Service was slow, theyre real busy but coffee was amazing. I got two! Pumpkin Chai latte and the vanilla latte with oatmilk. Got "the brekky", was good. Bread was not as fresh as could be and there was no syrup on the sausage as the recipe said but was still delicious. The sitting area is awesome, the artwork super unique and adds a fantasy vibe. Love this place! Will be back
Glad I was able to pop in before their 1PM close. That is a tad bit early for those traveling but they were so sweet and accommodating. I got a perfectly done iced decaf americano and suuuuper soft buttery croissant. They kindly obliged to give some jam to spruce it up a little as I was sad to have just missed the last almond croissant. Plenty of seating for throes who like to hang out or need to study.
Good place for breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I like the sausage sandwich. There are few options for sandwiches. They also have good pastries.
We stumbled upon this place on our way to Tahoe and had no idea what to expect. Just great experience overall - we were welcomed with friendly smiles and the staff could not be nicer. Great coffee and dirty chai latte. However, the best part was their delicious breakfast sandwiches. They are made to order and the eggs are cooked perfectly…not overcooked which is so common. Carmelized onions on the vegetarian options are delicious.
We just moved here from El Cerrito and very much miss having a goto neighborhood independent coffee shop. EBCC looks to have one that spot for us.
Excellent food and coffee are essential to a good spot. However, in one visit we saw how much of a community hub this place is.

Loooove East Bay Coffee! Have only been going here for a few months but my roommate and I are fans. My go-to is the vanilla latte but they have a seasonal lavender latte. - run don’t walk!
If your love of coffee has plateaued, visit them and fall in love again !

You know a good coffee place when their Flat White only comes in one size and they have a line out the door even when the weather is bad. This is the best coffee place in town, I come here at least once a week. I could not recommend it enough.
