May I just say...Yum!!! Just had the breakfast burger with hash browns. Burger had bacon and egg and also bacon maple jam. OMG! So delish! That jam is heaven! Husband had burger fried steak with sausage gravy that he thought was very tasty. I also had the Snicker's bar coffee drink....I'm still drooling over how good it was. Only bummer? When you go online and see the specials that aren't the special the day you go there. Definitely going back again tho :)
We stumbled on to this place a year ago and loved it. We had to come back when we came back into town.
Great food and drinks and awesome service and atmosphere.
I recommend the Chicken fried steak and Bloody Mary's.

Jason is one of the best. He comes from a long history of working in the industry and his reputation was amongst the best in the business. The food and service at Hobnob is exceptional and supporting Jason is well deserved.
These guys were awesome! Everybody remembered my name and had a solid grasp on what I like to drink. The service during Game 7 of the World Series when the place was packed was incredible! Great food (the pulled pork sliders are fantastic), awesome happy hour deals, and an excellent beer selection with the outstanding customer service make this place a winner in my book!

We love Da Nob so much. There are always friendly faces, great beers, well-curated coctails/highballs/lowballs/shots, and delicious meals/snacks. I'm hard pressed to think of anything worthwhile that's missing from this joint because Jason and the gang think of everything.

Ben is a crazy meat sorcerer. The sliders are amazing. The specials are great. And there's 3$ long islands on Fridays and Saturdays. You just can't lose.

A fun bar. Great place to watch the Chicago Bears. Good happy hour food cheap. Enjoyed the Hooch shot! Will be back for next Bears game when I’m in town.
Burgers are delicious... especially those with unusual toppings. Wide range of beers. Not that crowded - so bartender will have time to talk to you about your live and other stuff. :)

So glad they are back open, and with covered sidewalk seating! The food is fabulous and the beer is good and cold. The owner is about as friendly and welcoming as you could ask for, even brought water to a pup that was visiting with his people. Highly recommend this place for a fun, good, kickback place to go. Also, all covid precautions are in place including masks and distancing.

Had brunch here yesterday. I've been here plenty of other times for dinner or just drinks. Can't say I've ever had a bad meal. Food is savoury and yummy. If you are the burger or pulled pork kind of person, they have that and so much more. Good drinks and tap selection too.
My boyfriend and I grabbed a bite to eat and had a drink here last night. Nice quiet atmosphere. I fell in love with the bartender/server, he was so kind, friendly, and made sure our drinks were always filled and our needs were met. I ordered the grilled veggie, it was so delicious! I will be coming back.

Edit: 4 years later and I was wrong, so wrong. Staff is still friendly with fantastic service. The burgers and brunches are outstanding and other menu items are fantastic, too. The happy hour here is stellar— it’s never overcrowded to the point I can’t enjoy a nice pint, excellent food, and watch some sports.
It was my first time going here over the weekend. Loved the cozy feel. Plus ping pong table! The $3 Long Islands are amazing. The bartenders are all so nice and friendly. As my drunk meal for the night, I had the grilled cheese and oh my god! The cheese was stringy and delicious, the added roasted red peppers gave it such a great taste. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again, I'll be going here again! 10/10!

This is our long time favorite neighborhood bar & grill. The food is consistently good, service always friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable. Love Jason, the owner, and his entire staff. It's like Cheers with sports on the TVs. Get some fries, they are yum!
The main chef, Ben is a maverick and a genius with his weekly specials. The food is made with love you can taste and this guy must have a perfect palette, because every dish is so flavorful and well balanced. Great spot for a no-fuss, casual neighborhood bar and restaurant, with TV's playing current sports and great brews on tap. Happy hour has a lot of food options, and the staff is always friendly.
Defenitley a Great place to eat and drink. Be forewarned that this is not a cheap place by any stretch of the imagination. Not a bad thing, because the quality is there. Good Service and friendly Bartenders and staff. If you're in the Belmont Neighborhood, it's worth your time to check it out.
The food was good. The service was mediocre due to a custom who planned a Meetup at the place and flooded the place all at once. So service fee was allow and also not accurate. They have curry ketchup there which is good but you have to ask for it along with there happy hour fries.
I had the brisket sandwich and it was great! They had a great sear on the meat and mixed with the nicely picked Serrano's and onions was a perfect balance. My husband got the chicken parm sandwich. While the flavors we're good, the sauce had too much basil and the chicken was rubbery. I would hope they would tenderize it next time.
This is my neighborhood watering hole! Great, full menu of tasty eats, including daily specials and $2 mimosas on Sunday. The burgers are my fave, with a dozen to choose from or build-your-own. Drinks are stiff and perfectly poured. Pop in for some free entertainment by the ultra-friendly staff. Be sure to tell them I sent you!
Love this place for delicious burgers, fries and beer! It has the feel of being in your family friends bar - cozy, sports on tv, board games and ping pong. Friendly staff and comfy booths. It's a neighborhood favorite and you can't go wrong or leave hungry!
Do yourself a favor and EAT HERE. Breakfast, lunch, dinner- it's all fantastic. The food is delicious, the menu diverse, and the staff are some of the best people in Portland.
My personal favorite menu item is anything with their pulled-pork, although I've tried a lot of things and was never disappointed. Make sure to check out their weekly specials; the burgers can get insanely creative.

Fantastic. We enjoyed a salad, a burger, and the shrimp & grits. The service was prompt, courteous, and colorful (as we like it). There are changing tables in both men's and women's restrooms, which is not always the case. See for yourself! It's worth your while.
