So amazing, the staff was great and on top of everything. Was at one point overflowing with meat! My own fault I felt sick cause I ate to damn much! Highly recommend this place for date night or anniversary!

Our first dinner here the other night was wonderful! My wife’s and my only other Brazilian steak house was at Texas de Brazille in Las Vegas which was good, but not as good as Fogo de Chão. Fogo de Chão’s cuts of meat were wonderfully tender and tasty, and not as salty. The appetizers were delicious as was the desert. Another plus was the convenient valet parking which was covered and you entered the side of the restaurant from the garage itself, making this a wonderful place to come no matter the weather.
We’ll make this a regular nice dinner destination, for sure!

We went for dinner on Friday June 29th. We had an amazing time. The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely wonderful. We would recommend this place to anyone.
We've been to Fogo de chão in different locations and the experience is always very pleasant. Fogo de chão Portland was one of those times. Coming in hungry and leaving with a big smile. The staff specially Andre and "Ceará" were great, very knowledgeable of their menu as well of the city.
Alex the manager, provided us as expected a great experience receiving us and later checking on our table throught the lunch!
Definitely recommend it. The Market table is always fresh, and the servers bring to your table a rotation of juicy, tender, perfect steak and a variety of other meats. 2 thumbs up!
Alex was awesome, and the service was the best. I always enjoy the food, great quality and the atmosphere is amazing. My favorites are the filet mignon and the arrachera, but everything is so good and tasty. This is highly recommended, and one of my favorite places to eat in Portland ����

Great salad bar. I came for dining month in March and got a deal for dinner. They had all you can eat prosciutto and lox at the salad bar. The steak was good and the cheese pop overs were irresistible. $8 valet parking is an option.
High expectations and not disappointed. Kind of a high-scale buffet where you circle the side bar for veggies, cheeses, soup and other assorted goodies. Then the servers come circling around the table with various meats - variety of steak, chicken, pork, and lamb.
Overall, very good service and food. And wasn't as high in price as I thought it would be. Quite reasonable for all that you get.
If your familiar with these type of restaurants (green card-red card) Fogo de Chao should not disappoint. Eaters with very light appetites or Vegans get the salad bar. Reservation recommended. We were here on a Fri night and other than being seated near the waiter plate station the overall experience was great. The overall meat was very good and tasty. Different types of steak, chicken, lamb, pork and prime steak. Service was very good. We had the full deal meal plan. Salad bar, drinks, meat, dessert (we split), meat, tip and meat. Total for two $200.00! If you know fine dining not bad really. If you don't drink deduct maybe $30-$40. So we will return.
So why a 4.0 and not a 4.5-5.0. Our table location (I could have asked to be reseated not that big of deal really) and the restaurant was a bit loud. Plus if you get a 5.0 there is no room for improvement. Try it you will not be disappointed.
Awesome! Highly recommend it. Great salad bar and choice cuts of meat. Very friendly and helpful staff. Laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely will be back. Great fun with a large party.
Everything is good. You have the control of the amount of food that you are having with almost no leftovers. The method of serving was new to me. They have this cards on the tables, and I was surprised to see the waiters bringing food while you have your card on its green side. The restaurant is definitely one of the top ones in Portland. I will absolutely recommend it to my friends.
Meatfest. The bar and dining room are beautiful, with plenty of room between tables. Every person from the hostess to the bar tender to the waitstaff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Any random employee I flagged down to ask "what's that?" knew what it was. Our server came over multiple times to make sure we had what we needed plus all other waitstaff were available. The cold buffet has a nice selection of fresh sides including cured salmon and sliced meats and cheeses, grilled veggies and the like. And the meat: it's hot and fresh and if a cut is not to your liking they will go back bring you another, eg filet mignon that is rare. I ate about 3 plates of fried bananas. I preferred the roast meat cuts as the skewered morsels tended to be a bit more done than I like. A very good experience for the price.
First we all should know the drill, green when you want more, red to stop. This is high end so you pay more. I judge these spots by how often the good cuts if meat walk by the table. Here the good cuts are constantly coming by. And the good cuts are amazing. Meat temps spot on, I love med rare and when I asked they delivered. Salad bar is huge with lots of high end choices. Great selection of cheese. Wait staff were very attentive and enjoyable to talk with. We will be back.
Dieters beware. This pricey Brazilian restaurant is a high end buffet at your table. You start at the fabulous salad bar, with deliciously prepared eggplant, tomatoes, mushrooms, asparagus, fresh mozzarella, and much more, including 3 types of salad greens. When you are ready for meat, you turn your red card over to the green side, and waiters will stop by your table with all kinds of meat -- flank steak, filet mignon, lamb chops, chicken, pork, all kinds of preparations. You take the ones you want, and no worries about getting something you don't like -- they whisk away your plate and replace it with a fresh one quite frequently. It is very easy to lose track of how much you have eaten! Service is outstanding, though I thought some of the meat preparations were a little bland -- but they are supposedly authentic recipes, so it might be the way Brazilians like it? The spacious interior is beautifully decorated, so it seems like a missed opportunity that the restrooms are so poor -- there is only one restroom for each gender, so if you want to go, you stand in the cramped hallway and wait in line.
Best restaurant in Portland for carnivores.. While it is a bit expensive, you get a great deal for your money. Where else can you have 16 different types of well prepared meat for lunch?
Service is excellent, as is the preparation of the food. Highly recommended for people with healthy apetites. don't skip the Limeade!

