Very friendly owner. Walked right in and he welcomed us like we were family. Monster movie playing in the background and Al answered any questions that we might have about the place. Little piece of history right here in Florida. Thanks for a great visit.

The second we stepped foot in this bar we were instantly welcomed and felt at home. Got awesome details having to do with Aileen wuornos and everyone was happy to share stories. Great live guitar player/singer, fun biker vibes, friendly folks and rad atmosphere. Highly recommend visiting as i will again in the near future.

Great local legend right off the Main Street. Margaritas and vodka tonics? Fuck right off. This is a beer bar and proud of it. Wine is also available. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Check out the back patio for the real action.

Five star dive bar! Thanks Al and Joanie for the killer history lesson and great friendly service! I felt right at home and comfortable. I'd be there all the time if I didn't live 1500 miles away. I will be back though.

The people here are so cool. Wish i had the chance to talk to the owner who knew aileen, but he was kinda busy. He still lets people in need stay out back in campers which I thought was pretty cool. Stuff is everywhere. I really loved it.

Really cool biker bar with lots to see. Owner has an eye for collecting very unique items and was very friendly. Also was a film site for the movie Monster starring Charlize Theron as Aileen Wurnos. This was a spot that was frequently visited by Aileen in real life and the is lots of memorabilia here to see. Being respectful when here would be wise. This is where Aileen had her last beer before being arrested for the murders of many Florida men.

This place is a MUST STOP. Al, the owner and Ell were awesome to chat with. I ended up being the only one there as they were gonna close. Beer was $3 and cold. There were 1000 cool things to check out and look at! Ell gave a great tour and explained the history of the place and the history about Aileen Wournos. The caskets and Ghostbusters car were a nice touch! When crowded I can only imagine how awesome. Check it out! Not easily forgotten!!!

The Last Resort is famous because of Aileen Wuornos, but it's the epitome of a good old dive bar. There's stuff everywhere. Not an inch of wall space or floor space to be had. The owner will try and sell you a shirt or a hoodie. Hes a nice guy though. If you are in the area, and have seen the movie Monster, you should stop in. Its definitely unique.

If you're in Daytona, add this to your list as a must stop. Friendly patrons and bartenders. Don't come here if you're looking for umbrellas and cherries in your drink. They have beer, beer, and more beer. This bar has a historic reputation you canlook up for yourself. Thank you Al and L for the tour and history lesson.

I am always looking for unusual places to visit. The bar was not open at the time that we were there; however one nice employee told us that we could look around. It is a quick stop and it looks like it is really popular in the biker's world. I wish I could had taken a pic holding a bottle of their "Crazed Killer Hot Sauce."
