Good location right next to the Christmas place. Food and service was great. Food was piping hot and fresh. The brisket didn't have much fat on it and tasted good. Skillet Mac and catfish sandwich were great. Smoked bologna sandwich could use some cheese (they should offer a cheese option). Took points off because I do not like the order up front business model. Fountain drinks are self serve. They do have service for bar drinks. I especially DISLIKE businesses asking for the tip UP FRONT. When restaurants do this it should be considered a FEE. The point of tipping is you tip based on the QUALITY of the service. I refuse to tip up front! Fortunately our waitress was very attentive and I left a great cash tip. It doesn't make any sense to tip before you get your service. I feel insulted by places that ask for the tip first. And honestly if I'm going to tip for service I would expect drink service to be included, not self-service drinks. I prefer the setup and atmosphere of the Murfreesboro Puckett's. This location has nothing about it that feels bona fide. I know it's a setup and nothing is original, but it doesn't HAVE TO feel that way. Everything was good except the atmosphere. Having visited other Puckett locations this one doesn't meet my expectations of the Puckett name. There are better restaurants in the area, I probably won't return to this location.

A group of girls were in need of some food after shopping and man Puckett’s didn’t disappoint. I love how you order before you sit down. Everyone was nice. The food was delicious. The food has that home cooked quality to it. We enjoyed the food that we went back the next day.

Loved this place! Giant menu when you walk in. Tell the cashier what you want and pay. Get your drinks and find a table. Very fast, simple. A band played the night we were there. You can order adult beverages from the bar. Fantastic food!! Will definitely come back!

You order up front, get you seat they bring the food. You can order with kiosks and avoid the line. Staff was friendly, food was good. My son cried the brisket was so good.

Stopped by on a Saturday evening for dinner. You place your order when you enter, pay, and pick a table. Servers bring your meal out and you get your drink from the soda fountain. We were in and out in half an hour! The food was great! Highly recommend the Piggy Mac and trying all their BBQ sauces! Restaurant was very nice looking and clean! Staff were friendly! We will come back on our next trip to Pigeon Forge!

Visited with my hubby as part of a quick weekend get-a-way. We ordered the fried pimento cheese balls for an app. followed by their house cheeseburgers and fries. The burgers were big and tasty but the stand-out dish was the fried pimento cheese balls w/pepper jelly. I highly recommend!

If you've ever been to Pigeon Forge, then you know that it is one of the busiest and most popular Tennessee tourist destinations. On our most recent visit, during the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, we made the rounds to all the fun spots on the main strip which featured The Christmas Place. This is worth the trip in itself... A visit with Santa, a sweet shop, customizable ornaments, nutcrackers galore and so much more! Parking and eating were the most inconvenient experiences throughout our entire weekend. However, as we were preparing to venture away from The Christmas Place, we decided to look for a restaurant we could simply walk to in order to avoid the whole parking hassle. It just so happened, that our first choice was only a hop, skip and jump next door... Puckett's Family Restaurant was open and serving lunch. Our wait was short. After we entered, a neat feature we greatly appreciated over similar area restaurants, was a counter where we could go ahead and place our orders & pay before being seated. The choices were mainly a BBQ variety with delicious sides. It all sounded perfect for my appetite. We ordered, paid and took a number to a table of our choice. We helped ourselves to fountain drinks and made our way back to the table. By the time we arrived, our food was arriving. We were surprised at how fast it came out, and how savory our selections were. I got a burger smothered in their BBQ, baked beans, jalapeños and slaw. I further topped it with their store made sauce... YUMMY! My wife was most impressed with her order of chips and store made (smokey flavored) salsa... So much so, we ordered extra to bring back home. The four of us topped off our meals with adult beverages concocted at the bar inside the restaurant. Don't get me wrong, although there was a small bar, this was TOTALLY a family-friendly establishment. Kids were seated all around us and having a ball in their own spaces with moms and dads. Comfortable and relaxing atmosphere to take a few minutes out of the chaotic touristic shopping frenzy surrounding us. I would hope others will enjoy this restaurant as much as we did! We'll definitely be back soon!

