My favorite ice cream place in NH. I live in Southern NH but I visit Pittsburg at least once a year and always have to eat here at least once. I get the loons nest but always with a new flavor. It is the best sundae by far! My kids always beg to stop by to get an ice cream. We all leave very happy! The service is great, the view is great and the food is great!
Away on vacation in a cabin in Pittsburgh, NH, and we did not know what to expect. But a few doors down a line of cars on the street and a crowd lined up to order ice cream tells us all we need to know. This has to be the best place in town to get an ice cream. Not only that, but they have a list of specialty Sundays, too. We did not mind the wait as it gave us time to mull over the long menu. There are too many choices. By the time it was out, turn to order I had to choose, and they offered to help by answering any final questions I had. And a decision was made. Several picknick tables were near to eat at and there was a view of the lake. All of us at our party enjoyed their ice cream. 🍨 We shall return as there were many other options we wish to try. Yummy!
A return trip and the Ice Cream was as tasty as ever. I got the McGalloway this time. The brownie on the bottom in the waffle cone was a great combination. The family also liked their dishes too. We shall return again. On future vacations. On the return trip, there was no wait as we went right before dinner. But again, there were so many choices we could have waited longer and mulled more over the many choices.
One of the best Ice cream joints ever! Such unique Sundaes & I've tried a few. My go to is The Muddy Moose add strawberries & peanut butter sauce. Try anything you won't be disappointed! If I could give more stars I would.
Best. Banana Split. Ever.
Mini 2-scoop banana split featuring Praline Pecan and Campfire S’mores ice cream, topped with maple syrup, butterscotch, whipped cream, walnuts and cherries.
You don’t want to miss this decadent opportunity!
Delicious ice cream in an idyllic setting. Innovative sundae combinations. Definitely make a stop at Moose Alley Cones before heading on to Moose Alley to view the Moose! A variety of socially distanced seating options so you can enjoy your ice cream even in pandemic times.
I went here for the NH ice cream trail, and it was a long drive but totally worth it in my opinion. The staff were great and really friendly! I really liked their strawberry ice cream. It had a creamy like texture and chunks of strawberries and it was sweet but not overly too much, had just enough of everything. I ordered a kiddie size cone and it was a little big! My boyfriend ordered a small cup of vanilla and he thought for sure it was a medium so the portion size, you definitely get what you paid for. Driving there seemed a bit sketchy especially this big drop on the road like hill, definitely felt like going down a Rollercoaster, on the way there and on the way back home but it's overall a great place to stop. Don't let the small stomach drop keep you from trying out this place though!
Best ice cream in the world first of all they have a bunch of picnic tables under a roof so you can even eat when it is raining second of all Durzi gigantic field that you can let kids run around in or play Ballin third of all it is some of the best ice cream in the world, and they are very generous with their prices and with their fudge and any kind of add-ons fourth of all it is near the lake so you can see a small view the lake in festival it is not too expensive
They have a variety of different sundaes to choose from and your basic hard ice cream and soft. There are picnic tables under cover
What delicious ice cream.
Even on a coolish June evening it was worth the stop
With 10--12 basic flavors it won't disappoint.
The sundaes are delectable and their speciality concoctions are devine.
Outdoor seating overlooking the first CT lake make it a special treat
Only reason its not a 5 star attraction is the limited variety of ice cream that is available.
Best Ice Cream Shop ever!! We love this shop and recommend it to all of the visitors to WinterFell-nh Pittsburg,NH
Cathy and Jerry are the best!
Yummy best ice cream!
