This restaurant has authentic lebanese food, the bread is to die for ! Everything tastes so homemade, the portions are big and the price is right.

What a great experience! First time ever at Nicholas, celebrating my daughter-in-law's birthday. To start with, I didn't know how good flatbread could be! My lamb platter dinner was amazing, including the jasmine saffron rice. And my dessert - the cheesecake (don't remember its name), but it was wonderful, as well. Can't wait to go back!
Every bit as good as everyone says, and the veggie grape leaves were perfect! Could happily eat here every day for the rest of my life. Super vegetarian, vegan and GF friendly!

This place smell like Mediterranean food! The environment is also pretty Arabic. The food was awesome.. they were pretty full but we were seated in 10 minutes, the service was also quick. It’s a great place to enjoy true Mediterranean food and atmosphere. Their complimentary pita bread was huge and it was freshly made.
Exceptional restaurant! Very good food. Lamb Kebab was tender and flavorful. Rice was very tasty. Their bread came out like a 14" pizza steaming hot from the oven. Highly recommended. Would be a great place to take a date. But it's not huge so it might be difficult to get a seat at peak time, not sure.
Had the veggie kabobs. It was delicious! Had a great pesto sauce. Also ordered fries and they had a great pepper seasoning and weren't oily. This place was very delicious. They have meat, vegetarian, and vegan food. Fresh pita bread was constantly refilled during our meal. I loved it and will be coming again.
Hands down this is my favorite Lebanese restaurant in Portland. I particularly love this location for the ambiance! Pitas are always fresh and huge, and the food is always delicious. They never disappoint me!
If you don’t love the food from Nicholas there must be something wrong with you!
It was a beautiful grey day in SE Portland. With no plans but to enjoy the day and each others company. Long lost lovers reunited. With empty stomachs and full hearts, we found ourselves at Nicholas restaurant. It is no trouble for us to love find joy in sharing everything so amazingly tasty. The menu is full of so many flavors and temptations. It was a pleasure to sit down and experience this meal. A beautiful v chill atmosphere with a dope patio area in the front HELL YEAH YUMMY!
We didn’t want our meal to end so we got a flight full cinnamon mint tea to make the wonderful time together last a few moments longer.

The bread is as good as it gets .. portion are good and full of flavor … however since it’s a small place and kitchen was right next to seating area .. it was hot sitting in esp in August
I went here 5 months ago after a procedure and it was the best meal I've had in ages! Came here again this week and my girlfriend and I barely talked aside from the pleasured food groans you get when the meal is too good! Even the leftovers the next day were incredible! Holds up to it's good reputation - consistency in quality between the locations. Just blissful! 10/10
The food was amazing. Large portions filled with lots of flavor. Parking is easy and well lit. Prices were good. Service was good, they were really busy but kept up pretty well.

Always good. The hot fresh pita is best with their hummus. And the fried cauliflower is delicious. I've gotten adventurous recently, trying different things than my normal order.
The only slight issue I have with things like the Mezza is that I end up with "flavor fatigue". It's so good, but complex.
No complaints though. It's a great place.
We actually did take out for 7 adults and two children pre-holiday. The food was delicious, well-prepared and with generous portions. The lamb, salmon & vegetable kebab's and the baba ganoush were especially popular! The bit of service we used was great. Will definitely be back.
I really promised myself I wouldn't tell anybody when I found my perfect restaurant but I can't help giving them the compliments, they deserve it not only is this in a very unassuming little spot, they were happy to have us come in food and service or impeccable but what it was is my dream of what a restaurant is making me feel like family. At a time that was not lunch or dinner where there could been a million other things then two ladies coming in to eat with their dog. We were treated with kindness respect and the food was oh oh oh so good it started with a fresh hot pita the size of a whole pizza piping hot out of the coal oven that we devoured immediately That's all I'm going to say for now I'm going to keep going again and again and I'll say something each time. Although a bit expensive it is well worth it and if you start to love this place order out and tip them well.
Deep flavor with bright notes. My Shawarma chicken was tasty with it's minty garbanzo/cabbage salad and gorgeous, flavorful rice. The fresh flat bread had perfect texture as did the hummus. Definitely recommend.
Nice Location!! Great Atmosphere !! Seating arrangements booths isolated. If you drive past too fast you could miss it other than that perfect! Now the waiter had a little bit of an attitude maybe because it was a busy night. But the food looked delicious the service was quick. I spent 45$ US on two plates of Chicken and Salmon Kabobs mixed with extra salads on both with a side of hummus. Will definitely return if in the area...
I can't say I am an expert in Mediterranean food.. but I do enjoy it. And this place had amazing food. I had the Lamb kabob plate. I can not speak highly enough about the rice! I believe it was saffron Jasmin rice.. amazing! The lamb was cooked perfectly. Tender. Good bite size portions..and just enough hint of mint on the back end to make me want more. The bread they bring to the table was a first for me. Flat bread..freshly made and served still warm. With a sesame oil concoction for dipping. We tried the babaganosh..and the tomulo and I was honestly surprised I liked them as much as I did. I paired my meal with a Guava cider, on tap, which was clean, light, and perfectly complimented the lamb.
Our server was super friendly, and very good at answering our questions and supply the right plates for our experience. I will be back and give them more of my money. You should go and give them some to. You will be rewarded!
