One of my favorite places for the bento box lunch specials. You get a lot of food and the prices are great. Used to work locally, but now continue to order from home as well. Food is always fresh, rolls are great, sauces are on point. The Chinese food is fantastic too. Hopefully a place that I can keep returning to for a long time. The staff is mostly friendly and accommodating as well.
Excellent in every way! The menu is extensive and offers not only traditional Chinese, but Japanese and even Thai selections. The sushi and sashimi is fantastic and the service is exceptional. The very best in the Port Jefferson area!

The food is really good. The sushi is to die for and always fresh. However, the place is extremely outdated and lacks decor! It would be nice if they fixed up the place. Customers sometimes associated a clean stylish place with quality of food,so some people may pass just because of the appearance. I really don't know what the table service is like because I only have done take out. But I have never had a problem.
incredible place. they have a wide variety of specialty rolls. the fish is always fresh. not to mention, their customer service is marvelous. their waitresses are always very respectful to customers. ultimately, the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend a place like this to my friends and family
This place is undoubtably a five star restaurant. The food I've been eating there is simply incredible it's the best tasting Chinese food I've ever tasted in my entire life. Now I switched to vegetarianism and I realized that the Chinese are able to supplement any meat platter with tofu. Folks they have the best tofu in Port Jefferson. The quality of their food is the quality of an actual upclass restaurant. They are extremely intelligent and kind people. plus they have The legendary sushi bar.
Good food!!! Expensive though, I spent $15 on a combo dish. Boneless ribs..... it's not their fault for being expensive, they NEED to make money and inflation is beating us all down... again great food !!!! They have Pad Tai !!!!!!! I recommend you give this place a try!! 👍

I often go at lunchtime for a quiet, quick sit-down meal. Always great service. Always consistently good food. I've ordered sushi and hot food and I am always pleased. Good delivery service too when I can't get out of the office
I can't believe the other reviewers are referring to Ichiban (in the Port Jeff Station Post Office shopping center)!! For a small, strip-mall restaurant, the sushi is always fresh and of high quality, and the people there have always been friendly. There are two or three that are always there, and the other wait staff seem to change a lot, but I have never had a problem with any of them. Any miscues are always rectified with so many apologies that it becomes embarrassing...The food is terrific - I especially come for the sushi which, as I wrote, is always excellent...I suppose people usually on write reviews when they have a bad experience. In that case, three bad, out of all the people on this site, is pretty good!
The greatest restaurant on earth. Ill tell you why. They have tofu that is so delicious that you will think it is a staple of your diet. The staff are the nicest and the prices are the most reasonable. Thank you Ichiban!
