I LOVE this place, definitely a must try when fooding in Portland! I have a weakness for breakfast food, so I ordered the Chopped Beef and Egg, and the Chorizo and Egg. Both were perfect, but, my favorite was the Chorizo and Egg. I have been multiple times since my first visits, and love it every single time! It has a fun atmosphere, it feels like an indoor food cart or like a hole in the wall that everyone knows about. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I love it!
I had fish tacos, rice and beans with a nacho appetizer.
The fish was perfectly grilled. The rice was seasoned perfectly. The black beans were delicious. Loved it all !
Amazing experience! Great food! Stellar Horchata! I need more Queso nachos!
I ordered the Guadeloupe bowl which flawlessly included
BLACK BEANS
RICE
JICAMA SLAW
RED RADISH
PEPITAS
GUACAMOLE
QUESO FRESCO
Pretty good tacos! The mushroom mole taco has crispy potatoes on the top which adds an enjoyable and delicious textural element. The hot sauces are also pretty good. Not a ton of vegan options, but those they do have are pretty tasty.
This currently my favorite taco place in Portland. Food is always consistently delicious. I can't get enough of the Carnitas here; always nice and crisp, not soggy like other places. The breakfast tacos are another fav as there is just something so comforting about eggs and flour tortillas. By the way, they make their own flour tortillas. Good place to bring kids also as they have a large drawing board, tons of crayons, and a multitude of board games.
This place is a super affordable and tasty option for tacos. I got to try a bunch and the flavor was solid. They make a good margarita and I’m excited to go back for nachos. The place is super clean and bright. They get busy and seating can be tough but there’s a couple extra seats in the common area of the building. Staff is friendly, line moves quick, overall a solid spot for a bite on division.
This place is great. Menu has more options than I was expecting. I had three tacos. The fried avocado was highly recommended and didn't disappoint. I also had one fish and one shrimp taco. The shrimp was good but pretty spicy (to my taste). The fish was also good. To drink I had the prickly pear margarita. It's was pretty sweet but I liked it.

Those are some great tacos. You won’t go wrong choosing this place.
Very tasty tacos. Especially on Sundays when they do crunchy tacos. I would rate them a 5, but they only do crunchy tacos in Sundays, crazy right?
They have a few different types of hot sauce, but charge .25 cents for some salsa. So find that quarter that fell between the seats if you don't like hot sauce.
Either way, love this place and keep going back, only on Sundays though...
Good flavors, interesting combinations, nice margaritas, perfect prices and kind people. The brisket taco is to die for just fyi!
This used to be my favorite taco place, but they changed their menu and the tacos weren't as good. The tortilla in particular was really not very good. I did like the chips better, but that's not why I go there.

I was contacted by the owner and on a subsequent visit had a lengthy discussion with an employee about my recent experiences here. I can say this for certain: Stella Taco really does care about it's customer experience.
I understand that the issues with the flour tortillas are being worked on and are in part due to their being a larger size. I believe my finding them not as soft as I remember might also be due to me misremembering that I had corn tortillas with my previous favorite (which is no longer available due to the menu change). The corn tortillas are generally much softer.
My previous disappointment is probably largely due to things being different (change is hard). This coupled with the truly excellent customer service I have received subsequently, I have revised my rating back to 5 stars. Stella Taco deserves it.
Good deal for the quality. The nachoes are great and the queso is epic!
This place was great. I really enjoyed the fresh take on their tacos, though some of them came across a little... Blah. I loved the Colorado Pork though! And none of them were bad by any stretch. We also really loved their queso and chips, especially with some of the house hot sauce mixed in. It's a fun take on tacos and we'd definitely return.
If you are looking for a great
place for good tacos, and a bit more, this may be it for you. It’s super good for the price point. Nothing fancy here. The Staff is always very friendly as well.
The Nachos are of a different sort. Quite good, but you have to like the cheese sauce that is drizzled on the tortillas. They make this fresh so don’t think it comes out of a jar. It’s tasty, in my opinion. Try the carnitas tacos as well. Crispy and tasty as well. Draft beer with a rotating tap. It fast, friendly and tasty.
Being another Portland walk-up, there's not much to say about the service. That's not to say the girl ringing us up wasn't nice. She was. I can say, though, the tacos were delicious. I just had to get a second steak fajita. If I lived in the neighborhood, this would be my go-to place for good tacos and beers. That's the thing about this city, though. Each neighborhood has it's own taco place, pizza, noodles, etc. If I'm in the Southeast again, I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic Taco joint! We loved it so much we went back three times. Once for breakfast, once for dinner and another time we stopped by for happy hour! Their drinks are fantastic. Their food is fabulous! Love the outdoor seating! A definite must try if in Portland!
