The owner Jack is so nice and always there to greet his customers. The hosts and servers are great too! They welcome you like you're family. The food is amazing!! You have to try the steak bites. I like mine without cheese. The mussels are also amazing! They're great about food allergies and customizing the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This place was AMAZING. I took my two children ages 2 and 5, and the staff was amazingly kind. Courtney was our waitress and she did so well with my girls, and the owner told knock knock jokes with my oldest. They even made a cup for my daughter out of a gelato container. The food, oh my goodness the food! I had gnocchi smocci, it was delish, out of this world. Definitely going back when I visit again!

I hosted a birthday dinner at Fillmore Trattoria with 17 guests. The event was flawless!! Perfect wine pairings with spectacular food, a gracious and warm welcome and a skilled and attentive wait staff. It is the marriage of amazing food and an exceptional experience that memories for life are made of. Jack, Victoria and Spencer... thank you! You're passion for your craft is evident!

The staff was amazing from the time we walked in the door to the time we left. We were created with smiles and enthusiasm. The chef, Jack, came to our table and personally showed us one of the specials. The food was AMAZING. Each of us ordered something different and LOVED our food. Dessert was just as amazing. Well worth it!

Perhaps the friendly quotient for PDX...great wonderful food, strats hangin on the wall, and the owners remembered that we have a ritual with Jameson which they did not carry on their list. The next time we came for dinner, one of the servers went to the pantry and brough out Jameson. When staff listens and performs like that, you know they deserve your patronage...and the name is real btw...stories of the rock era abound here.

The Flilmore Trattoria is a lovely place to sit and enjoy fine Italian inspired food with San Francisco roots. The Service was excellent. We were a group of seven that were able to sit in a quiet corner in a side room. There are also outdoor and main dining room alternatives.

We had an excellent experience dining here. As a vegetarian, I’m always curious if an Italian place has good veg options. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and I thought it was excellent. I loved the crispy edges and thought the sauce was so fresh. My friends had the two types of gnocchi and they were both awesome too.

Kind servers, happy to make recommendations and a clean table and full water glass the whole time. Amazing service. What will really have us coming back again is the food! Fresh radicchio salad, with a perfect balance of acidity and creamy goat cheese started our meal perfectly. With my house red wine the Lamb Ragu with Gnocci was both filling and bright (awesome tomato sauce guys!). My wife loves tiramisu and hands down theirs is the best we've had from a resteraunt. What really topped it off was the desert port that our server recommended. I had amaretto, and I begged a couple sips of my wife's port. Surprisingly delicious combination. Thank-you to the kind Fillmore staff who made us feel welcome and guided us through your menu. Thankyou so much to the chefs who we unfortunately didn't get to meet and thank. You all made our 10 year anniversary special dinner perfect! We can't wait to come back!

An excellent Italian restaurant in Slubtown of Portland Oregon. I have bee coming here for sometime. The food here is excellent their menu includes many dishes of pasta, meat and fish. Menus items on the many have good variety unlike many other Italian restaurants in Portland. Their service is really good, this is the only restaurant in Portland that I don’t have to pour wine myself. (I find very odd that I have to pour wine to my glass myself when a bottle of wine is ordered. So far other establishments do not even try to pour their customers’ glass.) My pet peeve here. Anyway I don’t have to pour myself. The appetizer is always good, I had a gnocchi, was so good, my husband has a lamb, desert was yummy. I will be returning here for many more times.

You know one of those experiences where you have such a good time and enjoy everything so much that you forget to document any of it with your phone? The food, service and overall hospitality and atmosphere was everything I could have asked for. Love this place!

I liked the settings. Service was good and waiters were nice and friendly. We ordered filet bites, Zucchini Carpaccio, Potato Croquettes, Bombolotti Sugo di Carne, Linguini Prawns Fra Diavolo lamb chops. Filet bites tasted the best out of all the foods that we ordered. The rest tasted just ok, nothing to make us come back again.

This was a delicious dinner. We had the fried goat cheese, lamb gnoochi, and new York strup. All were well balanced and good portions. Alex was so helpful and knowledgeable. Wonderful first visit, we'll definitely be back! Also they had air-conditioning huge plus in this heat wave!!

One of our favorites, that never disappoints! From appetizers (especially the goat cheese) to entrees (especially the rigatoni speck) to desserts (especially the zabaglione)... everything is always phenomenal! We are particular fans of the "sewing machine table" in the front window (seats 2).

Great Italian food. The wine list is pretty average, but they do have deals on corkage if you're a member at Willamette Wine Storage. The food was delicious. Overall, it was a nice place but a little spendy for some food options. We'll be back.

Lovely little Italian restaurant, perfect for a special evening out. It's a Portland-formal spot: people are there for special occasions but it's still a bit casual. Tasty food and nice wine available. Parking, as always in that area, is a bit of a hassle. Patio a nice option on sunny days. Definitely worth a try for their food and kind service--went with friends once and my mom another time. Would return!

Absolutely wonderful! Every single thing we ordered was fantastic. The service was so friendly as well. We will definitely be back again. You also must try the fried goat cheese– truly the best appetizer I have ever had!

One of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time. From the appetizers through dessert, everything was fresh, flavorful, and a refreshing change from the "drown everything in cheese and sauce' approach many Italian restaurants take. The roasted chicken was absolutely on point. Friendly service, a dog-friendly outdoor patio, and nicely done cocktails...what more could you want?

I often wonder why more restaurants don't do a better job of working the front of house - where the customers are! - This is solidly not the case with the folks at Fillmore Trattoria! My wife and I arrived for an anniversary dinner and were welcomed with a glass of bubbles. Nice start to an evening. The owners - Spencer & Emma both greeted us by name, came to our table, and hailed us as we departed. You see, its not only about the food, which is excellent, as is the wine list. It's about the customer connected and exceptional service. Go to Fillmore Trattoria for both!

My boyfriend and I walked in late one recent evening without a reservation. No problem. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. And attentive, I might add. Great service overall. But the food! And wine! Wow. We were so impressed. For having just stumbled in unplanned, we were delighted with our meal and the warm, welcoming staff. Our salad was so fresh and a great way to start the meal. But those entrees! I ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was the comfort food I was craving. Extremely satisfying. And my handsome date ordered a pasta dish with portobellos and was quite satisfied. We both ordered BTG red wines and were astounded with the quality for the price. In fact, I was so impressed, I took one bottle home! Needless to say, we were very satisfied with our experience at Fillmore! We're already looking forward to returning. ♥️
