Seeing as I’ve been too the Middle East and I’m a food lover I had review this place. First lest start with the hummus and lamb. Well how was it you ask? Hands down the best hummus I have ever had and the lamb with it was the perfect topping. We had a gyro sandwich and I must say it’s the best gyro meat I’ve had in quite some time, it was full of flavor. Now onto the tabouli, this is the first time I’ve ever had this and I must say when paired with the hummus it’s amazing and again you can tell all the ingredients are super fresh. If you’re looking for good middle eastern cuisine this should be your ONLY stop in the Kalamazoo/ portage area. The service was awesome and the ladies there were super helpful with the menu and extremely nice.

Absolutely love this place. They offer gluten, corn and dairy free options. The food is delicious and authentic. The vegetarian grape leaves and chicken kabobs are my favorite. The staff and owners are really nice and welcoming. I will return over and over ❤️

What a wonderful experience! I drive past this place all the time, and never thought to stop. The owner and staff are great company. The food was outstanding! I cannot wait to go back! We tried a little bit of everything so I could get the whole experience. Lentil and moroccan soup, grape leaves, fattoush, Bab's Combo for 1 (chicken kafta, shish tawook, shish kafta, falafel and grape leaves) and Bab's Platter (chicken shawarma, gyro, tabbouli, fried kibbee, falafel and grape leaves).

I’ve been here twice now. The first I dined in, the second I ordered to go. Both times were nothing less than stellar. The people were extremely kind and welcoming. The food was among the best Mediterranean food I’ve had anywhere. The hummus is extremely rich and flavorful. The falafel was very light, crispy and delicious. All the meats I’ve had from here are well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Highly recommended!

Just had lunch here with my wife. Food was delicious (as was the Turkish coffee, though those who don't like coffee ground soot might find it a little strong). Service was fast and the atmosphere was very chill. I'll definitely be coming back for dinner some other time!

Definitely the best Arab restaurant around here, and it might even be my favorite restaurant in the Kalamazoo area. The staff were very friendly and quick. The food is superb. I've been to the Middle East and it is on par with if not better than the food I had there. The entrees are a bit pricey, but the sandwiches are affordable, quite large, and plenty filling.

We ordered several items to try a variety of foods, and everything was delicious. The Lebanese salad was crisp, fresh, and tangy; the lentil soup was deliciously warming and seasoned to perfection; the veggie grape leaves made me realize I have never had real homemade grape leaves before; and the lamb was tender and flavorful. Our server was welcoming and prompt, and the restaurant itself — restrooms included — was spotless. It was our first time here, but it certainly won’t be our last!

A group of 6 of us showed up for lunch. The sandwiches they offer are amazing. We all got a few different kinds and all were very good. Also for the price at under $8 for most is nice on the wallet. Kids meals were huge too. Enough for 2 meals. Definitely a nice place for a great lunch.
