We were looking for a place to eat with outdoor seating on a Wednesday evening. We had never been to Shenanigans so we called ahead to see if there was seating on the patio. The woman we spoke to (Roxanne) told us they WERE going to close early because it was unusually slow, but since we were a family of 5 with 3 little ones they would stay open. When we pulled up, we were hesitant at first because we were the only people there, but we were pretty quickly put at ease. The food was great. Roxanne was friendly and attentive even though she was basically closing up by herself. I honestly didn’t understand why it wasn’t busier, but I’m grateful for it—my kids insisted on running around the patio. After talking to Roxanne and reading some of the negative reviews, I’m thinking the slowness is due to the current nationwide labor shortage and the competition across the street. The place deserves more business than it got tonight IMO.
If great food and atmosphere is what you are looking for, this is the place. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was amazing. It had a nice char on the bun and the burger was cooked to perfection. Tish, my waitress, was sweet and made me feel like I was special. I travel a lot for work and it's nice to know a place I can go to for good food and conversation, not to mention their covered patio for the beautiful sunny days. Thank you Tish and Shenanigans. I can't wait to come through again!
Not too busy, the bartender Roxxane is a joy to chat with.
I had the turkey bacon wrap, which was delicious.
Enjoyed an awsome evening with some friends. Our waitress/bartender was a superstar. She was very attentive, helpful, and curious. I am sorry I can't remember her name....possibly Ashley. I enjoyed the Shenanigans burger very much. I am looking forward to my next visit.
