Went here right after the cattle parade down Main Street with my five-year-old grandson. The food was delicious and prepared just the way we love it. The service was very friendly. The portions were generous, as we shared delicious whole grain pancakes and an omelette topped with avocados. The coffee was very good. I definitely will go back next time I'm in town.

PRICEY BUT A DARN GOOD SANDWICH. In the heart of downtown pleasanton and with not too many great options for a good breakfast and lunch this is a great spot. i usually get my sandwiches to go so i never experience any service issues.

the breakfast here is pretty darn good i have to admit and still better than deans these days. the stuffed breakfast croissant is really good! it's a 3 egg omelet stuffed into a freshly baked croissant with cheddar cheese, ham and bacon. it's a true winner but it's still hard to beat the supreme croissant at jack in the box.

the freshly baked breads make this a great alternative to the fast food sandwich shops out there. be sure to try the garden herb, garlic basil, new york rye and the croissants. get one of these bad boys for a freshly made sandwich and you'll see what draws the crowd here. i love the chicken salad here! cashews, apples and other great goodies makes this my #1 choice followed by great versions of a san francisco reuben, roasted turkey pesto and a grilled albacore tuna steak sandwich. i stopped in today to grab some to go and had THE BEST SANDWICH i have had in years. i'm not kidding! the roasted turkey pesto was so darn great. everything tasted so fresh and this was one hell of a huge sandwich. the garlic basil bread was sliced so thick and everything was piled so high but i was definitely able to get my mouth around this bad boy. the turkey was so fresh and tender and they really give you alot. they put alot of pesto mayo on the sandwich as well but i really loved that. i asked for avocado and they basically threw an entire one on the sandwich. it came with sun chips and potato salad. the potato salad was a little on the dry side but the olives really gave it great flavor. sure the sandwich can be on the pricey side but this sandwich toady was so worth it. each and every bite was true heaven. i will definitely be getting this sandwich every time i crave a sandwich here.

stick with the specialty sandwiches and grab some to go and you will be pleased and want to come back for more.

Cute and homey. The sandwich was huge and so delicious. The bread is homemade, and made the sandwich complete. Everything tasted fresh, and hit the spot. Would recommend!

Long over-due visit ! So glad we stopped by for breakfast finally. The food was very good and felt like home-cooked food. All baking is done on-site. The owner, Mary stopped by and we chatted. She's wonderful, owned the business since 2003, worked at the place before she bought it. Just love these kind of stories of hard-working success. We shall be back.

Dynamite Rueben sandwich. So stuffed I couldn't wolf it all down and I'm not a petite eater. My friend had breakfast with eggs and chicken sausage. Her plate was loaded also. Didn't hear any complaints from her side of the table. The place itself isn't all that spacious but the great food makes up for lack of a lot of elbow room which you might need if you clean your plate!

I had the eggs benedict and my lady had the breakfast burrito. We both enjoyed our meals but neither of us felt like we loved them. The cinnamon roll we had was pretty good as well. Just being in downtown Pleasanton is usually enjoyable so the location adds to the charm which is probably what tipped my rating from three stars to four.

My favorite is the avocado melted sandwich with green chiles. I've always had great service here. They get really busy on the weekends, so you may have to wait for a table but it's worth it.

Great omelette for breakfast, nice to sit out on the street watching the world go by. Service was a little slow but they were busy, so to be expected. Will be back!
