The pizza slices are HUGEMANGOUS, the flavor was on point as well. The sourdough crust and fresh ingredients leave you wanting more but your satiation won’t let you.
Also had the Mozzarella salad, incredible. Get one.
Excellent place for late night pizza. Came here late night after a long evening of beer, liquor, and gaming at the barcade. Enjoyed the drink selection here and the pizza was an explosion of flavor helping us to sober up after drinking too much everywhere else. Service was great and we will definitely be back.
I was in town last weekend for a friend birthday. A group of us about 8 people all ordered different items an all looked amazing. Everything tasted great according to all who tasted. The following items were tried and enjoyed. Homemade chicken sausage, shrimp and grits, mushroom omelette, biscuits, kale braised in tomato sauce, French toast, cabbage, and roasted grapefruit. I took some pictures so check them out. Also the one thing that was a bit disappointing was that the menu stayed “greens braised in tomorrow’s” most of the people in my group figured that would be collard greens not kale. The greens could use more heat, but they have a great in house made hot sauce so I just added a good dose so if you don’t like spice this might be good option
These slices are big and heavy; in a good way!
Plus they’re playing outlaw country, and the cook is singing loudly. It’s fantastic. What could be wrong with Marty Robbins, a Heater Allen Pilsener and amazing pie?
The pizza sauce is note-perfect. This should become a Portland institution. Time will tell.
The pizza here is freaking awesome. Crunchy, well done, substantial, tasty, awesome cheese and the best crust. A bit pricey than other places but totally delicious.
Best pizza in town!! If you are craving pizza, look no further, this is the only place that should be on your list.
Perfectly nice thin crust pizza that lives up to the expectation!
Nice, quiet, low key ambiance. Fast food prep. I came for the sourdough pizza crust & was not disappointed.

Delicious hot the pickled stuff on the side because we had the kids but DAYUMMMM this was good!!
Great, casual place. A full bar (I think, I'm not old enough to drink yet😁), great pizza, and some other bar snacks. The pizza's by the slice, or you can buy a 12, 18, or 36 by 12 inch pizza. It's some of the best I've ever had. If you need a quick bite or a cheap place to hang with friends, I highly recommend!
Amazing pizza!! Best I've had in awhile and I eat pizza a lot! Right up there with Moose's Tooth in Anchorage. Nice staff and a full bar. The only off putting thing was the explicit rap music. It just doesn't fit the ambiance! This isn't a dance club or something similar, it's a pub style pizza place with lots of dark wood and black and white pictures. casual dining.
For Portland, a non-East Coast City, this is really good pizza. The crust is just the right kind of chewy and crunchy, the sauce the right balance of tart and sweet and the cheese just the right amount. Try just cheese to rate it. I rate this with Escape and A Pizza Scholls. The review is for the Pizza but it is also a decent non-pretentious downtown cocktail bar too.
The pizza is good, but not my favorite in Portland (Hot Lips, so far).
I felt that it was maybe a bit overpriced (very similar pizzas at Soul Pies Fire Pizza on Mississippi, for a fair amount less money), but I am guessing that is partially due to the prime downtown location.
Atmosphere was good, and the service was good (had to wait a few minutes to order, as the server was making an order of what looked to be very fancy beverages, when I entered, but once I ordered, I received the pizza almost surprisingly quickly - probably not even ten minutes.
I will have to come back to try some of the mixed drinks and maybe slices of some of the specialty pizzas.
One of the best slices in town, although it's a premium offering. Best enjoyed fresh... When it is hot on the plate the tastes are pretty amazing. Also a fantastic staff, they make you feel right at home and mix a hell of a cocktail.
Great downtown location, ground floor by Hotel Lucia.
This side of the Imperial is the bar side so pizza is the most filling menu item. Tried it on our first night for convenient quick bite and was totally a fan of their pizzas that we were back another night.
We got a medium half-half of the Meat Your Maker and the Mushroom. Both are equally superb!
Pizza is served direct fr the oven....hot and gooeey good. The crust is thin yet perfect for the heaping (I mean, heaping!) toppings.
On next visit we also tried the Ceasar Salad added to another order of their pizza.
Outstanding service.
A MUST!
Best pizza in town, and you will pay for it too! It's an expensive slice but it's also consistent quality every time I go. Even when you buy a single slice it's like they took it freshly ordered right out of the oven just for you.
Great pizza and a really fun crowd! This restaurant is owned by a James Beard award winner and and owner of several high-end restaurants. Imperial, Paley's Place and Headwaters are all wonderful. The care and skill used at the tonier restaurants is consistent with this more approachable place.
