The Crazy Norwegian's Fish & Chips - Port Orford - Photo album

We stopped at Crazy Norwegian after a morning of driving the coast. We split a chowder and a fish fry. The chowder was fantastic but a little lacking on crab 4/5. The fish fry was amazing. They split the plates for us and actually shocked at how much food we got. Homemade tartar sauce FTW 5/5 Por
Fun place to eat outside when the weather is nice. The fish was good and I enjoyed the fried clam strips. They both were hot and crispy. The pasta salads was okay, but the coleslaw was great - more of a pickled slaw.
Fish and Chips and homemade pie! What more could you ask for?!? Lots of other menu options, but come here for the fish and chips - light battery crisp outside with an incredibly moist inside! Tartar sauce and malted vinegar make the 4 pieces perfect! I had the coconut crème pie, which was perfectly
We stopped in on a weekday afternoon. The fish and shrimp meals we had were delicious. The wait staff was super helpful. Meals were divided for sharing with no extra charge. Good beer, too!
Let me start off by saying Amy, is an amazing young lady. She was upbeat and knowledgeable. (Amy is the type of employee you want to represent your company/business). Amy your an amazing embassador for your boss. Your attitude and personality is what this world needs more of keep up the good wor
These are the best fish and chips I have ever had. Service was great also. The place is small, so make sure you get there when they open if you want to sit inside for lunch. They do have outside seating. It was so good. I forgot to take a picture before I started eating.
My husband says " it was the best fish sandwich I can remember - fresh, crisp, and flavourful." My fish and chips - perfect. As an aside, the tartar sauce that came was okay, but didn't enhance the fish and was a disappointment.. I prefer a traditional tartar sauce, and having a choice of th
Excellent food and wonderful customer service. The owner served us today and it was a special treat to hear some of this history of place. Happy to support a local small business! We always plan our trip around having a meal here when we are in the area.
We had lunch here based on the very nice reviews. I have to say they're very delicious! Although there are many fish and chips places along the OR coast, this one is quite good. We were seated but waited a while to get our food. There are A LOT of to-go orders so prepare to wait if you come at peak
Absolutely delicious! I got the fish and chips mini, with 6 single oysters. The oysters were cooked perfectly and were fresh! I loved the dijon mustard sauce as well. The fish was cooked good, fresh, but could maybe use a bit more seasoning. Tots & fries are perfectly crispy. Homemade ranch and tart
A great find! The fish & chips were good but the pasta salad stole the show. The best pasta salad I’ve had and a must try. The chowder was great and the mixed berry pie was delicious.
The Fish and Chips were delicious and perfectly cooked. The shrimp was exceptionally fresh, the best I've had in years! Their cranberry chocolate cream pie with a hint of tartness, was unique and flavorful making me long to return. Too bad we live 9 hours away or it would be a frequent destination.
Service was great. Everyone was very fun to talk with. The food was really good and they were able to point me to gluten-free menu items.
Restaurant is small, has outdoor seating as well. The atmosphere is wonderful, the wait person was just as friendly as could be, balancing the restaurant customers with the amazing firefighters, (currently fighting a nearby forest fire), who also showed up while we were there- all handled with effic
The chaotic wait was worth it! We got here at 6pm, all inside tables were full with a little wait, we decided to order from the window and eat outside. Great menu to choose from and a good kids menu too so everyone in your party should fine something delicious. Food came out in about 20 minutes, giv
Amazing quality of seafood. My family love their traditional fish & chips platter as well as the combo (juiciest fried oysters)platter. Please order their clam chowder and you will thank me for recommending. The staff are efficient and friendly. Their prices are decent too.
Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the mood for no frills absolutely tasty seafood. Hands down the best tartar sauce I've ever tasted. Small dine-in area but should be easy to get a table if a small group, as a couple we were seated right away. Good amount of local beers.
A busy place for sure! But now I know why! Everything was delicious. Especially the fish tacos! I would recommend taking your order to go because the inside is quite small but has plenty of outdoor seating for takeout orders. Would definitely recommend for lunch!
