Great Mexican food in town. Great value, the salsa was of the hook. Taquitos tasted so good.
Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round the culinary campfire, for I have stumbled upon a hidden gem in the unlikeliest of places. Pleasanton, California, a town that might not be on the tip of your foodie radar, but fear not, for Fiesta Taco has emerged as the shining star in this gastronomic constellation.
Now, let's talk about those Al Pastor tacos. Oh, sweet succulence wrapped in a tortilla embrace! The meat, kissed by flames and time, achieves that perfect balance between tender and charred, dancing with flavors that transport you straight to the vibrant streets of Mexico City. As I took my first bite, I felt an almost spiritual connection with the art of slow-cooking, and the blend of spices whispered secrets of generations past. It's the kind of taco that dreams are made of, the kind that could convince a somber mime to tap dance with joy.
But let's not forget, dear wanderers of flavor, that even in the midst of a taste revelation, there's room for the unexpected. Fiesta Taco's salsa bar, oh my! It's not just a corner of the establishment; it's a symphony of salsa. A harmonious medley of heat, tang, and texture awaits your creative endeavors. Mango habanero, roasted tomatillo, smoky chipotle – they're all there, waiting for your chip to take the plunge.
Now, let's address the elephant in the room: Pleasanton. It might not be the most glittering star in California's galaxy, but here's the twist – Fiesta Taco manages to make it part of its charm. Like a magician who conjures wonder out of thin air, the eatery's vibrancy and flavor cast a spell that even the most skeptical food adventurer couldn't resist.
So, in conclusion, my fellow culinary explorers, don't let the geographical coordinates fool you. Pleasanton, thanks to Fiesta Taco, has transformed into a pilgrimage site for Al Pastor worshippers. The tacos are the stuff of legend, and the salsa bar is a canvas for your saucy artistry. Embrace the unexpected, for sometimes it's in the unassuming corners that food magic truly happens.
Love this restaurant, been going here the last 8 years for lunch.
Super Shrimp burrito is the best one around, maybe only something in the Mission can compete.
Prices are reasonable, portions are HUGE, and food quality is 👌.
They have a salsa bar, with some really good salsas - my favorite is the green, it's garlicky mild tasty. Chips are always fresh and on point.
Best Mexican food in Northern California!! The burritos are big and filling. The Al pastor is incredibly tasty. The green salsa is thick and flavorful. Can’t go wrong with anything at this place!
There are a handful of taco shops in Pleasanton, and this one, by far, is my favorite. Why?..The price, portions, food quality, and service are great. There are big bench tables inside for families to sit and a few tables outside as well. You can get complimentary baskets of chips, and the salsa bar is really good. For someone who likes spicy food, the food and salsa options here actually have some kick. Many of the local taco shops have a much milder kick. We come here at least once a week.
I got a burrito, forgot to take a picture! It was pretty good but not the best one I’ve had. I would come again. The staff were very nice and they had a lot of salsas and whatnot you could add! Lots of parking available too.
The food was very tasty. We went there 2nd time and we were impressed with their quality, freshness, quantity and service. They have varieties of salsas. This is our go to Mexican restaurant and try to eat here every time we are in this area. It is a fast food kind but they do bring the order to your table and always ready to help.
The Quesobirria was good! Loved the fact that the chips were crispy and salsas had great flavor and proper kick. Plus, the staff were nice!
I have only been there twice and loved the food. One might have to wait a bit more than usual (it's definitely worth the wait). It's seems that they might be always shorthanded, and sometimes tables aren't ready for customers. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
Having grown up in an area renowned for its authentic Mexican cuisine, I have high standards when it comes to Mexican food. Luckily, Fiesta Taco, conveniently located around the corner from my office, offers a satisfying selection of Mexican dishes. While their food may not be life-changing, it is consistently solid. The flavors are enjoyable, the service is reliable, and the overall experience is comfortable. I appreciate the cleanliness and attention to food handling they maintain. Although our current diet doesn't allow us to frequent the place as much, Fiesta Taco remains a beloved staple in the community. If you find yourself in the area and craving Mexican food, I wholeheartedly recommend giving them a try.
Ordered 3 carne asada soft tacos but they gave me 4. When I went up and told them they may have accidentally given me an extra and I would pay they told me not to worry about it. Not only does that show their generosity but even each taco was generously filled with meat.
Pastor is quite tasty at this place, albeit a bit saucier compared to some other taquerias. This can make the tacos a tad soggy, but it's perfect for a satisfying burrito option. The menu offers a wide range of choices to suit different preferences. One thing you absolutely must try is their irresistible green salsa—it's a definite winner! It's worth noting that they have started charging for chips, which is a recent change.
Food was excellent! My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Mexico just last year and this is spot on authentic Mexican. They don't skimp on serving sizes at all and the dish is filled with meat rather than filler, so come hungry.
The Jamaica is PERFECT! Exactly what I've been craving actually. I've been trying it at every Mexican place in the area and this is definitely just like being in Mexico.
I tried the Super wet burrito, very good. It was beef with everything in it and hot flavor. I really recommend buying this one and give it a try. You may not make it through one sitting eating this haha. They put plenty of meat inside too which is the best part. If you ever come to fiesta Taco try this beef wet burrito, you will like it.
The owner seems to have changed. How do we know? The food from the lást time we ate has changed. I ordered enchilada and the chicken supposedly shredded but I got cubed or minced instead. They also basically forgot to make my enchilada and gave me enchilada sauce on the side which doesn't work. I also ordered chicken quesadilla. Normally the chicken is shredded too, this time the chicken is cubed or minced. I'm not sure if I like the meat this time. Will have another try to make sure we will continue to support this place.
Also chips is now behind the counter. They will ask you if you want chips. Not sure if you can ask for refill also. But the salsa bar still there.
Wonderful vegetarian options. We got Burritos, Enchiladas, Tacos and all were quite tasty even though it was vegetarian. The brunch atmosphere was relaxing with large sit-down tables. No pressure. Chips and Salsa were out of the world
