3rd time in Pittsburgh and kept hearing about this place. SO glad I went. Great staff, I wanted to try to medium but didn't want to commit for all of my tenders. They made just one that was medium! Everyone was very friendly. The good was fantastic. Best homemade lemonade I've ever had from a restaurant.
Been here many times, small menu but great food. Ordered Nashville hot fries, bird dog and sandwich.. all yum 😋

My family of 3 has now hit this, Layne's, and Cain's in the neighborhood and have to say this was our favorite. So incredibly fast, a handful of menu differences vs the other two, and the chicken itself was the best. The batter, crispiness, juiciness and overall flavor I'd rank highest.
Bonus points with this being a small local chain (from what I saw briefly) and thus something at least slightly different than what you can get in plenty of other cities across the country.
The best hot chicken you'll get in Pittsburgh probably. It's very good and VERY reasonably priced and they have a good amount of indoor seating for Oakland! I eat here like once a week so it's definitely a good choice if you want something quick and cheap in Oakland.
First time getting Nashville hot, and I ordered a low heat level since I wasn't sure how hot we were talking... "mild" was certainly that, so I'll go one higher next time. Tenders stayed crispy on the ride home and they were pretty meaty, a bit dry but the pickles helped with that. Loved the aggressive seasoning on the fries.
Awesome fried chicken spot! Really fulfilling and does the job. Service was also really good! The food itself was awesome but I wish the chicken was a bit more crisp. Otherwise the sandwich was super hearty and a single order is enough to fill your hunger.
Very solid hot chicken - it was my first time ever eating it and I'd say it definitely met my expectations. Pricing was reasonable ($11/sandwich), if not a little bit on the high-end by Pittsburgh standards. There are different spiciness levels you can get and I'd say that medium was a perfect amount of spiciness for me.
The place that puts Nashville to shame with its hot fried chicken. Have been going to Chikn sporadically since the past 2 years and the quality and taste has been consistently good. Must visit if you crave spicy chicken and are in Pittsburgh.

is good and portion is large. Combo order (with fries and drink) may be too much unless you are really hungry. Waffles are a bit soft and not crispy. Need to wait around 10 minutes for order, though price is reasonable.
