I had the cranberry ice tea! I love that they serve Stumptown coffee. Great pastries too. It's lovely sitting outside by the river.

My favorite spot on the waterfront. We've been making this our half-way break for our bike rides for the past eight years. Portland Fog tea latte is a nice way to start the morning.

This place is located right along the river with a great outdoor seating area. The path is used primarily for occasional dog walking and jogging. The interior is cozy and very inviting. I ordered the chocolate chip cookie (mint lovers, please order this) with a bourbon butterscotch latte. I was pleasantly surprised to know there is WiFi as well, so you can definitely get some quick errands done. And working on the go for my editing, this is a great perk for a café. The inside doesn't offer a ton of seating, but when the weather is nice, there is plenty of seating when you enjoy their picnic tables.

Great lattes and snacks here, we accidentally found it on a walk when we stayed at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel. It didn't show up on Google maps when we searched for "coffee near me" but so glad we found it. The Starbucks near the hotel is closed on the weekend, and Upstream's coffee was so much better anyways! We were able to sip our lattes outside watching the boats in the marina on a beautiful summer morning! June 26, 2023 edited to add that I went by Upstream yesterday and the glass was all papered up and their picnic table was gone. I didn’t see a sign that they were remodeling, this would be their busiest season I would think. They look permanently closed. :(

What a treat. The coffee is VERY good and they have local pastries and some that they make themselves. Their pesto is amazing (it comes on their avocado toast). They even have amazing dog treats that my dog can’t get enough of. Stop in when you’re walking the waterfront. It’s worth the stop.

Got a very nice chai latte here! The staff member was very friendly and wore a mask, and the shop has a lovely ambience and lots of cute plants decorating the surfaces. Definitely recommend if you are looking to get a delicious and quick drink while walking along the waterfront.

Delicious Avacado Toast but overall a pretty unorganized situation. We felt bad for the staff, out of pesto even though it was part of many menu items, out of plates on which to serve food...

I love this place! Super cute and cozy inside. Their coffee is delicious, the baristas do an excellent job and they're always friendly. Pastries are delicious as well. They have a little shop and the products look super quality! I'll be back, always enjoy my time here.

What a lovely little cafe. On day one I ordered toast with goat cheese, honey and lavender. On the second day avocado toast with dried chili seeds. Both snacks were utterly delicious. The coffee was very good and if you are lucky you will get seats outside. I spent many hours sitting outside, ordering coffee or cookies and reading my book. The time spent there felt like being on holiday. Very relaxing.

Nice location, good sandwiches and food options. Friendly service and dog minded. My pup enjoyed the attention and the water bowl they offered us without asking. Sweet stop during a stroll by the waterfront.

So cute and awesome! Had a Rapid Recovery smoothie and it was delicious along with the caprese toast. Service was fast and she was so informative and friendly and even brought our stuff outside where we were sitting. A perfect place to read a book and enjoy some of the best coffee/smoothies and quaint snacks.

We like to stay at the Marriott nearby and so this is a convenient stopping point if we're walking the dog or just enjoying a stroll by the river. Outside tables where you can tie the pooch while ordering drinks. Friendly service, good coffee, wish the pastry selection was better but no complaints about the quality.
