My favorite hang out in PDX !!! Amazing service and very sweet staff. Delicious drinks, food and an ambience that is perfection !!!
Went to Ardbeg night with my hubby, we were later than expected but got excellent service and divine beverages on the back patio! Decided to try inside as well and had just as great of service and beverages! Worth the trip from the west side and will return with friends...soon!
I had been meaning to experience this spot for a while. I spontaneously walked in after errands on a Saturday Evening and fell in love. This venue is stunning. The team of people in this ensemble are brilliant! Monica behind the bar was chipper, friendly, informative, talented and made fabulous beverage recommendations. One of the partners, Jade, escorted me through the history of the decor surrounding this fantastic cultural experience. I so enjoyed my visit I returned twice in the same evening, near midnight with a friend. The garlic cheese bread is addictive and I highly recommend it! The stroganoff is similar to an alfredo, but stunning all the same. Their sour's are superb and hands down the best speak easy I've been to! Whether you are casual and dressed to the 9's a fantastic place for socializing or a romantic date. Go!!
What a great place! We loved the atmosphere and the drinks and service were excellent. We also shared the pretzel, which was fabulous. We will definitely be back!
Drinks, ambience, and staff are superb. Jessica is the best bartender in the state.
This place was perfection. I had watched the video of the bar being constructed and I was in absolute awe. I actually teared up watching it. The attention to detail and the authenticity is amazing. I was completely overwhelmed with joy my entire time there and the way they make their drinks is mesmerizing. I can’t wait to go back.
Awesome! Great & creative cocktails. Yummy food. Fantastic & friendly service. A+++++ all the way. Will be back--many, many, many times!!!

Love this darling place for the ambiance and the great staff and oh don't forget the fabulous cocktails! Super fun!
Amazing little place. They really take immense pride in their cocktail creations. The food is also excellent. Atmosphere is lovely and intimate. I adore Bible Club.
Great little spot with a true prohibition feel, friendly servers and lots of cocktail knowledge. Well worth checking out!
Such a cool spot. Great drinks, love the decor, and true to the prohibition period. This place is a must!
The best service... the Best mixers in the biz.. if you ask me.. this place kills it!
Loved it! Drinks were great, the decor is amazing and Jessica behind the bar was perfect. Can't wait to return.
Great staff really care about the sensory experience they give to their customers. Ambience is second to none in the cocktail scene in PDX. Similar feel in drinking experience as The Avery in Chicago but in a PDX kind of way. Hats off and thank you!!! As its been a long time coming.
Notice the red glass door as it the only outside indication the you have found the club. The cocktails were great and the atmosphere was delightful. I think we missed the study group and after our first round I had already planned my escape route in case the authorities raided the place. I was all in to the experience. Fun.
I will say one of the absolute coolest establishments I've been to recently! From the prohibition decor to the name of the drinks and food on the menu. What an awesome time and experience. Was a perfect ending to my birthday weekend festivities. I will say the PB & P (which stands for prayer btw) was one of the best cocktails I could have ordered. Also the passion fruit mousse cake was very nice and subtle. Not overly sweet which i throughly enjoyed. Well done. Will certainly be back.
One of my favorite speakeasy in SE Portland. Solid drinks, tasty bites, great old school vibes, and super friendly staff.
Street parking. Sometimes it’s tough to grab a table, but always worth the wait.
Sit back, praise the lord, and enjoy the time with those around you.
This review is for the outdoor space, but I cannot find a separate listing.
I really enjoyed this venue. The live music was excellent, and I've heard that the artists are always quite good.
The drinks were fun- I tried a twist on a Moscow mule, and the Portland Fog. I tried the second one hot and it was perfect. Very lavender flavoured though - beware of you're not a big fan.
The food was also really good. We did the baked brie, charcuterie board and meatball dish. It was good, though we ordered too much for two.
Staff was friendly and the line moved quick.
Cute spot. We didn't sit inside because it was busy but the patio seating event in November was warm and cozy. Solid cocktails. The Portland Fog was good, the Magnolia was even better!
Such a cool hideaway. Speakeasy with great drinks and very good appetizers. Check it out.
