Best Indian food I've had in a minute! The veggie samosas were flawless and the sauces fresh made. I can't even describe the flavor of the crust either. I also had the spinach chicken and it was amazing! The chicken was cubed but not in the weird prepackaged way. It was a great experience and even though I walked in 5 minutes before 4 (opening time) they still sat me and got me taken care of quickly. I forgot my record bag there and as I was walking back the waitress was out on the street looking for me. Amazing service!

My husband and I were in the area and decided to try Ghandi since we had never been there before as we don't get out to Portland that often. 5 Star EXCELLENCE. The server allowed me to try samples and the food is perfectly seasoned, well-spiced and savory. I also love the chai tea iced! The server will also fill up your own drink container. I highly recommend Ghandi to everyone who loves FINE Indian Cuisine! Ghandi is by far one of the best Indian eats I've ever had!

The best place we ate in Portland by far! We tried quite a few dishes. All the food was really good! The waitress was very nice and helpful. As a bonus, the booths had power outlets which made my phone pretty happy. I would definitely come back if I'm in town again.

Great happy hour menu with full sized portions. The korma and the spinach chicken were fantastic. Will definitely go back.

Ghandis is the best Indian food in Portland, hands down. The new owner Is super friendly and has even improved the already impressive plates. 10/10 go here and eat if you’re downtown. Take your coworkers here and impress them. Seal that business deal. My favorites are everything but the chicken dishes and vegetables khoorma are incredible.

It was good. There are not choices though the way that you are used to, it's like a buffet that someone else makes for you. There is no menu to sit and order from, sadly. The chicken and the spinach that I had were okay, but like 5/10. The Chai and Naan are free, and are of the quality that you expect from free things.

Lovely place run by this kind lady who made us feel at home with her amazing food and warmth. If you are looking for authentic Indian food in Portland, this restaurant is a must-visit. The old Indian relics add to the rustic desi charm. I'll definitely come back any time I'm in Portland or Vancouver.

We just ate after the reopening and the food tasted incredible! The samosas were flakey, the naan was fluffy, and the korma was delicious. The owner is also really friendly and cares deeply about his restaurant. I will definitely eat here again!

This place is delish! Almost made the mistake of not stopping here. So much food - the combo plate is definitely enough for 2 large meals. If you have an auntie or uncle, this is what they would cook for you - you can feel the love in each bite.

Huge portions for the price and reasonable prices. The food was great too. The owner took over the restaurant from his family, using family recipes.

This restaurant has been a favorite for a very long time. The sauces (especially the vindaloo!) are incredible and the portions are immense. Lunch service is done cafeteria style so it is always fast but it is also very fresh and there are a lot of choices.

Friend said this was hands down the best Indian food. It did not disappoint. Just re-opened recently, and gets a long line during lunch rush due to the popularity of the place.

I wish they would go back to the vegan / vegetarian / non-vegetarian clear labeling they used to have. But that aside, remains a place to get a quick, generous, reasonable price meal downtown during lunch time

Think was my first visit after going plant based (vegan). Only one dish is vegan as is, and I enjoyed it very much. Not too spicy, and still full of flavor. Quick service and friendly staff. Right next to the MAX.

Lunch combo plate is tasty and priced nicely. I've had better Naan. If they could improve that I would have given 5 stars on the food. Owner is very friendly and respectful. Dinning area is dated and dark
