This coffee shop is super cool. I love the open industrial space. It's cool and inviting. The space is huge and has a really cool vibe. The staff was not very friendly but it wasn't too bad. The coffee was fantastic it tasted amazing and was beautifully crafted. I would definitely return. No sugar free options but plenty of dairy free options

A super cool coffee shop in East side of Portland. It is combined with a bamboo goods studio and they have many interesting looking products. Coffee is superb as usual. Only thing is while they have many big tables, the number of chairs are so limited. I’d like to see more chairs in this shop.

Found this place on a coffee blog and loved it! The atmosphere is very chill, open, and airy. The baristas were very knowledgeable and kind, offering great suggestions and even adding “If you hate it, bring it back and we will make you something different.” I ended up getting a pour over of their La Mejor blend, and it was the perfect balance of citrus and chocolate. Definitely check out this place if you’re looking for a high end cup of coffee.

It’s kinda cool that they share the store with any company. The environment are nice, kinda just hang out with friends and stuff. They don’t have AC just so you know. The coffee is okay, kinda sour, not a big fun of sour type. But definitely better than all the sour taste coffee I ever had.

The coffee shop that you would want to go first thing in the morning. Even just a short stop before head to airport. Enjoyed that stay and the moment in store. Great atmosphere and great coffee of course. Remark the place should visit again. See you next time.

Came here and got the Kilenso pourover. Was very good - coffee had some unique flavour profiles and no bitterness which was different. As others have mentioned, it's in a interesting space that looks like a wood/bamboo workshop. Could probably seat more people if they tried but I get that would change the vibe as well

The staff well explained all kinds of coffee bean. A free cup of coffee came with purchasing a bag of coffee bean. The aroma of coffee was great.

A fantastic experience and some of the best coffee we had in Portland. If I lived here I would go back for sure. I love the space and the personality of the location. It appears to be an old wood working facility though I could be wrong. This is the complete opposite of a cramped cafe type coffee shop. You and your party will have plenty of space to be together if that is what you are looking for. The baristas clearly know what they are doing which I really enjoyed. The foam was creamy and not overblown, the chocolate flavor what present but not overly so. A good, proper coffee beverage.

Through the years, this has been one of Portland's best coffee shops. Coava sources and roasts some of the finest coffees available in the world. The baristas in the shop are able to take these coffees and craft incredible drinks. Their pour-over has a unique approach -- they use metal mesh cone filters that create a pour over that is best described as half French press, half drip -- so the taste is super present, with some of the added grit and texture that you find in a pressed coffee. I take anyone who is visiting Portland here first. I have seen other great shops come and go, but this place has remained a staple for over a decade, and I am sure will be the same great coffee shop in the next decade.

Very industrial chic! Great atmosphere, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Only draw back is a lack of Splenda, or and sugar free alternative sweetener. Great for everyone except those that need sugar free coffee beverages.
