Shari's is just what you expect. The food is good and consistent each visit. As a person with stomach issues I cannot say enough how important consistency is to people like me. Knowing what to expect is huge.
Coffee is great, our service is always great and just as expected.
Side note, who doesn't love a great Shari's Pie.
Food is so good! Employees helpful and friendly. Place could use some patching on booth benches. Clean and well lighted.
We ordered an Eggs Benedict dish with stuffed hashbrowns (no bacon) and the Santa Fe breakfast Burrito (Substitute Impossible Saugage, because climate change) with french fries. Everything was tasty, our server was friendly, everything came out quickly. Lovely little brunch experience, no complaints.
Shari's has good food, but it isn't the place you go to to see and be seen. I'd go here again, but not for events. They are open 24/7 though, which makes them reliable
Overall service was amazing. The workers were very friendly and the restaurant was clean too. The pancakes were amazing and I strongly recommend to try. Will come back regularly for sure!

This Shari’s is never crowded, food is reliably good and service is good. Interiors isn’t updated like other Shari’s so a little worn out but that doesn’t affect the food or service.
Our server Blanca was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean. Overall I recommend it. Great pie as always.
Today was my second time ever having Shari's, and I genuinely had one of the best experiences I've ever had in the pdx metro area. Pam service was truly impeccable, being from the Midwest with a family who has a service industry background. I have a lot of respect for people in the industry, but Portland generally just makes me sad, with the average service being sub-par. Well, not today. Clearly, Pam has a lot of experience and knowledge in the industry, and she demonstrated that very well. Our drinks were brought out before we could even ask for a refill, check ups were often. The service was quick, and I felt appreciated. It was Ashley's first time cooking alone tonight, and she did a wonderful job. I had chicken fried steak, which was cooked to perfection, the gravy was flavorful, and the loaded potato soup was sooo yummy. Thank you for the great experience, I'll definitely be back.
Honestly, I have never been a big fan of Shari's but tonight changed that opinion. We had some gift cards so we stopped in Thursday night may 18th around 7pm. It was an amazing experience. We were greeted with a smile by the person in the front, she sat us and recommended the marionberry lemomade (amazing!). Our server Pam was outstanding. We never had to ask for anything, she never skipped a beat. She was nice, personable, and knowledgeable. She was probably one of the best servers at any pdx restaurant. The back of house person, Ashley, had her first day cooking alone today (also a manager). The food was super fast, fresh and delicious. Shari's you should take a page out of these ladies' books and spread this kind of hard work and positivity across all of your locations. I will certainly be back because of the A team on Thursday nights at Shari's in Garden Home.
They are so nice to their customers. I watched the manager and server take great care with an elderly gentleman, very respectfully. Happened to be there on free pie Wednesday, so I tried the sour cream lemon for the first time. Excellent!
Shari's is always good. Like most places they have a staffing problem. It's not their fault but an issue reflecting our society in general now.
Their menu is extensive. The food quality is constantly good. The staff members that remain are very dedicated, friendly, hardworking and intelligent.
The prices are consistent with the times.
Sheri's is one of my go-to places.
If you have never eaten there, you should give it a try.
This is a great place for a filling sit-down meal any time of the day. The menu is quite broad and the prices are reasonable. Good service is to be expected, and this was no exception on my last visit. I usually order breakfast, served all day, but lately I have been ordering off the honored menu where the portions are smaller. Good salmon plate. I don't often order pie, but their pies are good. One way or another, this is a decent place for dessert. Regardless of which meal is eaten, I'm always looking forward to the next visit. The service was very good today.
