I came here for Portland's Pizza week and enjoyed a $2 delicious slice containing the vegetarian Beyond Meat burgers. There is lots to choose from, and if you are feeling super hungry, definitely add the bread sticks to your pizza. Very filling, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. There is also a special $2 cheese slice deal before 12pm, so check that out!
I usually order a pie since slices don't usually have enough cheese for my taste. Today I ordered with extra mozzarella and got this.... Pic attached. Not common but I'm not happy.

Hotlips replied and fixed my order, gave me a new pie and it was awesome!! Added a star to review!
Quaint little place on the corner. Lively energy, trendy decor, and fast service.
They have way more than just pizza!
Was able to get pizza, drinks, and breadsticks for less than $15!
The absolute BEST vegan pizza I've had. So many topping options along with falafel "meat balls". Vegan nirvana pizza is awesome and they said they are transitioning from daiya cheese to follow your heart brand. (Daiya has a weird fake taste to it.)Crust was thin and chewy with crunch on the end. Perfect. Paired with alpha centauri on tap. It gave me a food high.
The pizza is good. Unique slice selection. Great service. What's not to like?
My wife loved the pizza here. We ordered a huge 18 inch pepperoni and mushroom. It was quite good! The ranch they offer is .25 per container and is really good. I enjoyed the free side dish peperoncino's and hot sauces.
We were so hungry I forgot to take photo of pizza.
💪🍕 Locally sourced ingredients in a large menu of pizzas, served by a reliably upbeat team.
⚽🏟️ Discounts for lunches and Timbers games.
🚐🍷Can also deliver booze, salads, and cookies to many West Portland addresses.
Great pizza, affordable prices, good atmosphere and service. The workers play their own music which makes the experience way better. It's not the top fourty playlist from corporate chains, but instead music with character. They always have vegetarian and usually vegan options too. Very tasty pizza.
Hotlips pizza civic location is the best. I have tried the pearl, even though its the same company taste is not quite the same.
Love their breadsticks, vegan pizza, veggie nirvana and season special apple pecan one.
So far I've been here twice. After two year life or death type struggle with what I now know to be celiac, I thought pizza was never gonna happen again. And I had some terrible experiences with other local pizza places who just dismiss your concerns and cross contaminate or even give you wheat based crust when you order gluten free
Not here. Least not so far. Both times I go in they have been very reassuring, once going so far as to redo the pizza on their own volition and concern for me ( the person who cut it used the wrong cutter so they came to me and asked if I was legitimate celiac then redid it). The result is AMAZING. Idk if it's just the taste preference I've developed for gluten free or the way they make it, but the texture is unreal and the taste is amazing... and CLEAN feeling compared to 'normal" pizza.
I had a similar outcome at sfny pizza up the block, but then the second time I went there it was straight gluten and tasted like burnt microwave pizza topped with toe fungus. Whenever this happens it is usually preceded by a dismissive attitude of staff - a thing I've learned to watch for. so I think it's primarily a matter of staff and how they deal with their ingredients rather than what those ingredients are exactly. The common thread I think is the atmosphere; stadium hot lips (in contrast to pearl hot lips) always has a business and responsible if not warm and friendly atmosphere which for me has resulted in being able to enjoy an incredible pizza once per week.
Within walking distance from our office I come here often for the lunch special, a slice and a bread stick with the delicious ranch dressing that they serve.
My wife and I just got off the redline and wanted a quick bite to eat. Within 5 minutes of walking in the door we were enjoying a couple of hot vegan slices. The crust was perfectly crispy and the staff were friendly. Definitely a great place for a quick slice of pizza!
The pizza and beer are great as always. I ordered a couple slices of cheese this time and they were exactly what I wanted. Tastes great, the crust has a really great texture, and it's just the right thickness. I usually ask them to cook it a little longer so the crust is just a little more well done.
Good solid pizza parlor. Really good beer selection and a few wines. Decent amount of seating and usual soda drinks. Their Vegan w/ cheese (all vegan, I don’t care if you’re vegan or not) if freaking amazing. There is also a really good “wild card” selection that is switched out frequently.
Watch for Timbers games as it can get VERY crowded and long waits around that time.
I think I have tried 5 different pizza spots in the general Burnside/Goose Hollow area, and Hot Lips remains at the top. If you like Round Table type pizza, Hot Lips is the place for you. Similar, but better. :)
Some of the better pizza I've had yet in Portland. Not the most amazing crust ever but nice and crispy/crunchy. The pie we tried had (fresh- was expecting pickled but still yummy) jalapeno, pep and pineapple. We added chicken and bacon. For the medium pizza, one fountain drink and the tip it was around $45. I would say it was a little pricier than youd think for one pizza and a drink but it was really good. We will be back I'm sure!
Ditched the Pathetic Pizza Schmizza and ordered Hotlips. What a great Move!
Pizza was very well made an Ingredients were fresh and good quality.
This operation takes their Pizza making seriously
Very pleased.
Came before a timbers game, lots of people coming in and out. The staff did a great job keeping the line moving and taking orders. Pizza was delicious like usual and bread sticks were a nice touch. Solid beer selection as well.
