Baci is getting better over the years. The menu is big, the service staff has been around and are courteous and professional, the food is tasty and comes in large portions, the wine list is long, and the bar knows how to make a good cocktail. If you haven't visited in a while, give it a shot once again. Cool stuff on the menu, like squid ink spaghetti with prawns. Baci is a fun place to eat in downtown Pleasanton.

The Lamb Shank is fall off the bone out of this world. All of the meals I have had here are yummy. The restaurant is very clean and staff is amicable. Matt is the man, great service and greatsense of humor. Let's keep supporting small family owned businesses.

Absolutely charming, authentic, classy and gourmet home cooking meals. Our dining experience was so great that mom and I had to visit one last time the next day before driving home to Sacramento. If you love Italian cuisine and love to feel like you’re in the hands of Little Italy???? Go here!!!!

Had a lunch last weekend, took a outside table. The service was terribly slow, the food took over 30 minutes to come out, however the pasta tasted real good.

The service and atmosphere were great. We had Chicken Picatta and Strogonoff, both were OK, but too bland. The fresh baked warm bread and meal sized salad with berries were great. Serving sizes are generous. A bit pricey.

Food and service was really good. Cute atmosphere. Definitely would go again. I had the risotto and scallops. And we ordered the Brussel sprouts which were also very good.

friendly staff and good service. We had an inside table in a room that was half full and found it difficult to hear the people at our table speak. until the crowd thinned out, it was hard to carry on a conversation. in good weather the outside tables might be a better choice. I found the food to be rather bland- I had the beef stroganoff. my wife had the chicken picatta and felt the same way. $100 for two lunch meals was a bit expensive for what we got. the bread was really good and the deserts expensive but tasty.

Quiet atmosphere. Main course was a little too salty and cooled down for me. But the fish is cooked perfectly. Choice of vegetables not something I would want. The small plates are nice. Try the cheese toast!

This is the restaurant I will always visit whenever I stop by the Pleasanton downtown. Sitting outdoors watching the street view and people with pets passing by makes a perfect and relax weekend !

This was our first meal after traveling in from the East Coast and it did not disappoint. They brought out a ton of freshly baked warm bread to enjoy when we were seated, and we had the crab cakes as well as the squid ink pasta and the chicken Marsala. Everything was tasty and came out fairly quickly. Plus they have a very extensive wine list to choose from, and the waitstaff are very nice. It does get crowded on Friday nights so be sure to call to make an advance reservation!

I love this place. You could easily come here and fill yourself up on the appetizers alone. The drinks are amazing, and I've never had something I didn't enjoy. Great for birthdays and date nights.

We've been here for brunch before, but this was our first time coming for dinner. The two of us showed up around 6pm on a Friday and were seated immediately. Our server was on point - quick, very friendly and helpful. Now, the food: I ordered the sole despite initially balking at the high price. I'm so glad I did. It was the singular best fish I've ever had anywhere. There was a citrus sauce that was just AMAZING (caps necessary). My boyfriend was a little less impressed with his seafood pasta, but I think that's just because my meal set the bar so high! I ordered the Italian custard and berry dessert (I couldn't pronounce it, and certainly can't remember what it was called now) as well, and it was very light and so, so good. We also had the grilled artichokes as an appetizer and they were delicious. We will definitely be back.

The food was fantastic! Everyone was extremely pleased with their dinner choice. The service was excellent. This was our second time at Baci Bistro. The first was for brunch and we sat inside. We knew we would come again as the food was delicious. This time we came on a Saturday night and sat outside. This was a mistake. Although the weather, food and service was perfect a man with a megaphone started preaching on the opposite side of the street. We could not have a conversation with this fanatic screaming into his megaphone about his god. This was not the restaurant’s fault or in their control. They did try to turn up the background music though. He definitely made a fantastic dinner significantly less enjoyable. We will just sit inside next time.