Loved Pucketts! Kinda of threw us for a loop having to order when you walk in. Different but not bad. Only had one person working the front. Food was a 10+ . Best fried chicken around. Everything we ordered was fantastic! Excellent bartender too!!! You will not regret stopping by. We will be back.

Make sure you ask for Amber, she was great! Food was wonderful and as good as the others in Nashville! Grab a bottle of sauce to go home with you. Order some of the bites and ribs!

Came in for drinks and appetizers. Abby greeted us right away with a happy smile. She was so sweet helping us order. Once seated we were greeted by Frank. He was so amazing. He took our drink orders and before we knew it our food was at the table. We only planned on getting a couple appetizers since we had a late lunch but after having a couple bites and seeing how delicious the food was we decided to order more. Frank was so wonderful with making sure our food arrived fast and that we had everything we needed. We ordered 2 deep fried brownies and Frank made sure they came out looking amazing. We could not have ask for a better server. Even after we left and were pulling away Frank came running through the rain to bring us a jacket that we left behind. There are just not enough words to describe what a wonderful waiter Frank is. Next time we are back in the area we plan on stopping back in. I just hope that Frank will be around to serve us.

Excellent spot to try southern food! I'd highly recommend the platter to get a taste of the most popular southern dishes. Given that Catfish is a local delicacy, I would also recommend the deep fried Catfish. Portion sizes were suitable to share and food was tasty. Live country music added to the ambience and the decor was southern rustic. As a quick note, the restaurant is self service in the sense you order at a front desk and find a seat anywhere.

Very interesting restaurant. It was a half automated, half staffed, sit down restaurant. I had so many questions. Has it always been this way or is this a product of the post covid Era? The food was decent, my fried chicken was a little over done and dry though. The sides were flavorful and the staff was super nice.

First time here and came in for a dinner in our honeymoon. Abby was great at the front. Pretty much every server in the building checked on us to make sure we were having a good experience. Even the bartender and bussing staff. Such amazing hospitality. The food was incredible. I got the ribs, the skillet Mac and cheese and some fries, my wife got the meat loaf with smashed potatoes and baked beans. We couldn’t stop stealing each others food in between bites of our own because all of it was so good. We shared a deep fried brownie Sunday that was heaping with ice cream and fixings. We had to take half of it home because it was SO much. The atmosphere was perfect. Music was playing but wasn’t so loud you couldn’t have a conversation. Decorations all around were interesting to look at. We have already put it on the list of “must go agains” for when we return to Pigeon Forge. 10/10.

I’m not sure why we waited so long to try this gem! Each time we have been the service and food has been top notch! All the employees are super friendly and the service is really fast! The fried pickles are a favorite of ours. My husband normally gets one of the burgers and I usually have the bbq.

Mike, Abby, and James were awesome! They went above and beyond to make sure there wasn't any soy in my food! A wonderful allergen friendly restaurant! The nachos were great! Finally something besides salad! Thank y'all for checking for me again!

Abby is super friendly, greeted us with a warm welcome and took or order. Sharon was our server, bringing our food, and promptly checking on us a few times, just enough so we knew we mattered. And then Sharon had to offer up BlackBerry cobbler, my favorite that I couldn't refuse. My food, Nashville Cheesesteak with brisket was great. The brisket has a great crust, juicy, full of flavor. The peppers and onions were cooked perfectly, the hoagie roll as well was toasted perfectly. My fries can extra crispy just as I ordered. My daughters Fried Chicken Club with pimento cheese, bacon on sourdough impressed my picky eater. Her side of skillet mac n' cheese was gooey with a little top crust which she loved. Kudos to Chef James...simple food but you hit it out of the park!!! (last night we had a horrible experience at another restaurant, we will call it "The chill fungus"). It's easy to pick any of about a hundred corporate giant restaurants, but eat local...go to Puckett's Restaurant. Thanks again to Abby, James, and Sharon for a memorable dinner!

We loved this place! We came in about 45 minutes before they closed and we never felt rushed. Our food was terrific! I highly recommend their mac and cheese. Do not order a burger unless you are really, really hungry. It was at least 1" thick, if not thicker. I ate half of mine and half the fries and I was full. Of course it depends on what you order, but 3 of us ate here for about $50-$55. Well worth it and we will be back!
