The best spot for authentic Italian cuisine in SE Portland! πŸ’œ My family loves to eat out here. They have the best garlic bread, generous portions for each dish, and incredible tarimisu! πŸ˜‹ Their staff is also good humored and attentive. Made our experience even better. You really can't beat delicious fresh pasta on a cold night! The flavor of the special was also incredible. Ricotta stuffed ravioli served with red pepper pesto and sausages. πŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ³πŸ€ŒπŸ½πŸ’•

Been going here since 1978. Why.. because is just good old fashioned Italian food. From the spaghetti to the pizza. Love the atmosphere of decor of days gone by. The staff is top notch. If you haven't been... what you wanting for???

Wow. The search is over after 27 years in PDX. Superb, no frills, comfort food will put you in a food coma. SO many classics on the menu and we mean to try them all. 45 years of doing things right without over doing it. Kudos. You guys have nailed it.

Mediocre food. Needs olive oil. Meat sauce is too sweet. Bread is from Safeway. Nice staff.

Charming neighborhood Italian joint. If you're looking for fancy gourmet, this is not the place. It is casual and family style. Good pasta and better than average sausage. Wine is enjoyable. The Negroamaro Piantaferro 2020 is decent. The minestrone is bland. The garlic cheese bread is good...but they give you plenty of bread already. We'll pass on the meatballs next time. We end up taking half of the entrees home anyway. Prices are very reasonable. Check out my profile for more great eateries and cocktail bars. ✌🏼✌🏼

Great prices!!! The ambiance was very fitting for an Italian restaurant and food tasted home cooked with good quality! They brought us a charcuterie plate for an appetizer, which was delicious! The only downside was the waitresses' service, which didn't communicate with us, but we still had a great dinner. Highly recommend thei Gnocchi with Pesto alfredo and Cannoli πŸ‘Œ

Fantastic service. We arrived shortly after they opened and were greated and sat immediately. Our waitress was knowledgeable and personable. Our first time dining here but plan on going back. I had the crab fettuccine. It was good but heavy and rich (plan on taking some home). He had ravioli and red sauce, no complaints! Good food, manageable prices, wonderful service hard to go wrong.

I went here at least weekly as a kid growing up in SE pdx. Just took my kids for the first time tonight. Not only was it as good as I remembered, my kids enjoyed it which is hard to put a value on. The honey mustard salad dressing is the best I’ve ever tasted. And the meatballs and Italian sausages are top notch. The red sauce is classic East coast Italian and makes you feel transported to another time and place. I’ll be back again soon!

Cute little Italian place. No frills, served family style. Food is good, and staff is friendly. Interior decor is fairly dated and could use a little face-lift. Prices are great for portion sizes. Nice little spot to come and grab a bite. We'll definitely order from here again in the future.

Excellent classic Italian restaurant. Been going here for years and always had excellent food. I ordered the gnocchi with pesto Alfredo sauce and it was amazing. They serve cocktails, wine, and Pepsi products. Great for a family meal, date night or take out!
