We had fish and chips and sliders. They were both very good. So much food. Had no room for dessert. The restaurant has a lot of charm and a great view. Would recommend it to anyone. Great place to eat.
Great service and unique food ideas. The Reuben Spring Roll was delicious! Neat spin on how the Shepherd’s Pie is prepared, in a pastry crust! The chicken wings were incredible, big and juicy, with delicious sauces. Huge piece of fish in the Fish & Chips entree. Great view of the St. John’s River which is also a plus.
Fion MacCools Pub & Restaurant is a real great place! Our experience was excellent in every way - great menu selection, authentic decor, nostalgic atmosphere - awesome service with great food and drinks. Quite possibly the best restaurant Ive ever been to!!
The food was absolutely kick ass!!!! Had the fish n chips drench in malt vinegar and the Guinness beef stew!!! Shout out to our waiter Anthony who made this experience amazing!! Will def be going back!!!!
Let me start with it's at the Jacksonville Landing and parking is an absolute bear! Once you get past that this place is amazing!
The restaurant has a great view of the river and we even got to see the bridge go up and down.
The food was excellent, but skip the standard stuff like fish and chips and go for the good stuff like the shepherd's pie. It's a little more expensive but 100% worth it. Also their portions are big. My husband and I could have gotten the shepherd's pie (which is served as two individual stuffed pastries) and an app and we still would have been stuffed. In short, it was great and we certainly will do it again.
Friendly staff and great food. Unique menu items and huge beer selection
The staff was very friendly and prompt the food was decadent and the beer was delicious I give this place 10 stars
Very fun place great views of the river. Friendly staff, good food, cold beer!
Great Irish Nachos and cold beer!! Will be back for some Irish stew or Shepard’s pie. Clean and the service was point on.
We went to the new Nocatee location on Friday..1st day open...terrific service, friendly & efficient staff. Fish & chip were amazing as well as all the other 6 meals that were ordered...so great, we went back today for lunch and a couple of Irish brews..:)
Dallas and I enjoyed the place, the food, and listened to someone playing music. And the employees were great. We would be glad to come back.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Great atmosphere, good food, better people! A must if you've never been.. your first time will not be your last!
Amazing place to eat! We try to eat here every time we're in Jacksonville. I tried the fish and chips for the first time, and it was so delicious!
We loved the food, atmosphere, and view!We especially enjoyed getting to know Kristin and Justin!! We had the chicken nachos and split a hamburger w/ French fries.
We made reservations to go here and we were not disappointed! Neither one of us have ever been here before so it was a nice experience for us both. The server, Jodee, was helpful in making our decisions for our meal and she was very professional and knowledgeable.. the food was delicious and plentiful.. The whiskey Cake was to die for! We got as the appetizers the Rubens spring roll and the scotch egg, for the entrees we got the steak boxty and the fish and chips.. and of course for dessert the whiskey cake.. We recommend trying any of these.. We are already thinking of our next selections for when we go back!
Holiest if fun days happened at Fionn MacCools Irish Pub! So much fun. We had cold green beers flowing, breakfast mimosas being shot, car bombs being dropped and lots of delicious food. Live music was played all day and Celtic dancers in the evening. So many festive patrons, so many. Staff was on point. Great job! Thank you for all the fun gratis given out through the day.
We snacked on pretzels and beer cheese followed by Ruben rolls that you dipped in thousand island sauces. Fish and chips was out of this world! Portion of fish was huge! Ruben was incredible as was the Rebecca(turkey Ruben) banger and mash was a hit as well as Shepard pie. Y’all have to try this favorite.
The food and service are outstanding! Justine is terrific. The fish and chips were delicious. And I definitely recommend it.
We are for sure coming back and World Cup showings will be here for us too.
3 of us went in today for a casual lunch & a couple beers.
I am 100% going back.
Beautiful and clean restaurant, amazing food, cold fresh draft beer.
The highlight was the service. Katie (hope that's correct) was friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive to the point when we needed anything she was there but not intrusive at all. She even made us a reservation on the spot for a few evenings from now.
The Full Irish breakfast was great! My eggs were overcooked, but not enough to complain about.
The largest portion of Fish & Chips I've seen. The bite I took was crispy and light and cooked beautifully.
The first of many visits to come. Compliments to the chef and to Katie.
Phenomenal fish and chips, great piece of fish, please do not change.
Also large whiskey and bourbon menu 🙌
Great atmosphere. All the food was perfectly cooked with great taste. One of the best prime ribs, clubs and hamburgers we have had. Very friendly and attentive employees. Great place to go - and then go back!
Addison was our Waitress and she was very friendly and attentive! This was the first time the family and I ate here and I guarantee we will be back! My daughter is picky and said this is her new favorite place! We had the Reuben spring rolls as an appetizer and they disappeared quick like! I had the Bangers & Mash and the Wife and Daughter had the French Dip. We all enjoyed the food tremendously and I’m waiting for the dessert to come! I highly recommend! Sorry no pics, we were all very hungry and had to dig right in 🤣
Update…DO NOT SKIP THE WHISKEY CAKE FOR DESSERT!! Unbelievable!!
