Best coffee in Portland!!!! And amazing people!
I had some Cold Brew tonight, while eating at Fins in Port Aransas. It was the best cold brew I've ever had. My wife, who strongly dislikes coffee, even enjoyed it!
Best brewed coffee ever! The coffee is addictive !!
Try the cold brew and you'll love it!!
I tried Harbor City Coffee a couple months ago and was intrigued. Curious. What is this? Bottled concentrate cold brew coffee? Is it even going to be good? It was DELICIOUS. Life-giving nectar of the gods. My home coffee maker has sat unused, gathering dust ever since. When I wandered into the HEB in Portland (not to buy coffee grounds, that doesn't happen anymore), I found that the coffee shop in the lobby, Bloom, brews with only harbor city beans. I didn't think it could get any better. Their Bloom iced latte proved me wrong. Did it end there?! NO. I FOUND OUT MACDADDY'S IN PORT ARANSAS SERVES THEIR COLD BREW ON TAP. NITRO. My mind has been blown too many times in such a short period of time, I'm not sure if I'll recover. The cold brew on tap was the kicker. I'm still not sure if it was coffee or some creamy, chocolatey, youth-giving serum. It's been 48 hours and still all I see is rainbows and unicorns. Keep doin what you're doin.
Searched for a place for bagel and coffee while house hunting in the area and Bloom City popped up!! Staff was great and coffee and bagel were too. Look forward to many more visits here once we move!!
Decent roast on the beans here, with top notch service.
My wife's latte was good and my black drip was excellent.
Great coffee shop with excellent service. Atmosphere is welcoming and good for working
Stopped in on our drive home from Corpus Christi. Happy to find a coffee shop that isn't a Starbucks. They have a beautiful space, quick and friendly service, delicious coffees, and yummy breakfast sandwiches.
Great place for coffee and breakfast! Very friendly staff and quick service.
Will definitely stop here again when visiting
Wifey and I have been here numerous times and whatever we get is always great. This time I scored a fat chocolate chip cookie on steroids, a nice black t shirt that told me to always drink good coffee....so I did, a couple blended frozen thingys filled that need nicely.....can't remember exactly what kind 'cause I was walking around taking pics while my better half used her frappe expertise to hook us up wit' drink nirvana....they're always good here. I picked up a bag of guatemala beans, tasty.
Highly recommend stopping by. Located inside the Fresh Food entrance of HEB, this place offers a surprisingly large variety of tasty coffees and a very eager, friendly staff who went above and beyond to find the right coffee for me. Fast and friendly service. One of the best parts was they offered half-sweet and the flavor still popped through! Enjoyed their peanut butter bites and raspberry mocha.
Major pro: The staff seemed to really take pride in their products and were happy to chat about them when asked.
The only thing that I dinged one star for is the location. You can't glance at the main image, web page, or Google description and quickly or easily know where to go. I've never been to this area, so, as a traveler, it took a bit of looking around and reading other reviews to find it, which might be frustrating if you're in a hurry.
Beautiful place wonderful employees fast friendly courteous and great coffee couldn't ask for anything any better
The space is impressive and comfortable. The service was good, not enthusiastic, but good (so far). They have internet which is great. I don't think they are ever packed, like is typical in New York City, but I think a lot of people visit. So you most likely can find seating.
Their food is intriguingly pricey for the size provided. I however can say that the scone, although a little bigger than the size of a triangle shortbread cookie, was delicious. It wasn't doughy. They had a cookie that was a little over 4 dollars and the size wasn't spectacular. So unless they are gourmet, I don't get it 🤷🏾♀️. Next time I will go earlier, since not much was left when I went, so they clearly have a strong market, and regulars as well.
Their interior setup is quite pleasant, and the tea although pricey was really good. Will I go back? At this moment, I say yes.
I met some friends for coffee here. The location is listed as inside a laundry place. But it’s just inside a small strip mall. It has its own entry and does not “share space”. We all ordered different drinks. Everyone seemed please. My only complaint is that it’s not a place to go if your in a hurry. It was slow for each drink to come out. My cappuccino was tasty.
Delicious Vanilla Cold Brew and cute location! I'm not often in the Portland area, but I will stop by whenever I am in the vicinity.
Visited twice with friends, great service they're super friendly. The food is delicious, we tried an apple muffin and a ham cheese croissant. Yummy chai latte. Will be back!
Friendly staff. Good coffee with a slightly bitter after taste. Alternate milks available. There's a drive up as well as indoor seating.
Great little coffee shop. You need to try the nitro brew coffee. The atmosphere is great, the owners are great. I will definitely return to get me some great coffee
I'm obsessed. Veteran owned business that turned me away from Starbucks. They have good food and always good service. Reasonable prices along with a incentive program for 9 coffee= free one or 25% bag of coffee beans and honors active duty and veteran with 10% discount. The food and beverages are yet to disappoint.
I ordered a "Wide Eye" by mistake thinking it was a quad shot of espresso. The barista was very kind, was empathetic and offered to remake a quad shot for me. Thanks for the exceptional service.
