The food is good, the buffet is fairly good, and the employees are nice. Have not had a bad experience with any employee.
The parking lot has a weird layout, and it's not very big.
The only thing is, this is in an old location, so the ceiling looks a little rough along with the restrooms. If I could rate the restrooms, I would give them 2 stars out of 5.
The food was great! Been trying to catch the dinner buffet and finally scored the opportunity. The only thing food wise that I could suggest a change to, would be to have some soft corn/ flour tortillas in a warmer nearby. The decor could use a refresher... very dated and plain and dark. But overall enjoyed our visit. Thank you!!!
The best tacos al pastor around! The service is always outstanding and the menu priced very reasonably. Best margaritas ever. Our favorite Mexican restaurant hands down.

Ok so... this place.... legendary. 10/10 will eat here forever. The cheese dip, downright spectacular. The taquitos. Perfection. The taco salad, superb the tamales and tacos were to die for. I just found my new favorite restaraunt.
12/9/20 update: again, on my way home... I did stop on my way down in early November as well.
Tamales are so good! Love them Naked (sauce on the side)... It was nice to see V again, she is the nicest & she remembers me ❤️ I feel like a local.
8/12/20 update: stopped in on my way North. Had the tamales, so good. Still clean and nice inside. Hostess V. Was wearing an official El Potro mask, I want one too 😉 upgraded to 5 stars for consistency over 4 visits.
A good spot just off i-95. Had the lunch buffet, it was good. I'll stop again and try the traditional Mexican dishes. Friendly staff too.
The place I love!
I went to many Mexican restaurants once in Pooler and Savannah and visited the other twice because the staff was pretty. But I've only visited this place about five times.
Both the menu and the buffet are very delicious. Among them, Orchada is my favorite drink in this place. I want to come here often before I go back to Korea

The food was great. The store was mostly clean. The service was GREAT. The staff was attentive. The buffett was good. The keep the food coming out.
The loss of the star is for the bathroom being dirty and the food bar has no labels. We thought we were eating fujita chicken. But it was miked with Chorizo. Pork. We don't eat pork. So a label would have helped.
My husband and I love the Sunday buffet. If you don't find anything to your liking, then you really aren't hungry. Sounds boring, but I love their rice and taco salads. Covered and smothered with all the things I love.

My wife and I love coming here. She gets the King quesadilla and I usually do the buffet.

This restaurant has a buffet. Something you don't often see at a mexican restaurant. Great food and friendly people. I will stop again if I get the chance.
This is one of those restaurants that you might just drive past if you didn't know it or if no one mentioned it to you. I'm mentioning it. The food was great. Nothing else needs to be said. If you're close, go and eat.
I came here with my parents and we enjoyed the buffet. The meats are well cooked and the staff are so sweet. Most of the food tasted really good. I recommend their horchata. It is so yummy and sweet. Does not have that sandy texture, so it is smooth and refreshing to drink!

Staff was nice, food was great. Being from Texas I wanted good texmex. This place was exactly what I was looking for. It is not a fancy place but was clean!!!! Intend on going back to try the Buffett
This time, I stayed away from anything in the menu that was spicy. I ordered the Veracruz- tender, juicy filets of chicken breast topped with sautéed garlic shrimp and onions. It was served with beans, rice, corn tortillas, and a salad. The Husband had enchiladas topped with a generous serving of beef chunks, tomatoes, and onions. He declared it delicious, and his clean plate was proof. My food was also delicious, but I was stuffed and had leftovers. As usual, we were served warm and crispy tortilla chips with salsa. The horchata was creamy and delicious.
Overall, we had a nice visit. The service was a bit slow, but it was a busy night. It would be nice if management would consider installing brighter lighting. Last, but not least, a deep cleaning (food debris on the walls, dirty blinds), would really enhance the dining experience.
Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is hot and delicious.
It was not too bad for being a buffet. The food was fresh and the employees were very attentive of keeping it stocked. The spicy section was enough to catch me by surprise.
