Great homemade pastries and coffee. we had the maple pecan sticky bun, a chocolate peach and banana coffee cake, and a lavender blueberry muffin, excellent !! When in the area you should definitely stop by... Oh, and the staff very friendly.

Homemade syrups for lattes - the black sesame is a personal favorite. They also make quality in house made pastries and sandwiches. Their breakfast burrito is top notch, breakfast biscuit is so so so good. A variety of changing baked goods too. I definitely recommend pre ordering online cause then you don’t have to wait and the process seems pretty fast for pick up. If you didn’t pre order, expect to wait a little because they make their sandwiches and burritos and drinks fresh to order. Don’t rush, enjoy the wait, and enjoy the food and drinks!

Quaint little coffee and baked goods shop serving up very good coffees and a small assortment of really tasty baked goods. My blueberry lavender muffin was great. They also serve up a limited menu of breakfast and lunch items (the breakfast sandwich is highly recommended). Nondescript location that you have to look for to find. Limited seating.

Gotta start by saying, I love this place. I have only received the most amazing, kind service every time I’ve been. Their rotating breakfast sandwich on a homemade biscuit is divine. It’s nice that it changes and always has interesting combos of fresh ingredients. They have incredible baked goods that are made right here- hard to find a spot that has great coffee and bakes their own treats. GF options are available too. Thanks for always being welcoming!

The first time I came in she made my iced tea latte exactly the way I like it & I knew id be back. This place is close to my house and quickly became my favorite & most frequented coffee/breakfast spot. They have new interesting flavors of muffins, scones, coffee cake daily & delicious gluten free quiche. As i sat there eating my quiche this morning I thought about how they do everything right. I try new foods I've thought i didn't like much because the rest seem great and its perfect paired with the other ingredients. I truly can’t say enough about this place. The girls are always friendly, the musics good & I've never had a complaint about their products.

I stopped in to grab a morning coffee as my Airbnb is close by. Nice, casual environment, and the service was great. For drinks, I can only speak to the drip coffee, which was exactly what I needed. Selection of baked goods was nice, the blueberry lavender sour cream muffin I tried was awesome! Would recommend to other travelers to stop in and grab something.

I live in Vancouver and work here in Portland. This shop is such a treat to have on my way to work! The food is fabulous and the employees are top notch! The great smells walking in to the cozy atmosphere just make your day all the better! Sweet and savory is a favorite of mine and when I stop on Fridays I make sure to get something to have on Saturday morning when I am at home drinking coffee and enjoying my weekend! Thank you!

Amazing flaky croissants. They make most (all?) of their pastries. Not really any GF options but I have a corn allergy and they were able to tell me which pastries had corn starch. Really delicious.

My favorite breakfast sandwich in town is from here- the deluxe breakfast sandwich. Its a bit more on the $ side BUT it is totally worth it. I can have two meals out of this sandwich! Their other treats are also good and they make beautiful cakes.

The coffee shop before B & P was nice, but a little on the basic and boring side. I was happy to see another coffee shop come in because I do work about a block away and it's nice to great coffee place so close. This place gets all the little touches right. I love the small decor touches like old-school thermoses and ice chest for sodas. B & P makes some great food too.

I work nearby, so have been able to try most everything on their menu. It's all wonderful! Their pastries, sandwiches, quiche, salad, soup, and more are incredibly inventive, fresh, and SO delicious. The staff is super friendly. Try their fresh orange juice or vanilla bean lemonade! And the biscuit breakfast sandwiches are to die for.

Don't miss the homemade breakfast biscuit ..it's a one of kind flavor-bomb with runny egg, jam, arugula and ricotta. They also have some unique, tasty baked goods.

Move over Pine State! if you're on the search for the best biscuit in town, you've just found it. Bonus, you're supporting a local woman-owned business. It's a safe space for the community and welcoming to children, though I've never seen it overrun with screaming children. Cutting edge flavor combinations and reasonable prices. Breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, soups and salads with some gluten free and vegan options. Everything is made form scratch with love, and I MEAN EVERYTHING. They serve Trailhead coffee and Townshends Tea and have the biggest vintage thermos collection I've ever seen. It's difficult to see from the street so keep your eyes peeled. If I could suggest one thing on the menu it would be everything. On a budget? You can get a large coffee and a day old pastry for $3. You can't beat that in this town! PS: Biscuits.

Yummy in my tummy! I have had the privilege of working down the street from this bakeshop for about a year and I go in all the time for their amazing granola. I find myself a lucky lady indeed when the sweet owner, Amanda, decides to make cinnamon rolls as they are the best I have ever had. I also come in for their breakfast sandwiches, and soups and salads for lunch. I may as well just start giving them a part of my paycheck every week!

Such a sweet, warm and inviting space. The pastry selection is wonderful with a wide choice between savory and sweet options. Keep your eyes open for tea infused muffins and the much sought after biscuits. I can hardly wait to get back to the delight that is herby pineapple habanero hot sauce on my egg sandwich!

I've been to about 20 or so coffee shops in Portland in the last month, and this one has the best baked goods in my opinion (as well as the best banter with patrons). The biscuits are amazing and the cinnamon buns are trouble. Open early, convenient on MLK, a parking lot right next door, but a little bit tricky to spot if you're cruising by.
