I love this family owned restaurant and have eaten here with my family many times already. The food is great and takes about 15 to 20 minutes from order to serve at your table. The owners (husband and wife team) who work the place are both friendly and professional. My sister left her cellphone here once and didn't notice it was missing until we got home. We went back and they handed it back to her. They said they knew we'd come back for it.
Awesome place to grab a bite. This food is delicious! Perfectly seasoned never bland with great quick service. Ill never eat at another Chinese place its a good thing they are just down the street from me.
Lemon Chicken & Orange-Flavored Beef...mmm!. Great place for Chinese in Pleasanton! It's one of my 2 faves (the other one is Panda in downtown Pleasanton). I recommend their lemon chicken and orange-flavored beef...and skip the kung pao trio and cashew chicken.
THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN THE TRI VALLEY. A great choice when it comes to chinese dine in or take out in pleasanton. great portions and very consistent with the sauces and flavor. i'll take gold chopsticks over pf changs any day. i have been coming here since 1990 and i frigging fell in love then and love them now.
my favorites include the honey walnut prawns, orange flavored beef & chicken, chow fun, lemon chicken, pork chow mein, fried calamari, mandarin fried prawns and the sesame chicken. i'm pretty sure i've had everything on the menu here but those are always my go to faves!
i always get take out and at times they may forget something i order but the next time they really make it up to you in a HUGE way.
now if i could only get them to deliver to my place i'd never have to see the light of day again!! :)
Their orange-flavored beef and lemon chicken is excellent and have become my "regular" items when dining here. I wasn't as fond of their kung pao trio and cashew chicken, they were edible but forgettable. The restaurant is clean, service is wonderful and
Had the peanut butter chicken! I’m always in search of this dish and they did it wonderfully. Could use a little more sweetness but that’s just my preference and I see how some people may not want that. Spoke with the owner and his partner and they were both very kind and helpful! Huge portions - I probably could get 2-3 meals out of the peanut butter chicken/crab rangoons. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again.
I really liked the shrimp rolls because of the texture and the flavor it was really good and different from what I’ve tasted and other restaurants don’t really have shrimp rolls. The chow mein was also a really good meal to eat
There was eight of us that came in for lunch on a Sunday and I am incredibly grateful for their hands-on service and for honestly being very kind for what was a family meeting of sorts. The lady there really helped ease the tension and honestly when she asked questions and kind of prompted the conversation to stay optimistic. I truly appreciate that. The food portions at least in regards to the super huge and honestly we had more than enough food. Thank you very much for helping this family gathering be a positive one.
I had the honey walnut prawns with fried rice for lunch today and it was very yummy. It came with an egg roll and it was very crispy. Pairing it with the hot mustard or the sweet and sour was great. Overall a good experience.
Best Chinese restaurant in town! Great food and I think I have tried almost everything on the menu. We make a trip to Gold Chopsticks almost every week to enjoy the food and great service. Love these people and their food.
I only like 2 Chinese restaurants in Pleasanton and this one is tied with the other one!
Never been here even though I've been here for years but decided to try it out and it did not disappoint.
The fried rice had a nice smokey flavor to it, the chow mein was delicious really liked the hot and sour soup and the orange chicken too!
Will have to come back to try more items!

Food was excellent by far. They need more staff at dinner time but other than that I would highly recommend for some good Chinese food 😋
