We ordered some delicious pizza for pick up from Scotties and it absolutely delivered. I don’t remember the names and I can’t find them on the menu now so that tells me that they rotate their awesome toppings and original flavors. We had one with burrata on it that was next level and we also had one that had some sort of lemon, brined, onion, and greens, I can’t even remember I just remember that it was super awesome, and that the pizzas were huge and perfectly made.
Will go out of my way and or wait until opening days/hours to order Scottie’s. Is there an addictive chemical in this pizza crust? Most likely not, it’s just THAT GOOD. And today I was pleasantly surprised to discover they now have slices at the SE location so you really have no excuse not to try a slice. —but whole pies are enormous and the best bang for your buck (though their prices are fairer than fair) especially if you like leftovers.
Portland has amazing pizza and Scotties just raised the bar! The crust is perfect (I've had a lot of crust lol), it stands up to the toppings but isn't tough. Their combinations are delicious, try the Frankie P and the #1. They take online orders but the times fill up quick on a Friday, so plan ahead. Love love love this place.
Saw this place while walking by and couldn’t resist a pizza slice. The slice was warmed up really well and the ricotta with caramelised onions tasted perfect. Their dips were really good too!
Scottie’s is absolutely top notch pie in Portland. It is just so well balanced and full of juxtapositions! Crunch and chew in the crust, just a dream. Outstanding “leoparding” but not burnt, just the right amount of bitter char to complement the naturally sweet and acidic tomato sauce. The cheese is perfectly portioned and distributed well. This is not a greasy cheap-o pizza, this is a pie for enthusiasts. I waited 20 minutes from order to eating. I would wait an hour for this easy. Staff was super sweet and seemed happy. Happy Staff=Good Place! It’s so hard to choose a #1 pizza in Portland, but this very well might be it. Thank you Scottie’s!
04/23/17: 4.5 out of 5 - First time trying Scottie's Pizza Parlor. Came in for the last day of Portland Mercury Pizza Week., which each Pizza place features a $2 slice. The place was busy!
This is a good neighborhood pizza place to go to off of SE Division Avenue. It's not too big so it can get a bit loud to have a conversation, and there isn't many places to sit.
Pizza by the slices here are good sizes. We went with Centuno Formaggio slices since that's all that was available, which is basically what we came for. It was tasty. The pizza crust was stuffed with Mozzarella which made the slice even better. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
There's good beers by the can to go with the pizza selection. There aren't too many good choices if you happen to be a vegetarian.
Being the last day for Pizza Week for Scottie's Pizza Parlor, the staff weren't very attentive, but they seem to do their best and provided as fast as service possible given the nature of the day.
Like I always say, if you're in the area, try the place once, and decide for yourself. I believe I will be coming back to try some of the other options if I am in the area. Enjoy!
We went for the 10pm, 1st Friday of the month and what a fun experience and great pizza!! You just need 1 slice person. The place is tiny, only about 3 tables, seating for 10, maybe? The atmosphere is so friendly almost like you know Scottie (who is always there). Would definitely go back and a must stop if in town.
Great pizza. The crust and toppings were all great and flavorful. The entire pizza was cooked well.
I tried the BLT pizza with heirloom tomatoes and it was great combination of flavors including the side slaw that you add to the pie on your own.
Neat little pizza Parlor who's pizza packs an impressive punch! I am a pizza connoisseur in my own regard and I was throughly surprised by how good this pizza actually was. We made the drive to PDX from Vancouver and I will say I will do it over and over again. We went in with a game plan on what pizza to order, needless to say that didn't quite work in our favor. They sell out on a regular basis! Again I was shocked to hear such a thing. After explanation, and tasting just how good this pizza actually was, it made total sense. We had our hearts set on the 'DEFINO' But settled on the 'THE #1' we found out you can pre-order online ahead of time, and I mean like 30 days in advance and they are already sold out that far in advance. We will definitely be back and we will get that DEFINO in time! Great staff, better pizza, Scottie's Pizza Parlor SE
Authentic NY pizza style, such a great place, original and simple. The arugula salad is so simple yet so so good. The soda machine has sweet choices like Jones and others. Not so expensive too.
