DeLallo's is the only place we eat in the South Hills. We love coming here.. The dining room is a classic, "grown up" room, but never stuffy. The bar has the same food in a more casual atmosphere. Try the white French dressing, and don't forget dessert.
The chicken picatta, always my favorite dish, was perfectly done. My son enjoyed his steak. I loved the low lighting, lack of a TV set blaring and Frank Sinatra music plying in the dining room. Top notch service as well.
Fav restaurant in Pittsburgh. Scott and all the others are great waiters and waitresses. Never had a bad meal.
Been going to Delallos for special dinners since my daughter was born in 99. She insists on going there every birthday. We were there yesterday for #18. The meat ravioli with Dave's red sauce is something that should be on everyone's bucket list. The broiled spots are my wife's go to meal. It NEVER disappoints.
I have never had a bad meal here. Outstanding as always.
Fantastic place great food. Sharon is the best bartender/ server I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Wow
One of the best places to eat in the greater Pittsburgh area. The Virginia Broiled Spots is to die for! Great atmosphere and excellent service every time.

Consistently good food and drinks. We've never had a bad meal!
I go there often staff is awesome food is awesome what more can you ask for
Prime rib and wedding soup is my favorite meal to eat here. Staff is usually friendly and service is usually good! This place is a good spot to have a large family dinner esp over the holidays.
This place is a little on the pricey side. More a nice dinner out on the town and less a let's grab something on a Tuesday kind of restaurant. That said, the food is always good. One of the best places, in my opinion to get seafood. And if you do, make sure you order extra lemon butter cream sauce, as it is seriously delicious. I usually get the scallops or the spot, but everything here is good. Some day I will stop in and try the prime rib as I'm sure it is excellent, but I usually miss the day they serve it.My only complaint is that they used to update their menu daily, so you could find out what the daily specials were. They haven't done that in awhile. You can call, and they are always super friendly when you do, but since I know they are always busy, I try not to bother people by calling too often.
Always consistently good. Wedding soup, prime rib, and strawberry shortcake are all the best around. Reservations highly recommended, this place gets packed.
Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff! EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT INTO SEAFOOD YOU GOTTA TRY THE VIRGINIA SPOTS! Awesome OMG!
DeLallos is always, ALWAYS a solid choice. I'm always shocked when people don't know about it because, seriously? The food rocks! I basically can't go a week without their chicken Marsala. My family always buys a tray of their lasagne and/or ravioli for the holidays (seafood ravioli? Ummm, yes, please!). Their cocktails are also great too! If you want to go on a Friday or Saturday, you need a reservation, cause they are busy! But trust me, it's worth it!
Food Great, and good service. We had a large group the weekend of two major reunions at Bethel Park and Upper St Clair, and the management accommodated us by increasing our reservation from 6 to 10 people. The waitress was very attentive, food very good. I had ample, tasty veal piccata, more than ample, and my wife a large bowl of soup. Our party had 4 or 5 appetizers and all were good. Two in my group were vegetarians and they enjoyed the ravioli filled with squash. The manager on duty that night, Dave, was very friendly. The restaurant has a definite Bethel Park connection, I believe the chef is a BPHS graduate as well as Dave. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner.
Wonderful!. I eaten here several times and each time I've been impressed and happy. The food is delicious and proportioned well. The service is great, especially if you get Lauren. I would definately recommend going here and will be going back again. :)
Great service, food and price. My husband and I dined at DeLallo's on Saturday, January 12th and it was great. We made reservations for 8:00 pm and when we got there, we were seated immediately. The atmosphere is romantic and I liked the Italian decor. Our waiter was Mike and he extremely nice and attentive. We had wine, fried zucchini, eggplant parmesan and fettuccini alfredo. Everything was great and the price was even better. We'll definitely be back!
Was a great place for our anniversary. Didnt break the bank either. $50 for both of us to eat dinner. Everything from the staff to the food was amazing.
Best filet around. I compare all filet to the filet served here (including places like Capital Grille), and so far this is still superior. For the price, it honestly cannot be beat. The staff here is friendly, and the atmosphere is very comfortable.
