The Chopped Salad, Beef Carpaccio, Chicken Marsala and Olive Oil cake were all superb! A friendly and beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend checking this place out.

A very great atmosphere Italian restaurant in the downtown proper area. The pasta dishes were quite tasty, although nothing shocking. The bread was warm and went well with all the dishes. The staff recommended these three dishes and even brought the drinks on the house which was super sweet. The recommendations were great and the atmosphere felt intimate but was still busy and on the louder end. Glad I stopped in to try it out, but I won’t need to go again.

We decided to get a quick bite to eat as we did some Xmas shopping in downtown Pdx. First the service was amazing. Our guy was both the bartender and our server. He was very personable, efficient, and quick witted and made our experience so much better We kinda did a family style thing by sharing the Caesar salad, garlic focaccia (a little salty), and the meatballs. All very good. I think the meatballs were my favorite. Then we finished off with some shrimp scampi. It was cute and it really met our needs. Drop in sometime and check it out for yourself.

I came for my first time for the Drag’d to Dinner show. I was so happy it was all ages! I brought my kids and we had a BLAST! The staff did great attending to the full room. RJ is awesome! I got shrimp scampi and it was to die for! I was very pleased with the proportion as well. My kids loved their pasta too!

Italian restaurant associated with the hotel. The menu is relatively small, but the chef does well with classic Italian fare. The fish was seared perfectly, and all of the dishes were flavorful. The cocktails were well made, and the service was excellent and well paced.

Nice place, we all had a good time. Service was good, pleasant atmosphere, nice murmur in the background. The negroni (had two) was yummy. Try the focaccia, so good, the hit of the table. I could eat a bunch of that with a ceasar salad and a glass of wine or whatever. I had lasagna, it was disappointing. All noodles, small sparse meat layer, little bit of home made ricotta, bechamel sauce on top, and an average tomato sauce on the bottom. The main drawback was that it was burned on the bottom and tasted burned (see photo) so I only ate the top of the slice, it was ok, but for $28.00 a la carte, I would not order lasagna there again. Everyone else liked their food. I would give 3.5 stars. Maybe next time I'll order spaghetti and meatballs, it looked good.

I waited for them to open because I have been past this place but never inside. I was first in for their dinner service. The waiter was very kind and patient. The food really was delicious. And the Focaccia was perfect and oh so good.

We had a large party while dining here and each of us received top notch personal service. Our waitor was fantastic! We enjoyed every delectable bite. My scallops were cooked to absolute perfection. They have an excellent wine list to choose from as well. All in all, a delightful evening of fine dining at its best.

Great food and drinks in the bar! The service was wonderful, prompt, friendly. We went for Drag Dinner (3rd Thursdays) and it was just fantastic. We'll be back!

A restaurant that has changed names but not owners or quality of food. The menu reads Italian with a modern and innovative spin on dishes. This is a place to come to share dishes as it is hard to choose. Located on Broadway Downtown and easily accessible by all modes of transportation.

The food is good, some of it great. The steak special was a stack of perfectly cooked medium rare slices. There was an extensive wine list. But the best thing about the place was Devon, our server. He recommended items to us and had a great sense of humor. Yes the food was good but we will be back again because of the way we were treated. See you again Devon.

Conveniently located at the Kimpton Vintage Hotel, Il Solito serves up great food with great service at reasonable prices. The French Toast was unique and delicious. The other entrees were prepared perfectly and well portioned. Whether your staying at the hotel or just walking down Broadway looking for a good bite to eat in a cozy restaurant, don't pass up on Il Solito.

Located in the trendy Hotel Vintage, a Kimpton property, Il Solito, although a relatively new restaurant, delivers flavor-packed regional Italian cuisine worth the visit.

I was in town for work. This was one of the highest rarest places. The service, pasta, and atmosphere was amazing. When you come here, if you order any dessert at all, order the tiramisu!

I had Pork Belly with pasta and a green goddess cream sauce. The pasta and pork belly were perfectly cooked and the sauce was sublime. The only down side was the desserts weren't as good as the meal. Definitely 4.5 stars though and we will be back. Thanks Chef well done.

Nice Italian restaurant with traditional dishes. Mu only complain is that pasta is a bit overcooked for mu taste (but I’m Neapolitan, used to eat almost raw pasta). Nice beer selection.

I enjoyed some great pasta at this restaurant. I recommend the basic spaghetti and meatballs. It is the sauce with the ricotta cheese mixed in that makes the difference. They had a decent selection of wines which were good although alittle pricey at 14 bucks a glass (pricey for Portland). Staff were friendly.

Stayed at the Kimpton and ate here with a friend. We really enjoyed our meal. The focaccia was delicious and the pork belly pasta was to die for. I regretted that we split it. Dessert was also good, but the pasta was the highlight. Our server was friendly and patient with us as we were catching up after not having seen each other in a while. Came for breakfast the next morning. My hubby and I both enjoyed our entrees. It’s typical American breakfast food, but was delicious none the less. I would be happy to eat here again anytime.
