We loved our meal here! The food was excellent and service was crazy good. Highly recommend the fried oyster mushrooms and the bi bim bap- wow is it done well.
Delicious Korean food in Garfield on Penn. Not able to make reservations but luckily we had no wait when we showed up with 3. Seems like a good place for small groups of 4ish. Lots of shareable plates and entrees. We tried the Korean fried chicken, Korean BBQ combination plate, Korean fries and pineapple salmon. All very delicious. Definitely will be back again
We honestly can’t stay away from this place. The food is of excellent quality, the workers make you feel like family, and the drinks are delicious! We mostly just drink soju but compared to other Korean spots in pgh, their soju selection is much bigger. :) I wish they had lychee and sparkling soju (tock soda) but won’t knock a star off for that lol
First time visit there. Very nice place. Friendly service staff and very good Korean food. Update: third time visiting last night. Everything we had was great. Tried the Soju green apple and that is a new favorite drink. A table next to us ordered the nachos after we had finished dinner. We definitely will be ordering that the next time. In fact, I think just going there for the appetizers and drinks would be a nice way to have dinner there. Looking forward to stopping back in.
Update 2. Went tonight as a part of First Friday on Penn Ave. Great food and service as always!
Delicious food and drinks! The chicken katsu curry was the right amount of spice, and the chicken was so tender inside but nicely breaded and textured on the outside. Drinks were good as well, did not taste too strong and were quite smooth. Nice atmosphere to dine in, and friendly staff too. Definitely will come back.
We had so much fun here. The food was delicious but the soju is genuinely next level. It is immaculate alcohol without so much bite. You really have to try it, it's so smooth. We tried a few new foods that were so so good and genuinely the staff treats you like royalty. I can not wait to come back.
I'm obsessed with Soju. Their food is always so good and the atmosphere is casual yet cozy and fun. I have a shellfish allergy so it’s hard for me to find Asian style food to eat but Soju is a shellfish-free restaurant so I’m confident about what I eat knowing there’s no cross contamination. The kimchi nachos and the Korean poutine are favorites of mine. Absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend!!
Best Korean restaurant in Pittsburgh. Fun and interesting menu, absolutely delicious Korean bbq and fried chicken, and a solid cocktail menu as well.
I haven’t been here for so long, suddenly it came yo my mind and we went! It was still so so good. I really mean it. Drinks are still delicious. Foods are still yummy yummy.
So, if you are looking for a perfect night, this place would be your option. Enjoy it.
What a great experience! We arrived at 6:15pm on a Friday evening and waited for an hour and it was well worth the wait. Our servers were super friendly and our food came out so quickly. We tried the kimchijeon kimchi pancake for the starter which was tangy and super flavorful. Then we had the kimchi chicken fried rice and Korean BBQ combo for the mains. The meats in the BBQ were super tender and had a nice sweetness and smokiness. The kimchi fried rice had a wonderfully balanced flavor profile with a bit of spice, sweetness, saltiness, tanginess, and loads of umami. The chicken was nice and tender! The portion sizes were great and left us with a lunch for the next day. Would love to visit again!
