Had the ox tail sandwich and it was beyond a delicious sandwich. It’s a bit small and the prices are cool but the flavors were delicious. The one thing I didn’t like is the weird taxes and additions for tips added to the cost of the sandwich is a bit off. I own restaurants and I’ve never seen this. Especially when the staff doesn’t say much when you walk in. Didn’t even explain I needed to use the computer. Y’all need to work on the love and energy in your place. FOOD IS VERY GOOD! now fix your environment.
It’s one of my daughter’s favorite sandwich shops so I visited with her when I was in town. She had the Oxtail French Dip Sandwich. It’s one of her favs. I ordered the Korean Fried Tofu. The tofu was firm enough without being too hard or dry and the sandwich itself was nicely-spiced. The kimchi is a great addition and the bun was softer than I expected with a buttery crisp. I look forward to trying a bowl when I’m in town again.
Met a friend for lunch, sat outside, and lingered over a tasty bowl and kombucha. What a great Sunday afternoon! It wasn't busy at noon but got fuller as we sat there. Street parking only but free on Sunday. Great veggie and vegan options. The bowls were loaded with a variety of tasty veggies. The sauce was light so getting premixed worked for me. My friend got it on the side. It made it easy and enjoyable to eat healthy. I will definitely be back! They are adding beer and cider taps.
We got the Oxtail French dip and the Cubano. Oxtail French dip was so amazing, could easily have housed two of those. The Cubano was good, but in the presence of the French dip it couldn’t compete.
Great service, love that we order on screens and it’s in an awesome walkable location. Clean too.
The best sandwich I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. And the fries were out of this world. Staff were all suuuuper friendly and you could tell they all genuinely loved being there. Will definitely be back soon!
Stacked is one of the best sandwich shops I have been to in Portland, if not THE BEST. The different selections give you that craving you may be having and the quality of each sandwich will leave you delighted that you came. The service is always in a timely matter and best of all is that they include an automatic tip (aka just paying employees what they should be paid).
I got the BLT - and lemme tell you, it was out of this world. It was so juicy and messy and just perfect. Also the tomatoes in this BLT were so fresh and pure joy.

We popped in for lunch and had a delicious sandwich, soup and fries. Really delicious soup and turkey sandwich. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu! Definitely recommend :)

I can't say too much about this creation, but that won't stop me from trying. It rises above the sandwich genre into the realm of fine art. It's the quintessence of beef on a hoagie bun, stuffed with charred onions, cremini mushrooms, garlic/horseradish toum, havarti cheese, garlic butter, herbs, and a dipping cup of luscious jus. It's a veritable Venus de Milo, but with messy hands.
The Oxtail French Dip is big enough to share, but half is not enough. It's an epiphany, an explosion of flavor. Exquisite. Divine. Sublime. Resplendant. Comically hyperbolic. And I'm not even a sandwich guy!
I missed the signs walking in…Auto gratuity tax for take out and a “wellness and health” tax on a 15 dollar order, then they ask you for an additional tip lol also I’m doing the checking out, so I’m tipping the cooks not the non existent servers…aren’t they paid a better wage than servers, who’s vacation am I funding?! Foods great but I won’t support it. I seen in the other comments the auto extra pay shifted the experience, no one likes it, I would have been fine with the auto gratuity but that extra charge just don’t feel right. Food is absolutely delicious, but I won’t be back for that specific reason. I know, ugh!
Excellent sandwiches, particularly the vegan one. Always delighted when my wife, who's vegan, has actually good options and not just a boring side. They really know their way around food here. The texture, flavor, umami levels were all perfectly balanced.
It's a pretty solid place for some tasty sandwiches. The one that caught my attention was the Oxtail French Dip. I am glad that I got this sandwich. The combination of the meat and the cremini mushrooms with the au jus was great. I also added a side of fries to the order, and it was a good compliment. When ordering, you will have to order from a kiosk. It's great when it works, but if there is a problem, someone will help you out with it. They have some tables inside and some outside.
I had the oxtail sandwich. Truly a fine dining experience within a sandwich. Incredible. Also, I love that the tips are factored into the price. I wish u saw more businesses adopt this because it makes so much more sense!

Years ago, I used to work in the building, and my coworkers and I went here almost everyday for lunch. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu--it's all wonderful, no matter what you order. Super-bright, fresh, and crisp. The prices are a little high compared to other sandwich shops, but it's totally justified. I have eaten here dozens of times over the years and never regretted a purchase!
Now that COVID is a thing, they're still open for abbreviated hours, and they have a handful of patio tables. I have never been there for lunch during the work week, but this is a great option for brunch on the weekend if you have a car or are up for walking a little out of your way. Very little foot traffic in this area, lots of (car and bike) parking, and seating is far enough apart it felt safe. Really appreciated that it's open-air seating with sun umbrellas, the tables have plastic tablecloths to make wiping down easier, and everyone was masked unless eating--which is how it should be, but not necessarily how it always is!
Really lovely staff here, too. Have been here dozens of times since it opened and never had anything less than a super-friendly experience.
