Wm Penn Tavern - Pittsburgh - Photo album

Busy, sports, food. As busy as it gets, the folks here are still able to maintain that neighborhood pub vibe where everyone can feel welcome and like they always have room for one more. The wings are crispy, even the ones with wet sauce. šŸ˜‹ draft beers come in the taller glasses, 20oz? Enjoy it on a
Dear William Penn Tavern, I just wanted to thank you for running an excellent establishment. I came for happy hour tonight, and had some Guinness and some onion rings. I absolutely love onion rings, and I was very happy with the sizable portion that you provided. The server was excellent, and alway
Outstanding bar/tavern that was formerly located in Shadyside. Wings cannot be beat - get the ā€œkitchen sinkā€ version.
The WPT has moved locations but their cheesesteaks haven’t changed. Soft hoagie roll isn’t my choice, but works well for this sub. A little extra pepper relish on the side for a little heat, but can’t forget a lite line of Heinz to top off this. I remember the wings being pretty tasty too.
Kitchen sink wings extra crispy!! Can't go wrong. One of the friendliest staffs in Pittsburgh.
Without question, this place has the best cheese steak I've ever had. Admittedly, I haven't been everywhere, but I've been to a lot of places. I finally introduced my wife to it, and it's her favorite, as well. For one, they use white American cheese, which surprised me, but makes quite a difference
Went to the wpt for the night for some good drinks. They had a pitcher of bud light for 7.50 as well as .50 boneless wings. We ordered 10 wings. 5 buffalo and 5 voodoo. The voodoo was still cold in the midldle and so was the buffalo so we sent them back to be cooked thouroughly. Im pretty sure they
Only had wings but they were excellent all around. You can order $1 wings any quantity so a fine way to try several different sauces, though their classic wing sauce is good too. Cozy place with great service.
The wings were out of this world. So crispy and the mild sauce and ranch were delicious. As a Philadelphia native the cheesesteak was excellent the roll, cheese and onions tasted phenomenal the steak was delicious but to me the only flaw was it was cut a tad to thick, if they could slice the steak a
Best cheesesteaks and wings in Pittsburgh. Always great service. Great place to watch any sporting event.
We had the absolute RUDEST waiter ever its like he truly hated his job. He was slow, brought us Tequila shots in FILTHY glasses they had an attibecause we requested plastic cups after the 6 glasses he brought were dirty. We eat here alot so we are not letting his sour mood deter us from coming back
I live in Lawrenceville. This is my go to spot when I have a taste for wings. I always get the "kitchen sink" wings. I've been getting those since they were located in Shadyside. I always call and place an order for pick up because I'm not really a fan of the new Lawrenceville location. The atmosphe
This place caught me off guard in a good way. Great atmosphere! Football fans talking back and forth ribbing each other in good nature. Great affordable food! I will definitely go back.
Great place for fun people looking for good food and fun . Great gyro wrap
Their fries and chicken strips were super hot and yummy. The bartender was really attentive and got to us as soon as we sat down. The cook came out with our food and was super friendly. All around great experience. We'll definitely be back.
Friendly, didn't e a t this time but loved the deep fried pickles