Great place if you want to find some harder to find bourbon. The staff was excellent and the bourbon even better. I cannot recommend this little speak easy enough it is amazing all around.
OBSESSED! The drinks, food, and atmosphere are amazing and memorable. The pretzel board and grilled cheese were delicious. If in Portland, Oregon this speakeasy is a must.
I have lived in Portland for 7 years and I’ve never come here until now despite always hearing great things. This place is SO cool and really takes you to the 1920’s. It’s a great place to escape reality and have some tasty tasty drinks with outrageously delicious snacks!
From the outside, this looks like any other house in the neighborhood, perhaps with louder music coming from the backyard. But once you step inside, you're in one of the coolest speakeasies in the Pacific Northwest.
While there's outdoor seating for more social events in nice evenings, the indoor bar and tables are the highlight. Beer is nice, but the cocktails are the main attraction, especially the old-timey ones. I got a smoked Manhattan and it was absolutely amazing.
The food ain't lagging behind. While it's fancy pub fare, the quality is really good. I recommend the olives and the cheese.
Definitely worth visiting, and great place to bring friends as well!
First time here. Fun little place with amazing decor and fun atmosphere. Friday night at 9pm. Very busy, center tables are close and people get loud. Sit at the bar or perimeter tables if you have a choice. Drinks and food were great. No complaints.
This place is definitely unique, quirky, and interesting; at times it felt like the music was being played on an old Victrola, the liquor was bootlegged, and we were out of place in our modern clothes. Not sure what era it’s trying to depict, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of other sinners were enjoying themselves in other ways all around the house. ;)
The drinks we had were delicious! The Baccanal was fruity and the The Real McCoy had an apple pie and citrus cinnamon thing going on. The pretzel bun appetizer was great too!
I had heard of this place but never visited and neither have my parents who have lived in Portland for 30+ years. I don't know how we haven't been yet. We sat out in the patio out back which has it's own bar separate from inside the house. There was one woman making all of the food and everything we ordered was delicious. It was fun to share the plates between us. It allowed us to try more and we didn't regret ordering anything. The bartender was extremely helpful and even created a mocktail for my mom that wasn't on the menu. His drinks were incredible and he had hustle to ensure every table had a heater going and even got us cushions to sit on. I can't recommend the Bible Club PDX enough. It's also in a super cute neighborhood that is fun to walk around. If you are wondering where to go for drinks and a bite to eat, you've found it.
Almost a hidden speakeasy type spot that you can easily miss if not knowing where it is. The exterior is a residential house. The interior is small and cozy. The cocktails are good and snacks are also good. I enjoyed the penicillin and the grilled cheese.
Great atmosphere, excellent drinks and the food was perfect. The Bible Club has a cool vibe the bartender and server were awesome. Excellent service will be back again and again.
This is a hidden gem. Seriously, it’s hard to find and you feel like you’re breaking into someone’s house. It’s a little tight inside but it’s intimate!
The bartender will make you a delicious concoction, just from telling her a few things you want it to be. The food was so good too!
There was a live band and n the back patio which was also a really cool open space. I will definitely be back!
TLDR: The BEST speakeasy in Portland.
Now this place has 2 options: 1. Cute little speakeasy inside this single family home OR 2. The outdoor Revival patio where they have live music on Fri, Sat & Sun up to 10 PM. Amazing drinks are served at both the places. We stopped by during the thanksgiving week and since the house was not crowded we sat in the patio to enjoy some warm cocktails with live music. Love the vibe of this patio bar. It is such a happy cozy place with heaters and great drinks. Loads of outdoor seating and people are okay sharing the space with others. We tried a few of their gin and whisky based cocktails and loved it all. They had some really nice warm cocktails that were great - Ambriel Skies.
Post live music hours we walked into the speakeasy home. The ambience is so cool it is a small really small speakeasy. We ordered the Café Montmartre on repeat and every time this drink blew my mind. I am a huge fan of coffee liqueur and this one of the best tasting coffee drinks I have had. Our friends had a few gin cocktails and loved them. The whisky based cocktails were great too.
There is ample amount of street parking so that is not an issue. I highly recommend visiting this speakeasy while in Portland.
