Charlie Clark's was ok. If you like steak it's the place to go. Otherwise everything wasn't my favorite. The fettucine alfredo I didn't care for at all. It was too oily. Our server was super slow we had to wait 20 minutes for our appetizer, and 45 minutes till we got our dinner. But the steak was awesome.
I did not like anything besides the steaks our server was terrible but we so some people getting great service. If you want steaks great place, anything else there are better places.
No good
One of My Favorites in the Area. This place has been a favorite since I began coming up to the White Mountains from Phoenix starting in 1982. The food and service are always enjoyable, but mostly I simply like the rustic, western atmosphere. A nice change from the more urban Orange County and Scottsdale places. Parking can be a little crazy, but you'll figure it out.
Started off with a well-fried Bloomin Onion. Then had the best hamburger ever. The meat was light and flavorful, not dense and bland. The french fries were well-seasoned. Finished off with homemade Cherry Cobbler ala mode. The crust was light and flakey. Can't wait to go back.
Worth the money. Their food is so yummy also the atmosphere is awesome. My family eats here every time we are in the area!
Great food but not worth the price. The entire menu was overpriced for the casual dining experience offered. We recommend the quail- fun, rare menu item not often seen; it was well prepared and very tasty. Outdated decor and average service does not justify $30 entrees.
Great for Lunch but Awful Dinner!. Went here for lunch and dinner when we were staying nearby. Lunch was great, had burgers and I got these fried onions to go on mine, absolutely delicious and fast service! Went here for Dinner and it was absolutely awful! My husbands steak was covered in fat, my salad had a FLY in it, my Alfredo was extremely bland and they kept stopping by and dumping water in my husbands sprite! He said something the first 2 times and after that just went with it,lol. Highly recommend for lunch but avoid dinner!
Best Pork Chops. My dad and I love pork chops, so Charlie Clark's is the place to go. They have great customer service as well.
