Sausalido was a great place to have our rehearsal dinner! They have a private upstairs room which was great for our large party. The food was excellent and I got many compliments from our guests. Their prices were incredibly reasonable for the amount of food that was served. Overall we had bread with dip, salad, 2 appetizers, pasta, chicken, salmon and dessert. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though they had multiple call offs, they made sure to have enough staff for our party. The owner’s wife even came in to help! We also had a few guests with strict gluten free/dairy free diets and they were able to accommodate them as well. They also had no corkage fee on wine which was appreciated! They boxed up all the leftover food and wine for us at the end of the night and made sure all the guests were properly taken care of throughout the night. Overall, I would highly recommend Sausalido for a rehearsal dinner/large dinner party due to their high food quality, friendly wait staff and reasonable prices.
The food was far above excellent, especially the vegetables. I had the chicken and it melted in my mouth. We never would have found this place if it weren't for the entertainment book and will definitely go back. The menu changes monthly and the chef is quite inventive .All the food is freshly made, even the bread. The staff made us feel very welcome. Not a large place so reservations are recommended.

Nicholas and his team at Sausalido made our wedding day! The food was absolutely amazing and I️ had multiple people tell me it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Nicholas is very experienced and knows the ins and outs of wedding catering and great food, which made the planning process so much easier for us. Sausalido catered our office Christmas Luncheon and it was absolutely delicious. Salads, entrees and dessert were all absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend working with them, and the feta pasta is the best!

I had a surprise birthday party for my fiancé here last night. The food was amazing, and the staff was extremely friendly!
The food, atmosphere and service were all wonderful! We had dinner with a party of six and were very well taken care of the whole evening. Very tiny restaurant, so reservations are a must. Bring your own wine to enjoy with a nice selection of menu items. Our group sampled a variety of dishes - risotto, pork chop, duck breast, chicken - and they were all delicious. Portions are very generous, and so there were leftover to take home. We will definitely be back!

Ordered brunch for 50 people. The food was very good and David came to set Everything up. Super efficient and on time. There was plenty of food to go around. Worked out really well
Sausalido catered my wedding and my goodness was it delicious! Me and my now husband both come from large Italian families, and we really wanted a delicious Italian feast of a buffet to share with our families on our wedding day. It was everything we could have wanted and more. SO delicious! Here are some pics from our wedding buffet.
Came from out of town to tailgate at the Pitt/Louisville game. Called Chef Nick and his team at Saisalido and ordered the Pittsburgh Tailgate option. The food was absolutely delicious. We had very little left overs and there was enough food to feed more than we ordered for. Chef Nick and his team were so helpful, polite and friendly. We ordered only a few days in advance and they were able to accommodate and exceed expectations! Thanks Chef Nick!

I had my wedding reception this past weekend. Sausalido catered the dinner and passed hors d'oeuvres and everything was INCREDIBLE. The guests raved about the food and the staff could not have been more pleasant. We had an array of guests with varying diets, allergies, and preferences. Sausalido not only provided options for everyone, but provided them with exceptional quality - cannot recommend this caterer enough.
The food speaks for itself. After we had our first tasting, we knew that Sausalido was the group we wanted to use. Nick is a very straightforward and forthcoming guy and he will offer you an honest price, excellent service, and excellent food. The staff was amazing and incredibly professional, and the setup of our apps and dinner was just beautiful. We chose the gourmet grazing option (buffet) for dinner, and asked Nick and his team to plate the salads last minute, which they were incredibly accommodating with. We loved our experience!
Small intimate place with lots of character. Food is really good,and it is BYOB,which saves a lot in that area. Seasonal menu,so they don't always carry the same stuff all the time. Crab cakes with risotto were delicious. Would definitely return!
We literally just left our tasting for our upcoming wedding and came straight here to let everyone know how amazing it was. Absolutely floored by the food! Chef Nick is hilarious and passionate about his craft and it shows.
We have only experienced a tasting at this point, but it was excellent! We we are excited to see the full-scale service for our wedding next summer.
What a great restaurant! I ordered a last minute 50 person catering order from them, and didnt realize how cute and quaint their little restaurant is as well, until I went to pick it up.
The food is not only delicious, but the presentation is also beautiful! There were so many colors on the plate.
I had the pleasure of working with both John and Nick in the pre planning stage, and they were both extremely helpful, reassuring and accommodating. Elijah was the chef on duty when I picked up the order who was also efficient, professional and really friendly.
Should the topic arise in a future conversation regarding "I need a caterer" I will absolutely suggest Sausalido's as a go-to option.
This place is such a great find! Everyone that works here is so nice, very accommodating. We held my bridal shower here and got so many compliments on the food!!
