It has a very old school diner feel to it. It was busy, but the staff moved everything along at a good pace so no complaints on the wait times for a table or our food. I got the cheesy eggs Benny and my wife got a Mediterranean omelet. Food was great and filling. Definitely on the return list.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for brunch for a while. It’s real life Pittsburgh here, with all sorts of folks. Good for people watching! I was given a dirty fork and our server dropped a jelly packet on the floor and still put it on our table to use as if nothing happened. Reminded me of my grandfather’s saying: “You have to eat a peck of dirt before you die.” Food was ok and the staff was sweet.
This place is in unbelievably phenomenal. Liver and onions was best ever portion sizes were incredible. Wedding soup was wow. They even made me liver before they are supposed to.. I traveled over and hour to come here and let me tell you it was worth the trip and my family and I will definitely be back.
Was skeptical at first because of the mix use with the bar. Old school diner feel with carpet and white tables. Tried breakfast (2 eggs and such with hotcakes for the table) A chaotic whirlwind of diner excellence. Full house on a Thursday morning. Line to get in was long but seemed to be worth the wait. Overall food came out fast and hot, they use the hashbrowns from the cartons that I love(could be crispier but you can probably order them well done). The servers were fast and attentive. I will be coming back.
The location felt especially welcoming to families. I was impressed with the waitresses attentiveness, and the food was delicious and quick. Most impressive was the generous portions. Half my meal went home with me, because it was much bigger than expected.
First time visit was a hit. Family restaurant with a lot of history in the walls. Warm atmosphere, family oriented. Above all, the breakfast menu was delicious. My go-to now for breakfast. Thank you!
From the first time I went I knew I'd be back and I have every week since. Great food even better service and the place feels like home like the servers are family. Good prices
One of the few remaining classic Pittsburgh diners. A place where you can buy lottery tickets at your table while you make your way through a huge ruben sandwich and fresh cut fries.
This was during the pandemic. Large portions. Sat quickly. The server was super attentive and friendly. Food was good. Ordered app sampler (to split), soup (to split) and entree. Couldn't eat even half my entree because the food was so large. Prices were good value too.
I eat there at least once a week ,I've never had anything bad to eat there. I would recommend anything on the menu and the service has always been excellent even when busy.
First time there and everything was really good, we'll definitely be back. Plus they have Pittsburgh sports bar on the other side of the restaurant, YINZ know what I'm talking about.
I always order the steak salad for home…here’s a pic. I added nothing! The steak was done perfectly, looks like 8-10 oz. Greens, a mountain of fries, grilled onions. Great meal, great service. Many great items on the menu, love you guys!
This is a nice family diner with great food prices and service. It's definitely worth the money coming here.
I used to frequent this place for breakfast, they make a good breakfast at a fair price, the service (like most places) completely depends on exactly which waitress you get, some of them are AWESOME and some of them are less than the best.
Great place to eat. They give plenty of food portions so you leave full.
I had the fried fish. It was very good. They have lots of seating and good service. I recommend it there.
Great food and service even though short staffed. We both have create your own omelets and I had corn beef hash which was delicious. Always a stopping place when we visit Pittsburgh
Good place to eat. Staff is wonderful, good basic food at good prices.
