For years Gio's has been making the most beautiful and delicious fondant cakes for family birthdays. They are over the top beautiful!!! Love them.💗💗💗
What a super staff at this darling restaurant. We went basically for sandwiches- which were excellent, made room for gelato - awesome, and even saw an amazing cake they had just created for a customer. If you are in Pt Jervis, be sure to make time to visit the Erie Turntable, drive up Hawks Nest, take an amazing factory your at Gillinder's Glass, just around the corner, climb High Tower, or visit local waterfalls such as Dingman's, Silver Thread, or Raymondskill Falls. Grab a sandwich at Gio's before you go, and stop for Gelato and pastry on the way back - a perfect day!
I would highly recommend Gios. They did an amazing job on our wedding cake. Very friendly and accommodating. The cake was delicious and exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much Chrissy for making our special day extra special!

Whenever I’m in the area I stop by Gino’s love their soup and 1/2 sandwich I’m not a big eater so this is perfect for me love their cookies and I always make sure to bring some home

Great Friendly Cafe!! We stopped in today for lunch a cup of Tomato Bisque (Love It) and 1/2 a Roast Beef w/ Porta Bella Mushroom Panini (Delicious) Could not leave without Pumpkin Cupcakes salted carmel icing (to die for) and 2 lbs of cookies to share (sharing is caring) with a wonderful group of friends tonight!!

Absolutely fantastic bakery. Krissy is so talented, she makes incredible, delicious cakes. Our family has enjoyed more than 12 cakes. 5 stars isn't enough.
The Cranberry Turkey sandwiches are awesome haven't yet tasted the cookies I bought but I expect they'll be just as good! :)

We ordered 2 different cakes from them and both tasted and looked amazing. The raspberry mousse filling with chocolate cake and chocolate buttercream was a great combination and recently our son's vanilla cake and buttercream with lemon cream filling was amazing. My son just turned one and I ordered a cake in a Winnie the Pooh theme and I was not disappointed. It was more than I expected and was hands down the best birthday cake I ever bought for my money. The decorations and flavor was excellent. The baker really knows what she is doing and you can tell loves what she does. I had so many people asking me where I got the cake. And I happily told them. My only criticism is I wish the list of cake flavors and fillings and icings were available on the website as sometimes it's hard to place an order with other staff members over the phone who may not be well versed in the baking section and certain things are extra which is understandable but not all staff seem to know what costs more sometimes. So be sure to ask. With that said just be sure you talk to the baker when she is in or go into the bakery for more details like that you need to make decisions about the cake you want. I couldn't be happier with what I've ordered from them and plan to do so again for my own Birthday in July. :)

Sooooo I usually give a what should be a 5 star place 2 attempts to nail it before writing a review.
The food is fresh, does taste excellent and is well prepared. Exceptional customer service makes this place a gem. However, there are a few things that could use fixing. Both times I ever ordered and received a burger from here.... it always stuck to the lid. Also never got the pickle that is listed to come with it. Everybody knows deli pickles are usually boss. Never got to try it though. Check out the photos of how the burger came. It's the 1 qualm I have that occurred on both a delivery and a pick up.
Other than that. It's grade A.

Definitely recommend Gio’s - we worked with Krissy who made our wedding cake. She was absolutely lovely and super sweet. We had our cake tasting with her back in June and it was so much fun and everything we tasted was just AMAZING. It was honestly so hard to choose a flavor but we ended up ordering a 4 tiered wedding cake and the guests absolutely raved about the cake and how delicious it was. The cake was absolutely beautiful, didn't even want to cut it! 😍 Very happy with the outcome!
Hands down the best Bakery thus far. Baked fresh everyday. Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Worth the 2 hr drive.
