Border Nord is a perfect brunch spot. You order at a counter but after that you'll get table service, a friendly staff, and an excellent spread of Norwegian breakfast. The lost egg has an amazing steamed egg like texture mixed with plenty of savory and salty mix ins. The oat porridge is packed with flavor and a good crunchy but not dry texture. The lemon curd is super tart and good. Come here with friends who like to share so you can try as much as you can.

Very quiet on a weekday breakfast time. Swedish hash and soup of the day was very yummy. I tried the milk with turmeric, wasn't a huge fan because of the super raw flavor of turmeric. Turmeric is very good for you, as an Indian we use turmeric powder in almost of the dishes we cook. It's worth a try. Definitely try their Swedish Almont crown desert. It just made my day.

The most wonderful choice for a Sunday morning breakfast! Out for an early stroll with our dog, new to the neighborhood this week excited to try this place. The food is as delicious as the photos! The eggs ooze into your toast, the bacon is perfect, the breakfast sandwich with lemon ricotta and hollandaise is decadent. Todays drink special is a brown sugar latte which is also just wonderful. The griddle cake is almost savory with some berries and really good maple syrup. The toast is freaking great. 10/10 recommend! We got here right after 8am when they open, very chill and enjoyed our breakfast on the patio. Thank you Broder Nord! Great staff too!

Great brunch! Stopped in here as we were staying in the area. Had no idea what to expect or what I was ordering to be honest but was very impressed. Great brunch with a cool patio vibe outside. Would recommend if you are in the area.

It was my first time here, my son brought me in for my birthday breakfast. Everything was amazing! If you get the chance to go here, do it, the food was great, we sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air. We will be back again.

Lost eggs are always phenomenal. It's one of my favorite dishes in the city. Don't get me wrong, there's amazing delights throughout their menu but damn. Those Lost Eggs. I'm drooling just thinking about it. I'm pretty sure I had had some alcoholic coffee. You know me 🙃 but a visit to Broder is never complete without the Danish pancakes. You cannot miss these. Our out of town friends were blown away by them. And the little patio is way cuter and more of a brunch vibe than their previous location. The move definitely paid off

Waited way too long to come here- get over here! Everything was amazing. I loved the potato pancake, the aebelskivers, and the jams- the lemon curd was my fave! All the egg dishes were great too, sausage tasty, good coffee drinks. Only thing was we waited a long time for food, about 45 minutes, but on a Sunday afternoon it’s expected things will take longer so it wasn’t a huge deal to us. Outdoor patios are really nice to sit and get fresh air, and they’re shaded. 10/10 recommend and I’m definitely coming back to try all the different pastries and maybe a lamb burger 😋

I really love the food experience here. I couldn’t believe that there were many people showed up. The best place for brunch.

Popped in today for a quick lunch with an old friend, and what a delightful find! Don't be deterred if you're not a huge fish fan, though my friend said the radicchio salad with trout was delicious - there are plenty of wonderful fish-free options. I went for the soup of the day, which I honestly believe you can tell a lot about a restaurant by their soup. Tip is included and you don't bus your table which gives Broder a very European feel. The customer service is wonderful, and I honestly can't wait to return!

Such a great experience! The mushroom and spinach Lefse was bursting with flavor and the abelskivers were warm, fluffy and divine. Was traveling on the road home and happened across this gem of a place purely by chance via Google search for "Portland Breakfast" The service was super friendly and I will make a 3 hour drive just to come here. My family and I arrived shortly after opening, which seems to be the perfect time to go during the week since they quickly became busy. It's easy to see why

Great spot for some savory and sweet brunch, whatever your preference. We dabbled in a bit of both and got the danish pancakes that comes with a jam and lemon curd for dippins. We also got the Swedish hash and the hot dog- which comes as more of a wrap with some delicious side fillings. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. This place is wonderful.

Went around 1pm on a Monday and were able to order and sit immediately. Staff were kind and helpful. We had the tunnbrödsrulle and æbleskiver. Both were delicious! Even my picky eater enjoyed it.

In a city with many great brunch options, this one is memorable. Amazing flavors all around and unexpected twists such as beets in the corned beef hash! Great creativity at this spot.

Been wanting to go here for quite some time and so glad we did! We went the day after Christmas and arrived at 11am. The time it took to wait for a table, order and got our food was about an hour. It wasn't too bad and there's plenty of parking within the two blocks perimeter. We ordered the following:, Danish Pancakes (Aebleskiver) - 4 count. They are the little pancake dough balls that comes with jam and lemon custard on the side. I thought they were beignets when I looked up photos but they're not. They are more densed than I expected. My boyfriend loved it. Coffee - they give you a coffee mug and you go to the self serve coffee station. They gave me creamer on the side and wow. The coffee is pretty strong and really good. Swedish Hash, classic corned beef (pytt Panna) - My boyfriends to go breakfast item is corned beef hash and we were impressed with how much flavor his dish packed. Lost Eggs (Folorade eggs) - I chose to get the mushroom option. And so glad I did. I really like mushrooms and was a bit hesitant to choose this over the ham just because I wanted some more protein, but this dish had so much aray of flavors. I also got a slice of the buche de Noel log cake to pair with my coffee. It was okay. It was very light but felt very dry. I just had a sweet tooth but it helped curved my sweet cravings. Overall everything was good. Well worth the wait for me. I don't like to deal with crowds or wait, but I also been waiting to eat here for a while and finally had an opportunity so decided to bite the bullet. We would definitely come back. Reasonable pricing. Everything equated to 50 dollars even (minus the tip we gave). Overall 4 stars due to the size of the restaurant, it's pretty small but a lot of Portland small businesses are. This is definitely between 4 and 5 stars though. The size is more like a cafe but crowded like a busy restaurant.

First time having this swedish breakfast and we were not disappointed. We got the lost eggs with the shaved smoked ham, the swedish hash with corned beef and the danish pancakes. All were outstanding dishes with lots of flavors. Very hearty and unique dishes that had us feeling very full at the end. The lost eggs were delicious packed with flavor and had good texture. The swedish hash also hit the spot, plenty of beef and potatoes which fit into a smallish dish yet left me very satisfied by the end. The danish pancakes also were good but what really made it stand out was that lemon curd that came with it, likely their most popular dish since almost every table had some. The ambiance was trendy and inviting. You order at the counter and then they bring you your food. Service was quick. Overall the food is great and worth the price. Its a must try if you’re in the portland area.

Expect there to be a line, it's worth the wait. Counter order and then pick your own table, if there is one available. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Tons of Gluten Free options. The food was delicious. Atmosphere lovely.
