My wife and I had a truly memorable experience. Food was excellent. Shrimp in a ridiculous good, true Cajun brown sauce was incredible due to the house made Worcestershire and other secrets = a lot of extra love. Hushpuppies, lamb skewers, oysters, and halibut were also truly super great. The authentic service and friendliness of the staff was so refreshing. Highly recommend this place.
Delicious cocktails and southern food. Great patio close to 23rd (and dog friendly). The space inside is gorgeous. Fried chicken was deliciously moist - just right. A great place to relax on a beautiful day.
Seriously 5 stars are not even close to enough. I love this place and the guys that's do the cooking and serving. We went for our first time on Saturday with no expectations and were blown away! Scratch made, in house everything! The staff made us feel like family. These guys care about food and preparing it correctly. Go, thank me later because you will not be disappointed.
Wonderful place. Friendly and homey, with delicious food and great drinks. Will be visiting anytime we are back in Portland!

What a great find! The appetizers and entrées were outstanding. The service was great, they actually cared that we were there. But oh my goodness the chocolate dessert was the best dessert in Portland...by a mile!
Amazingly delicious food. The hush puppies and fried chicken are out of this world. Friendly staff in a laid back atmosphere. Perfection!

Down home southern cooking with Portland flare. Not fancy, just good. Bartender made excellent drinks, while the chef stopped by personally to check in with us. While it is off 23rd, it made visiting the area a must.

Amazing! The owner was our bar tender and did an excellent job. The food was great. We have been a few times now and every time has been the same in quality and service. This is my new favorite.
The most delicious fish & chips we've had yet here in Portland. There is dill directly IN the batter! And the curry fries are delectable. They have a whole list of craft cocktails, so there's something for everyone. The environment is cozy with games to play or books to read on a lazy afternoon. We will be coming back again and again!
Cool place but the bartender was SO busy. It took like 30min to get a drink on a normal night. But he came to our table and apologized and was super helpful once he had the chance.
Wanted a quick bite on a nice afternoon, and this place was perfect! Good service, good drinks, and delicious food all in a unique setting made for a great dinner before some salt and straw!
