The environment and vibes were perfect. It feels special. The service complimented that. Everyone was super kind and helpful for many of our first visit. Having worked in food service and customer relations I take note of the employees. Everyone was smiling, working hard, and actually appeared to enjoy what they were doing. To some that doesn't matter but to me it speaks volumes. The food smelled incredible and looked delicious. We waited a bit for our food but they were busy on Saturday that's expected. I ordered the Robata shrimp and it was extremely tasty. It was a not super warm but again when a restaurant is busy I come to expect that. I'll definitely be visiting again on a less busy night and maybe try some new food. Overall a great experience, service, and environment makes up for slight dip in quality of food. Thanks for a great night!

Big fan of this place. Nice Pittsburgh spot with great service and decor that transports you to somewhere not Western PA. I stop in here semi often, but the scenery is nice and the cuisine is pretty good. Prefer to sit at the bar than the restaurant space but to each their own. Cheers!

Food were tasty. Enjoyed golden curry and fried rice. Service was not bad, just understaffed. Great vibe though.

Very good ambiance. We went there as a group of 20 and had a good time. However, there was only one person attending to our entire group and unable to serve all of us properly. It would have been good if they had at least two attenders.

we went here after a football game. we were seated immediately and our waitress greeted us promptly. we got the robata ribs, firecracker shrimp, pad Thai, and spicy edamame. everything was hot and full of flavor. the manager, Kay, seated us and we spoke after our meal. she was a delight to speak with and I invited her to our restaurant if she every came to California. definitely recommend Social House 7 for after a game or any time you want great food and even better service.

Great Space for Eating and Meeting. I stopped into Social House Seven for drinks and food with business colleagues during a recent visit to Pittsburgh. We had all just flown in and checked into our hotels and were looking for a good place to eat. Our of our group had been here before and recommended the place. The restaurant has amazing interior designs, high-quality Robata grilled meats, and we shared some savoury appetizers, and I had one of the house Ramens, the Tonkotsu Ramen for my main course. It was good evening with great food and I would eat here again the next time I'm in Pittsburgh.

The atmosphere in Social House 7 is extremely cool, very unique. Wait staff was also great. The food was also delicious. Probably some of the best sushi I’ve ever had and the noodles were so good. The only real disappointment was one of the most average old fashions I’ve ever had for $17. If it was $9, it wouldn’t even be part of this review and it would be a 5 star review. But for $17, you better be doing that well, especially when the prices aren’t listed on the drinks menu.

Great food....service was a good pace...got there at 5:30 and had tickets to the symphony for 7:30. Got there in plenty of time! Though it definitely picked up business in there after 6. Sushi was excellent! We tried the Green Forest Rolls, Shrimp Tempura Rolls & Lobster Tail Rolls. We also tried the Pork Belly Skewers &the Wok Charred Rice Cakes. Plenty of food for two people!

Our first experience eating there was just okay. The ramen was fairly disappointing, and the sushi roll I had was mediocre. The saving grace was the scallops. Our second visit was much better. The pork belly skewer appetizer was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful, the steak in the bibimbap was also wonderfully done, and I had probably the best tofu I've ever had there. The outside was crisp but still easy to cut through and the inside was warm and it melted in your mouth.

Had such a great time at Social House 7. The atmosphere and ambience makes for such a dope vibe. The drinks were delicious the food was amazing (although my Ginger Fried Rice w/chicken was just a tad bit too dry for me) otherwise everything was good. Especially the service, Jayden our sever was awesome. She was very attentive to our needs, gave us great recommendations, and just made the overall experience that much better. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is very cool and the food is absolutely delicious! I had the tonkotsu ramen and my wife had the hamchi crudo. We split a flight of sake and a spicy tuna roll. All of it was top notch. The sushi tasted super fresh. The pork in the ramen was unmatched. It was crispy yet tender. My wife describes it as "12/10" haha. Would highly suggest visiting.

Last night was my second time dining at Social House 7. I had the same waiter as I did the first time and he is truly exceptional at his job! The food was amazing, again. We shared the brussel sprouts as an appetizer, then shared two sushi rolls for dinner, and a banana egg roll for dessert (not on the everyday menu though). If you go, be sure to ask for John! He provides an excellent experience!!

My girlfriend and I have dined here a few times, almost always great service. We went here Saturday night before a show at the Benedum. While we had some issues with drink and food orders, we understand mistakes happen: Journey was a great server and was very professional in her communication and made every effort to correct the mistakes. The manager Kevin happened to walk by and i simply requested an update on the lettuce wraps as I know they serve food as it’s ready. It was in no way a complaint. I just simply wanted the lettuce wraps. Kevin and Journey went way above and beyond, Kevin comped all our food, which wasn’t necessary, and a drink and insisted a free dessert. The food and service was is on all our other visits, excellent, which is why it’s one of the restaurants in our rotation to go to before a show. We didn’t ask for the comps and would gladly have paid, as the food and drinks that we did order and eventually got were delicious. Thank you Journey and Kevin, we will be back.
