I had a great experience! My server was super nice and helpful. I couldn't decide between the biscuits and gravy or country fried steak. She asked the cooks and managed to combine them together for me. I was super happy getting to try them both in one dish! My dish was country fried steak with potato hash and sunny side up eggs. Steak covered in gravy that was substituted with sausage gravy and I chose my bread option as the biscuit!
When a breakfast place says ham slice. Most are lunch meat, not this place. A real slice of ham to go with fresh eggs and squeezed oj. I'm there. Note the hash browns have a seasoning on them similar to old bay.
Best place for breakfast!!! The kitchen Manager knows her stuff!!! Food was out of this world!!! Their homemade hot sausage is the best I’ve had!! Wait staff, especially Samantha was working so hard, running around help everyone!!! Great atmosphere and place to eat! Would recommend this 10 out of 10 times😊😊😊😊
I'm SO GLAD we had the chance to try this diner! I can only attest to the breakfast food, because that's all we had. But if the rest of their food is as good as their breakfast, then it's amazing! They had the best sausage gravy and biscuits ever! The grilled cinnamon roll was awesome. The pancakes were good. The staff was so pleasant and friendly. The prices were decent. If you live around there, you GOTTA try it!!!!
Absolutely fantastic! Went on a Friday morning and got to sit at the bar, and our server was awesome. I wish they had more vegetarian combo breakfast items, but they do a great job in making you feel welcome and leave full and happy.
I love this place. The breakfast burrito is sooo delicious 😋 I add turkey sausage to it, and wow 😍 so yum 💯 The grilled cinnamon roll...omg...just get one! 💖 I love the diner vibes and the friendly staff. Sam provides exemplary service and she always makes us feel right at home.
Kelly O diner was kind enough and accepted to open breakfast early morning at 4am to cater to Muslims fasting time. The menu was balanced and delicious and they offered Halal meat options . The service was excellent despite the fact there were 100 + people at the same time In restaurant. The kitchen staff was very very efficient in sending out correct orders. We all were very happy and pleased and enjoyed our first Sahoor breakfast in a restaurant in Pittsburgh. Very thankful to Kelly O diner for accommodating us.
First time in at Kelly O’s and it was great. The food and the service were great. We will definitely be back!!!
Have been here three times in the last two weeks and a dozen times before that over the years before moving out this way. This is one of the best diners you will find in any city.
I especially appreciate the fact that they are open at 7am on the nose, which means I'm not going to run late because the diner decided to open late that day.
The food is spectacular and quick. Today, I had the body builder omelette, which is a great low carb option for an easy arm day. They also have a bigger selection of hot sauce than most places.
Just make sure that if you are meeting people here that you all go in together. They do not allow people to join tables once the table is sat.
It has been almost a decade since I last tried this location. And I was actually happier with my experience this time around, so I think that says something, especially since their days on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives is long past.
First off, our server was especially great, as she was super attentive and pleasantly thoughtful of our two younger kids. That made the experience great right out of the gate.
The food we all had was quite good, and all four of us were happy for the experience. My wife got the crab benedict that was on special, and the bogarted bite I had was impressive, especially using real crab meat for a more than fair price. My French toast, that my daughter also got, was very good, and the various breakfast meats we all had were done well. Overall, it's definitely worth a stop if in the North Hills area and craving a decent breakfast/brunch.

A small but very pleasant 2nd home of Kelly O’s. The excellent quality of food is indistinguishable from the mother ship at Pittsburgh’s Strip District.
Any of the breakfast listing is outstanding, but I am most partial to the omelettes. It’s more than fair to say that it’s SIGNATURE is the POWER PLAY OMELETTE🤩🤩🤩. It reflects the city’s love for its sports team, the power they really play on court.
An unnoticed feature of the restaurant is the use of Fiesta tablewares, the marque American brand of dinnerware. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Yes, we’re America proud!!!

Courtney was our server and she was on the ball, amazing, amazing food!!!!! The line even to get inside moved very fast and we were so happy it did! We were starving and we definitely left full and happy

Always love the food at Kelly O’s. The service is fantastic. When I visited last week, Sarah made the best recommendation - I ended up taking home some sweet treats that were delicious.
Every time I go here, I enjoy awesome food and fantastic service. It's a bit pricey for breakfast, but 100% worth Every penny.
