The best Italian food around. Better than Olive Garden hands down. The restaurant is clean, and the service is great too.
This quaint Italian restaurant in old historic Pittsburg was a hidden gem. It's surprising that more people don't know about this place. It was pretty quiet when we went there. The food was pretty good. Prices were reasonable, about $20-$35 per person. I got the special, so it was a little higher than normal. I took some pictures of what I got that night. The restaurant is located in a beautiful restored historical Art Deco building across from the Pittsburg Square.

C.C. the waitress was very pleasant and was very accommodating Johnny the owner checked on us to make sure we were all satisfied. Smiling the whole time.

Best authentic italian anywhere near! Get to go food during covid-19 clean and wonderful! Seafood sampler was delicious! The bread and the salmon for is so mouth watering wish I would have taken a picture. Delicious 😋

I grew up in Pittsburg and downtown has definitely changed! I'm so in love with the new area and really enjoyed my time at La Veranda with my family.
When I was visiting this last weekend we decided to give this place a try and we were very satisfied. We visited on a busy Friday evening and from the bar to the tables, there was barely any available seating. As busy as it was it seemed there were only 2 waitresses hustling, but they were still very attentive and checked on us regularly.
Our table ordered Linguine alla Vongole, Penne Tri-Funghi and Chicken Parmigiana (not on the menu but they still made it - nice surprise!). Although I didn't get to try the linguine, my mother loved it and my sister was raving about the chicken. As I've shared in previous reviews, they are hard women to please - so great job La Veranda! My husband and I shared the Penne Tri-Funghi and both loved it. We added chicken so it wasn't completely vegetarian but I really enjoyed the savory mushroom sauce! It'll be hard for me not to order this again when I come back to visit.
Overall we were very satisfied and I will definitely want to come back!
italian food and the setting at this place is excellent. Got there near five, it wasn't very busy. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. Atmosphere is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I loved.
