My coworkers and I decided to stop here while in town for work and everything was absolutely delicious!! We had the hummus with veggies and pita, Greek salad with chicken, chicken plate and beef gyro with Greek fries. The portions were large, the chicken was super tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the beef gyro w/ fries was fantastic. I always judge a Mediterranean restaurant by their hummus and this place is legit. SO GOOD!!!
I love the food here. I always stop when in the area. Fast & friendly service. Great tasting food.
Counter meal Greek place, kitty corner from St. Joseph's hospital. My family stopped in for a quick lunch and really enjoyed what we ordered. All tables only sat two people, so we had to split up at 3 different tables, so that was a little strange.
Attached pics include. Gyro beef/lamb,Tabouli salad, fries, Baklava
Mika's Greek is a great little mid-town location where you choose wraps or plates with your choice of protein. They serve them 5 ways: Original, Picado, Mediterranean, Diablo, and Ceaser. You also get a choice of 1 side: rice, fries, soup, salad, and hummus. They are all $9.99, and with the plates, you can get a large size for $13.99. I had a gyro wrap original with fries; it was piled with meat. My only complaint was that the pita was a little thin and fell apart after a while. Overall, it was very good give them a try and please support our local businesses.
This is a great little place for gyros. The food was tasty and arrived quickly and the price was reasonable. Everything was clean and the staff was quite nice.
It seems more oriented toward take-out than dine-in and the menu is fairly small. However, if you want a gyro and aren't expecting a fine-dining experience, then you'll probably enjoy yourself. We plan to go back.
I'm usually a big eater and the large lunch filled me up! There was ample everything and it was all tasty.
Very pleasant experience every time we go pick-up for lunch. The workers are kind, the place is clean, and the food is tasty!
Grab your utensils, condiments, etc after you order at the counter and get your drinks and sit. You're name is called, pick up your food. No frills. Had a lamb and beef gyro. It was ok, a little salty. Greek places never fail on fries. Would I go back? Maybe not.
The food was really good. My first time coming in.
Wish they had another location in the west valley. Definitely will try the Greek fries next time! Good job owner and cook.
Lost a point for the pita bread that came with the hummus. The gyro pitas seemed fresher and were fine. Sides were good.
Friendly service, great good and amazing prices. I love this place. Very good Greek food.
Mika's Greek is a good and affordable lunch option for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike. I had the veggie plate with grape leaves, pita, hummus, and their lentil soup. The staff were extremely attentive to our lunch group and very helpful when I talked to them about their vegan options. The interior is nice, clean, and open without all the nonsense that some Mediterranean restaurants fall into.
Overall a solid choice. I rate it at 4 stars instead of five for three reasons. 1. It isn't the best Greek food I have ever had and I usually save 5 star reviews for the best of the best, 2. I wish there was a mezze type platter that just gave you every veggie option on a plate rather than a lot of grape leaves (falafel, grape leaves, hummus, and soup together), and 3. In this day and age of allergies, they really should explicitly mark what has dairy in it and what does not. Simple menu update and we would be good to go.
They were good, I'm hungry just thinking about them. I could eat there again today!
I think I found my Greek food spot in Tempe. The food is good, the place is clean, staff is nice, and it's right around the corner from me.
One of my favorite places to eat. Delicious food for a great price.
This has become my go to when I visit my Dad in the hospital. The young lady at the front is very friendly to me each time I come in. My order is always accurate and the Gyro is consistently delicious. The first time I visited this establishment I was a kinda down because my Dad wasn't doing well but just the greeting I received kind of picked me up and then the food changed my whole mood and my Dad even had a little (though he struggles with his appetite due to camcer). So if you're ever neat st. Joseph hospital do stop in and give them a try!
