First time at this place! Amazing food! Excellent service. We had brunch, mimosas and loved it! reminded me of an upscale NYC diner!
My husbands food order was behind the rest of ours and they bent over backwards to apologize. Give us a huge discount that was way more than the food he had ordered plus they gave us 3 free entree coupons for future visits! Beyond Amazing service!!!!

Absolutely phenomenal food, service was fun and spunky , the owner was a gem ! And the Portuguese fried rice and sausage �� I had the corn beef and hash and was in awe of my foodgasim!! Keep it up �
Everything including the staff were wonderful! There was free coffee to help with the chilly weather when arriving at the restaurant. The host gave our 15 month old son a small bowl of fresh fruit as the wait was a bit longer than expected. This was so thoughtful! We were greeted right away by our waitress who was friendly and relaxed. The waitress took our order and asked if we wanted our toddlers food to come out first. I told her that this would be great! We received free delicious beignets while waiting for our food. Our food arrived within just a few minutes of ordering. Talk about being blown away with service on a busy Sunday brunch! All of the food was very good as the waitress said it would be upon questioning her about it items before hand. We can’t wait to come back!

My friend and I stopped by Portland on our way back to Vancouver from the coast and we decided to eat there. We both ordered the same meal but unfortunately my server learnt after a few minutes that they were out of one of the items. They payed for my meal after that. Very good staff and I was impressed by how they take care of their costumers. I will definitely go back there again when I'm visiting Portland next.

This Family owned and operated restaurant is a gem in the city. The food is always amazing, the choices diverse, and delicious. The staff are amazing and beyond friendly. The atmosphere is energetic, and the ambience perfect.
Ed, Cheryl and family have created our favorite restaurant in Portland, hands-down. We drive from West Salem just to experience Cheryl's on 12th.
Very attentive staff who reconciled an early mistake very quickly, and the experience from there out was outstanding. Our waiter was kind, knowledgeable, and on the ball. The owners were there, and not just standing around overseeing things, they were busy attending to the needs of the customers the entire time, showing by example what they desire for their restaurant.
I will definitely go back when I am in Portland again.
Actually, not much to write. Got there about 2 pm, place was not crowded, got seated immediately. Fast service, nice waitress, tasty food (I had to try their famous Portugal fried rice, yummy indeed). Five stars and definitely will visit again when I am around.
Had the Croque Madame, without a doubt, one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Busy brunch, but great service! Much love from North Dakota
