I absolutely love the prime rib French dip sandwich, with a side salad and a pickle on the side. Also notable are the breakfast items, the soups, and yes--that Texas chocolate sheet cake is to die for. (It's probably not a Texan recipe, since the owners are from the Chicago area, but man, it tastes like melt-in-your-mouth Texas sheet cake...).

We've been looking for a good breakfast place in Utah county and man, we found it! Real eggs, not the fake-poured kind, huge side of bacon, golden, buttery GIANT puffy pancakes, perfectly crisped hash browns and the juiciest, fattest sausage I've had ever. Amazing food. Fun ambiance. We will be back.

Do not leave this place without trying the sidewinders. This is a perfect lunch spot. I love the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 soup or sidewinder deal. I chose the club house and loved it.

Though the food took some time to come out. They communicated that they were short handed and taking longer than usual with a sign at the front of the store. So no point loss there. The sandwich was delicious, far different from the norm for Utah. Onion rings were delicious too

I've heard so many great things about this place I don't know why it took me so long to come here when it's just around the corner! We were warmly greeted by Jesse, one of the co-owners who made sure we were comfortable on placing our orders in the kiosk. The menu was explained to us pretty well. The ambiance is great! This place is a true gem! We tried: Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the cobb salad. Both were fabulous! Their onion rings are OFF THE HOOK. I was so impressed the first time I took more people in here that same week and Jesse recognized us! Gave us first-class service, and treated us like family. If you want superb food quality, great staff, and good ambiance, this is the place for you!

This place was recommended by a coworker. Expensive like everything else these days. I would consider going back again. Tried the following 3 sandwiches: -Philly au jus: Not my favorite philly. The meat was a little strong flavored (not sure why, but it reminded me of dark meat in poultry). My son, however, liked it the most. -Reuben: Really excellent pastrami and sauerkraut on delicious rye bread. This was my favorite of the three. Will probably order it again. -Paul's: This is their signature sandwich, and it's really packed with great italian flavor. I loved it, but I might order it without mustard next time. The winder fries look really good, but they're just okay. We didn't try the tots or onion rings, but I will next time. Maybe our family's favorite part was eating in, and listening to the great oldies music while watching the giant television ("MASH" reruns haha).

Grilled ham & cheese was golden and the half size was perfect! Didn’t necessarily love the sidewinder fries. The bottles of fry sauce and ranch was a nice touch!

My fiance and I go here on dates nights all the time. They always give amazing service. Not to mention the food is AMAZING. I know it's a sandwich place, but trust me they are well worth it 100%. Love this place to pieces.

Absolute GEM in Little Pleasant Grove. I've heard this place talked about by the locals. Can't believe I didn't go sooner. I've had a Reuben twice now and it is absolute divine! Tonight picked up a sandwich to go with a side garden salad. They threw in extra sauce for me! I'm all about the sauce. And the garden salad was fresh and generous in portion. Someday I'm going to have to try something other than the Reuben but for now that's my favorite.

Friendly and attentive staff. Paul’s Italian sandwich was the packed with flavor. Philly sandwich was ok. I wouldn’t get that one again.

Decided to give this place a try when we were hungry for a sandwich, and was not disappointed. A quaint little place tucked in a strip mall next to Macey's, has a nice charm to it. The staff was friendly and helpful with our questions to understand how to order, what the sides were, and how big the sizes of the breads. The food was delicious! I had the turkey sandwich with the sidewinder fries. They were amazing and different. The sandwich was tasty and moist. We will definitely be going back.

Looking for hidden gem in Utah food? This is Paul’s Place in Pleasant Grove and it is the BEST sandwich place. This is one of my favorite fast food unique to Utah! It has come a long way and was able to not only survive the COVID days but thrive and become better! It is my go to when I am looking for the best sandwich near me. We got the half size of a cobb salad & the Ham & Cheese sandwich. Both are AMAZING! They use the best mustard on the sandwiches! Don’t forget to the their sidewinders - they are spiraled potato wedges with the best seasoning! It is definitely a Utah hidden gem restaurant that you need to try! It is a bit of a Utah hidden food place too as it is tucked back behind the maceys in Pleasant Grove!

Paul's place provides exceptional service in a clean, comfortable shop. I like that each sandwich comes with curly potato fries. The quality of the food was excellent. I remove one star only because prices are a little higher than average, but you are certainly getting your money's worth.

Oh, man! I can't say enough good things about this place! First and foremost, the food is deeeeeeelicious! I keep getting the reuben because it's so good, but my niece got the patty melt the other day, and it was wonderful, too! I want to try all the sandwiches here! Second, the atmosphere is great. It feels sorta rustic and laid back, and the music is always excellent. It's on the expensive side, but I really think it's worth it because their sandwiches are just that good. Thinking about it makes me want to get another one right now!

Great sandwiches, sides, and sodas. I really like the spicy French dip. The tater tots are good. The onion rings are excellent. Their breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal.

I do love my sandwiches. Since WitchWitch and Baileys closed down I been searching for that new go to place. Well this is that place. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is so flavorful filling. Only down side is that can be a bit pricy. If you love sandwiches this is the place for you.

My friend said that she had tried a Reuben Sandwich at Paul's Place and had been craving another one ever since. I was curious since I had never had a Reuben sandwich. I tried it tonight and it was delicious. I had a side of clam chowder that was very good (and I have tried lots of clam chowders). We had onion rings and they were also good, but the guy next to us said that the English chips were amazing. I must try them out next time I go. They also have lots of breakfast options that looked great. Atmosphere was really nice and classy yet comfortable. I was really impressed and will definitely be back.

If you love sandwiches, Go here! I was in the area and decided to stop by and I’m glad I did! The environment is great, the customer service is incredible and the food is on point! I got their popular sandwich: Paul’s Italian. Sandwich was very flavorful, and the fries were delicious as well. Good portions too.

The food was excellent. I think it is a little overpriced, but when you combine the service, atmosphere, and food, it equals a great dining experience.

Service was really great. The individual that helped us place our order was extremely attentive and nice. She helped us place our order instead of asking us to use the computer ourselves. She welcomed us to the restaurant and said goodbye when we were leaving. The food (Philly Cheesesteak) was really good. The service was excellent. I am all about embracing technology, but the ordering system at Paul's Place is the least intuitive I've ever used. The last two times I've eaten there, an employee has had to come across the counter and explain how to use the touchscreen to complete my order.

Really good food . It is more like 17 for the full sandwich and half is 10 but it does come with a side . Super fresh. Looking forward to trying breakfast next time .