Favorite Place. My husband and I have been going here a little over 12 years. It is one of our favorite places to have dinner together, or with friends and family. Favorites: chicken parm, steak & lobster and stuffed shrimp. Always certain on what you will get... GREAT Service, Great Atmosphere and Great Food!
My first time eating here and I was pleasantly satisfied. Most of the restaurants in the area are chain, so I was happy to find this small business. The decor was dated and gave a senior citizens vibe. My service was excellent, she was on point. The broiled stuffed jumbo shrimp was full of flavorful lump crab meat. It was a big plate, I struggled to finish it all but I did. The wait staff was polite enough to carry me out to my car because I was so full.
Great restaurant, delicious food, excellent service and conveniently located near the South Hills Village Mall. Pricing is reasonable, and the apple crisp cannoli might be a unique seasonal dessert and very good. Our server Alex was awesome, she recommended the Spots which were the best I’ve ever had. Thank you Alex!
We had a wonderful dinner at Bella's this evening. The food is absolutely delicious and our waiter Michael was amazing. Highly recommend making reservations. We will be returning again soon!
Changed name but nothing else that we could tell on our most recent visit. My chicken was way overcooked but that seemed to be a momentary problem as the other dishes were fine.
The best way I can think of describing this place is as a good, traditional, Italian-American restaurant. They offer all the classic dishes in a homey atmosphere and all are executed well. We went there with a group of friends and were treated very well by the very attentive staff. Carol was a delight – personable, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and efficient – everything you want from a good server. The support staff of bus boys was a bit overeager (they whisked glasses and plates away … sometimes before we were quite finished!) but were quick to replace them or leave them when we commented on it. And the manager also stopped by to check if everything was to our liking.
As to the food: Wedding soup, house salad, Chicken Parmesan – those are all Italian classics. The chicken Maremana and the Seafood platter were slightly different than the norm, but not so far out of line. The special of the Rockfish was well executed as well, although the garlicky risotto stole the show there! All the dishes were done well. I am not disappointed, but none of us were wowed by how exceptional they were either. Every dish was done very well, but did not go beyond that.
This is a place that I will definitely want to go when I want to get this kind of food and know that it will be done well every time and will never change. If I want more adventurous food, or variations, I will need to find other places. These are not negative statements. The longevity and crowds in this restaurant are a testament to how successful their formula is.
A Google search while at South Hills Village turned this place up. Very happy we stopped. There was plenty of parking and the restaurant was very clean. The waiter provided perfect service and everything that was ordered tasted amazing. I recommend the scallops. Very pleased with this establishment. Will definitely stop again in the future to try out some other dishes.
My shrimp bisque was very good, as was the roll. My Chicken Romano was excellent. The sauce on the side of pasta was okay. I was disappointed in the piece of chocolate mousse pie I had for dessert. However, the snowball cake that my cousin had was so delicious, I really wish I had gotten that instead. It was on the lunch specials menu, which I had not seen.
Went to Bella's first time. The restaurant was nice and clean. The food was excellent, if a bit pricey. Servers and staff were very nice, but sometimes a little slow for checking drinks, but it was very busy that night, nearly every table was occupied.
Accessibility in parts of the restaurant was very limited. The men's room was very narrow and I doubt it would accommodate a wheelchair. The back room where we were seated had a long narrow hallway through a staff work area and some sharp turns.
Overall it was a good experience.
Didn’t know what Spots was, it was excellent. Decent prices for excellent food. Bourbon selection could use some love.
Bella's is one of those select few restaurants in the area that you always know you will get a great meal. The food is always very good as well as the service. This restaurant is always very busy so it is wise to book a reservation at least a week in advance, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings.
This is the place to enjoy a wonderful dining experience. The staff and owners are friendly , polite, attentive with not going overboard. The meals are plentiful and served hot/cold as needed. There are many selections of beverages to enjoy. We enjoyed the family oriented atmosphere and the pleasant staff. Our party truly had a special experience. I really enjoyed it and recommend Bellas’ on Ft Couch as a place to enjoy fine dining.
