This is one solid, seriously scrumptious and satisfying breakfast here at Fat Albert's Cafe in Westmoreland. Killer country gravy, great coffee (their own house blend) and quality-in-this-here omelette action. Biscuit and pots absolutely on point as well. FTW. 🤘

Great breakfast options and quick service. Had their Oregon mixed berry french toast special. Perfect combination of sweet and tart. And the bonus, my coffee mug never ran dry. Be aware, they only accept cash but there is a Wells Fargo ATM just a little north on Milwaukie if you need it.

This cute little cafe is hole in one! Tucked away in a hole in the wall space, its homey and delicious. I loved the Marionberry French Toast. The hot chocolate wasnt the best but it wasnt terrible.

Loved the place. Everything is priced quite low unlike every other restaurant in Portland that thinks they’re some high end place. The food was great and the service was just as great! Our server was great, she explained everything to us and the food came out very fast. The restaurant is also in a nice area... pretty hip but so if the rest of Portland. I would definitely recommend going to the place.

Really well done breakfast place, staff are friendly and kind. Amazing the quality and amount of food this place can kick out on any given day. I had the chicken fried steak with side of fruit and biscuit instead of toast. Easily one of the best biscuits and gravy around. Wife had the bacon cheese omlet dish as a scramble and it had lots of meaty bacon. Homemade jam at the table was delicious on the sourdough toast. One of my favorite breakfasts I've had in recent memory. Will be coming back more often

Excellent service, AMAZING coffee, food is super delicious and the portions are large. The only minor complaint is that their gravy was bland. It was made much more tasty by adding salt and lots of pepper. Their homemade biscuits are heavenly! I definitely recommend this little spot.

Great atmosphere, service, and food! The home browns (hash browns) tasted so good! Reminded me of my first job 30 years ago. I had to boil the potatoes and then shred them with a cheese grater. Our daughter loved her Mickey Mouse pancake with chocolate chips. We will be back! Benson Tech alum :)

I've always liked this restaurant. It has a strong neighborhood connection and has been going for decades. The food generally is traditional American and served relatively quickly. It can vary from very busy to rather quiet. I don't have strong preferences for organic, vegan, etc. so I can't necessarily recommend this place to people who want/need specific types of food. It is generally a friendly place where I often see strangers conversing between tables.

Very cool spot. I tried this spot while visiting from Houston Texas and I loved it! our server was very friendly, clean establishment, and portion sizes that were more than enough! and that is saying something coming from a Texan! I also really liked how they had really good vegetarian and even vegan options. This was one of the first spots I got to eat at while visiting, and I was not disappointed. I would recommend coming to this spot with a appetite! also this place is pretty inexpensive!

Haven't been in here in YEARS but was in the neighborhood. Had a great breakfast - a scramble of smoked andouille sausage with perfectly caramelized onions, peppers, mushrooms. Topped with jack cheese. Really good coffee, too!

A great place to go discretely. Cash only so no paper trails. I went there for brunch and had a very pleasant conversation with my ex wife. She had scrambled eggs with ham and i had a vegan scramble. Portions are large. The ex had enough left over ham to take home and feed the cat. He loves ham. So he also would give 5 stars.

What a great little gem in Sellwood! Amazing food at reasonable prices and the portions definitely live up to the name. I had the breakfast burrito and could only finish half of it. The service was great as well. Really the only downfall would be that they are cash only so be sure and come prepared. I'll definitely be going back soon!

Great food, FAST service. I want to say thank you to everyone here. Our daughter gets very excited around groups of people and screams. Not once did they make us feel bad or give side eyes. As we were leaving the cook looked at our daughter and told her to have a good day. It's the little things people don't realize that make a difference. Thank you, we'll definitely be coming back! Also, love the community table idea.

Fat Albert’s is the best. Super yummy food but the service is even better. They always impress me with such warm attentive service. I often take my young kiddos to Breakfast here and they are so accommodating for us, it makes it so fun!
