We often carry out from Jack's and the food is always fresh and delicious. The wings are big and delicious with many dipping options. We had the pizza tonight and it was the best pizza we've had in a long time. The thin crust was perfectly crispy and we enjoyed the square cut. The toppings were fresh and plentiful (sausage was my favorite). The blend of spices, sauce, and cheese really made this pie delicious. The staff is friendly and the service is great. We love this place! Thank you and great job!
Our server Cait was right on the ball. The food was excellent everything we tasted was exceptional, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have a good meal in Portage. We will definitely be back thanks for the great service and the great food!!!!

Yes I’m biased. Yes I regularly frequent Jack’s Tap. What strikes me most about Jacks is the cleanliness of the bar and the friendly atmosphere that exists there amongst it’s staff. I never feel that I’m walking into a place that skimps on the cleaning duties and I’m always greeted with a smile from whoever is tending bar...even those staff members that may disagree with my personal professional sports team alliances. Keep up the good work everyone! Always a hoot.

Just had take out for the first time tonight. The fish dinners were wonderful, large portions. Our son liked his Jack'd Up burger & fries & the deep fried pickles were delicious! We will definitely be back.
On September 16, the class of 1975 had a reunion here. They had the back deck set up with tables/chairs, under tents. A wait person was making sure we all had plenty of food/drinks. Had a great time, would highly recommend for any get together.

We live closer to the downtown bars, so do not venture out to other bars....glad we ventured to Jack's Tap! The bartender Lisa was very nice! & I think the pizza here is now my favorite pizza! Delicious!

Date night with the hubby. Pizza and beer couldn't ask for a better night. Ran into alot of people we knew too. Clean place and very friendly staff. Great bar food menu. Specials during the week. Thinking we would love to try fish fry some friday night. Will tell others and we will be back for sure.
Awsome old fashions, bartender and staff were great! Baked fish with drawn butter was marvelous, cheesy potatoes could have been a little thicker but was very tasty, we'll be back and recommend to others.
Fist time there as an out-of-towner. Everyone one friendly, the food was good, and the beer was cold. Pretty nice place actually. I'd definitely go there again if back in town.
Food was good and had a lot of beer on tap! We played a few of the slot machines there a won as well. It was just the beginning of our week long trip passing through to get to Sheboygan. It was a good rest stop to regroup and get food in us!

I ordered the fish fry for me and my wife last night, bluegill and perch carry out. I remembered a story incorrectly so I thought my wife liked bluegill. I was wrong, very wrong.
I called back and placed an order for Cod to pick up to fix my screw up. I was explaining why I was back when I picked up my order the second time, and they ended up recognizing me. They were nice enough to cover the cost for this when I was fully prepared to pay.
My wife was very happy and liked the cod quite a bit. I ended up eating the bluegill and perch. Turns out I don’t like them either, but I don’t think that it’s because of the bar.
Will definitely come back for fish fry again the cod was really good. Service was great even when busy as I assume all fish fry restaurants are.