Fogo de Chão , an authentic Brazilian churrascaria, opened its doors to the public last Friday in downtown Portland. Founded in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 1979, this is the first Pacific Northwest location for the Brazilian steakhouse. Thursday evening, Mr. B and I were thrilled to have an invitation to the Grand Opening celebration. The churrascaria employs an open fire cooking technique that originated with of the gauchos (a South American term similar to “cowboy”) of Southern Brazil. They offer 16 different cuts of meats carved tableside, along with an extensive salad bar, unique Brazilian side dishes and the gaucho experience. First time going and I will definitely come back!! The all you can eat, with salad bar, is definitely the best pricing for what you get. The meats were absolutely to die for; so juicy and tender to chew!! Loved all of the salad bar options as well, as there were several items I've never seen or tried before. The Yellowbird drink, was also amazing!
Its my birthday today! Having been to Fogo for my anniversary I was excited to come back for my birthday. I have to say that this experience was flawless…even better than the first time. There’s something for everyone here but the main experience is the best. They kept the lamb coming too which I love. A free dessert made it that much better. Food, drinks, service and good company awaits you here.
We used the gift card from our son and went to dinner tonight for the first time at Fogo de Chão to celebrate both our anniversary and hubby's birthday. It was amazing! The food was awesome, fresh and flavorful. Wine was perfect and sweet. Meat was cooked to perfection and in abundance, hubby got his fill of Lamb tonight. Pineapple mint lemonade was amazing! And don't get us started on the desserts.
As usual, Fogo de Chao seated our expectations. The food was even better than I remembered it being last time, if that's even possible. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a slow food dining experience at the highest quality service and amazing meets an additional dishes provided during your entire meal. The market table is not to be missed. It is a prelude of great things to come.
Celebrated my husbands birthday here, our first time. We loved it. I’m a vegetarian and there was plenty of salad options and my husband enjoyed all the meat options.
The best place to experience mouth watering Brazilian food. I loved the Brazilian sodas!! I normally get all the desserts. I get 1 cheat day a month and it's always great when we come here for it. The service is even better then the food, David, Robert and Christina have always been a pleasure to talk with, such great customer service!!
This restaurant is top notch. Just be ready to be here for a couple of hours. The food is epic and just keeps on coming. The service was good and professional. Many styles of prepared meats made the rounds at the table.
My boyfriend and I have different state preferences but we were able to get both of our temperatures with every cut of meat, so I definitely recommend! Our waiter was fantastic and Rob the manager was amazing!

Very unique and wonderful dining experience! High class with well dressed server's and Manager's, very polite and respectful! Awesome selection of food and unique salad bar! Absolutely loved the unique salad bar, Brazilian drinks options, and of course the dozen or so meat kabobs that get offered and the dessert was spot on! The salad bar with meat kabobs was $60 per person, just over $4 per drink, $10 for a slice of strawberry cheesecake, plus tip and I got a military discount of several dollars! The only thing that I could of asked for is more Brazilian drink options and maybe a little cheaper prices or another option to save money like anyone who spends over $100 or $120 gets a free dessert if they want one! I did discover for your birthday you do get a free dessert option. Just discovered recently they've begun a Saturday and Sunday Breakfast Brunch Buffet from 1130-2 for $48 per adult as well. Definitely a great option for something unique and different and would be perfect for a romantic date option!
Came for Christmas dinner, and the hostess were very nice but there was a little wait even though we had reservations. They also ran out of a few menu items when we came as well, but what they did have was amazing anyway! Our server was great, and it made our Christmas away from home enjoyable. Rob made the evening enjoyable even though there was some downs.
The vibes were great in the restaurant and if you need any of the meats come by, they do really quickly. The server didn’t disclose for dessert it cost extra for the ice cream with the molten chocolate cake even though on the menu it says included. Kind of feel ripped off by the staff honestly, but the food was amazing and it’s in a great location.
Delicious. We had 7:30 reservations and arrived 30 minutes early. We were seated at 8. The servers were all wonderful and the good was delicious. I think I had the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life. Strawberry cheesecake was fabulous.

My recent dining experience at Fogo de Chão left me absolutely mesmerized and craving for more. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with the delightful aroma of perfectly grilled meats, set the stage for an extraordinary evening. Sebastian was nice and provided an excellent atmosphere. Robert also was very caring and helpful.
The service at Fogo de Chão was impeccable from start to finish. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They expertly explained the dining concept and guided me through the vast array of choices available.
